Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 already has a solid selection of weapons that can be used with great loadouts and class setups. But, even in these early days of the game’s beta, a few weapons have become standout picks as the best Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 weapons, and some are even completely overpowered.
In this guide, we will cover the five main standouts right now, with some weapons for close-range playstyles and some for snipers too. There is a gun here for everyone so be sure to use these before they get nerfed for the full game’s release. This guide is based off around 20 hours of playtime with the Black Ops 6 beta.
The best weapons and guns in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta are:
The Jackal PDW is by far the best weapon in Black Ops 6 right now. The beta has a limited selection, but it is incredibly strong with unparralled damage, range, stability, and mobility. It is undoubtedly overpowered at this moment in time, so expect a nerf. But, even after that, it will likely remain one of the best guns in the game due to its natural mobility thanks to its lack of weight.
This makes it a great choice for any run-and-gun build making use of omnimovement. For a great set-up for the gun, check out our Black Ops 6 Jackal PDW loadout guide.
The next weapon on this list is the AMES 85. This is unlocked at level 20, but it’s the most accurate assault rifle in the game right now. While it doesn’t have the power of the AK-47, it has an incredible set of stats that allow you to stay on target thanks to minimal recoil, sway, and decent overall damage range.
Attachments can make this weapon even more reliable, reducing its damage falloff and giving you a bit of mobility. Our Black Ops 6 AMES 85 loadout has everything you need.
Next up is another assault rifle: the XM4. This is the first weapon you have access to, and it is the jack-of-all-trades AR in this game. There is nothing particularly bad about it and it has a solid set of stats that mean it can be used at any range with the right attachments. It won’t excel at one thing like the AMES 85 does, but you can still rack up impressive kill streaks with it.
For a great class setup to compliment the weapon, be sure to read through our Black Ops 6 XM4 loadout guide.
For those snipers out there, the SVD is the stronger choice in the beta as of right now. It is capable of landing a one-hit kill on the upper body, shoulders, and head, allowing you to rack up back-to-back kills effortlessly. Skilled snipers are already earning incredible Plays of the Game with the SVD.
Add some solid attachments on to it and it can be customised for stakeout sniping from one spot or run-and-gun playstyles. It really is that flexible, and with some practice and the right loadout, you can destroy teams in Hardpoint and Domination where there are objectives to focus your attention on.
For those who want a shotgun build, then the Marine SP can be exceptionally strong. However, it is somewhat inconsistent. But when you are able to land your shots on target, remain at close range as much as possible within buildings, and stay off the radar, it is incredibly strong, capable of landing one hit kills back-to-back on entire teams.
It is the only shotgun in the game currently, but it can be a force to be reckoned with in the right hands.
