The case concerned the song ‘Baby Can I Hold You’, a track from Chapman’s 1988 debut album. In 2017, Minaj had recorded a track ‘Sorry’ that interpolated the Chapman song. The organisers of Bonnaroo have announced a virtual streaming event in lieu of their cancelled 2020 festival. Virtual Roo-Ality will take place from September 24-26 and will feature a mix of archival performances and live appearances. Charli XCX, Action Bronson and Denzel Curry are among the artists set to make “appearances” at the festival. Exact details as to their involvement in the live-stream have not yet been revealed. The ’24 Karat Gold’ Tour took place between 2016 and 2017 in promotion of Nicks’ eighth solo studio album, released in 2014. Footage from the film was recorded during her shows in Pittsburgh and Indianapolis, produced and directed by Joe Thomas.
