French Montana has been on a pretty wild press run to promote his new single “That’s A Fact.” The Bronx rapper has made some inflammatory statements about rappers like Kendrick Lamar and Young Thug, saying that he has more hits than the former before starting a short-lived feud with Thugger. During his phone call with Big Boy TV this week, he turned even more heads when he spoke about his memories from the “Lockjaw” video shoot with Kodak Black.
The track is one of French Montana’s biggest songs of all time but, according to him, the video shoot was a little awkward. Speaking to Big Boy about the reason why, Montana says that both he and Kodak Black were pretty faded and they never actually had a conversation. However, Kodak did try to communicate with the rapper.

“Me and him didn’t have one conversation when we shot the video. I just looked at him and he growled at me,” says French Montana, cracking up with laughter.
Kodak Black is seriously about that life and this sounds like something that actually happened. We wouldn’t be surprised if he’s growled at a few other rappers as he crossed paths with them too.
Before closing his statement about the Florida native, French repped the #FreeKodak movement. This weekend, the rapper was allegedly brutally attacked by seven guards who struck him repeatedly on the head with a metal pole as he was handcuffed. His representative claimed that they flicked his testicles and told him he would need “bigger balls to survive.”
