At this point in his career, Lil Baby is trying to boss up and become the next rap mogul. He wants to follow in the footsteps of people like Jay-Z, Diddy, and others that have successfully transitioned into being strong businessmen. The 25-year-old wants to be responsible for breaking new talent, which is the reason why he’s currently so keen on 42 Dugg and Rylo Rodriguez, two of his artists.

No longer needing to rely on other artists to get his own bag, Lil Baby is comfortable cooling off a little when it comes to feature verses. In fact, he seems to be willing to drop features altogether unless the bag is right.

Making the announcement Twitter, the Atlanta stand-out told folks that he would no longer be working on other people’s songs unless he gets a major payday.

“Ain doing no more features unless it’s worth it, i got tooo many,” wrote the multi-platinum rapper.

He has already had a major year, clocking in his first-ever #1 album with My Turn. Today, he popped up on new songs with Future and Polo G for their albums. Rightfully so, he has done a ton of features in the last little while so taking a break probably isn’t a bad idea.

From now on, you can expect to hear him only on his own records.
