She’s trying to keep the peace, but a recent quote from Reginae Carter ran by Page Six has entangled her in a bit of drama. Recently, Reginae was asked about her VH1 series T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle by the outlet. They wanted to know if viewers would see her dating anyone new, and she told them, “I’m not bringing no dudes on the show, I’m not making nobody famous. I’m not putting nobody on no more.”

Publications ran the story as if she was directing the comment to her ex-boyfriend, rapper YFN Lucci. The pair went through a public breakup months ago, and while in real-time Reginae has healed from that time in her life, her reality show is airing what it was like for her immediately following the split. Reginae addressed Page Six‘s report on social media and the controversy that ensued, claiming that she never intended for them to be linked to her ex.
“I don’t if they heard me wrong or something, I don’t know, or if they’re trying to start something, but I don’t want no beef,” she said. “This is not gonna be no ugly breakup. He doing him, I’m doing me. I never claimed anybody’s fame. I never said anything like that.” She added, “I just wanted to make that clear. It was a big misunderstanding. [I just meant] I’m not bringing anybody on TV with me again.” Watch Reginae Carter explain the comment below.
