Coronavirus quarantine is putting on a damper on many artists' careers, as they're unable to tour, or go outside in general, whether it's business meetings or a recording studio. Nonetheless, it's fair to say that most mainstream artists have a home studio set-up, and are still able to work on new music during this period. Lil Baby has been prepping and teasing his Lamborghini Boys album pre-coronavirus takeover, and now he's made a new announcement where that album is concerned.
Not that we can really be mad at an album delay, Baby just did drop My Turn at the end of February. It was a couple of short weeks laters that he first announced the project, Lamborghini Boys, an album he said that would only feature fellow Lambo-owners. At the time, he said it would drop in 60 days. However on Twitter today, he said he'll be delaying the album "until we [back] outside."
Good idea or nah? I'm sure we'd all love more music in these quarantined times, but at the same time, it's difficult to promote a new project when going to radio shows, clubs and the like is not a possibility.
We'll keep you posted on new details surrounding Lamborghini Boys.
PARTYNEXTDOOR Delays Album & Announces Its Title
PARTYNEXTDOOR's new album will be titled "PARTYMOBILE."
We've been waiting patiently for the next PARTYNEXTDOOR album (for years might I add...) and finally, the month has come. January 2020. Late last year, the OVO Sound artist announced that he would be releasing his new studio album to start off the fresh decade and, now that we're in the final week of January, his fans were anticipating a surprise drop on Friday. Unfortunately, that won't be the case (unless PND is playing us) because he just announced it has been pushed back. There's some good news attached though.

Considering the fact that we've been keeping cool for a number of years as we waited for Party to craft his next masterpiece, another few weeks won't be unbearable. Announcing the title of his next album, PARTYMOBILE, PARTYNEXTDOOR told fans that he wouldn't be staying true to his promise of new music in January. Thankfully, his post cleared up when he will actually be dropping though.
"To the fans, I’m gonna need some more time to put the finishing touches on this album," wrote the critically-acclaimed Toronto artist. "February... I promise the extra time will be worth it."
The comments are mixed with some trolls claiming that "all men do is lie" while others are complimenting PND for knowing the sound was not yet there. Hopefully, the extra time brings us a classic. Who's ready for new PND?
Ari Lennox Goes On R-Rated Rant Defending Rihanna’s Right To Take Her Time
“Let the queen breathe.”
In a time of extreme divisiveness, there is one thing unifying the masses: the yearning for a new Rihanna album. It has been four years since her last release, Anti, and her fans are struggling to cope with this protracted hiatus. Despite all the classics she has given us and the endless list of creative endeavors she takes on, RiRi is consistently hounded for The Album. The lack of gratitude for her hustle and extensive oeuvre is astounding and someone had to speak up. That someone turned out to be Ari Lennox.
Ari Lennox is quickly becoming one of the most entertaining artists on social media and she proved that with another hilarious IG Live moment. After being asked by a viewer how she felt about Rihanna not releasing music, Lennox went off. “I feel like… I look around me and see a world of glutinous f*cks,” the Shea Butter Baby singer started her R-rated rant. “Listen, Rihanna has been dropping hits, since she was a lil 16-year-old baby, Ponde-ing it all on the goddamn motherf*cking a** Replay. She never stops. This woman found love. This woman got a goddamn makeup company. This woman got a goddamn fashion line. This woman just became a billionaire f*cking sensation goddess and you little glutinous f*cks have the nerve to be screaming and crying about the fact that Rihanna hasn’t dropped any music?”
While Lennox may have indulged in hysterics for comedic effect, she spoke no falsehoods. She went on to describe how ecstatic (literally) we will all be when the music finally arrives, so there’s no point in complaining about the wait. Watch Lennox’s full testimony below, and remember to respect and appreciate Rihanna always.
