Jennifer Lopez and fiance Alex Rodriguez surprised fans on Thursday with an adorable new addition to their family. The couple surprised J. Lo’s 12-year-old son Max with a Goldendoodle puppy, a much-needed to dose of pure happiness in these trying times.
The “Jenny From The Block” hitmaker shared the news on Instagram by uploading an endearing video of Max laughing and playing with the brown ball of fur, and asked fans to help name the pup. The 50-year old mother of two captioned the post, “Welcome to the fam, @tbdpupofficial! We got Max this adorable lil golden doodle and we haven’t named him yet! What should we name this cutie!? Tyson or Yankee? All will be revealed soon!”
The singer even created an official Instagram account for the yet-to-be-named pet pooch, and he’s already racked up more than 10,000 followers. Check out out this adorable family photo with Lopez and her retired pro Baseball fiance Rodriguez, along with Lopez’s daughter Emme and the family’s other dog.
Naturally, fans were blown away by the level of cuteness. One fan wrote, “Stop it! So cute.” Another wrote, “Aww so cute. So much love in one picture.”
It looks like the Lopez family is staying pretty busy these days. Back in May, Random House announced that they would be publishing a children’s book written by Lopez’s 12-year-old daughter Emme titled Lord Help Me. The book is slated to be released in September.
