Kawhi Leonard has consistently been one of the more bizarre figures in the NBA. While bizarre might be a strong word, we could definitely call him "enigmatic" and absolutely no one would bat an eye. Leonard has been showing flashes of his personality over the past year or so and fans are starting to become endeared to his robotic antics. At times, Leonard can be seen doing things that we simply don't expect from the average person. This typically leads to some hilarious memes and quite honestly, we enjoy them very much.
According to TMZ, Leonard was back to his old bag of tricks this past week as he was vacationing in Cabo for the All-Star break. As you can see inside of the tweet below, Leonard was wearing a New Balance jersey with his own name on the back. In fact, the jersey also says "Don't Be Mad" on the front.
Ever since signing to New Balance, the brand has been having Leonard work overtime and he's been delivering in every way possible. Leonard is constantly wearing his own New Balance shirts and shoes and the relationship seems to be prospering.
With this latest stunt in mind, it will be interesting to see what else Leonard has in store for New Balance in the future.
LeBron James Sends Lakers A Message Ahead Of All-Star Break
LeBron James is excited about his team’s chances.
LeBron James continues to be one of the best players in the entire NBA despite being 35 years old and in his 17th season. The Los Angeles Lakers are currently first in the entire Western Conference with a record of 41-12 and are heading into the All-Star break with a great chance to eventually win the entire championship. It’s not going to be easy but the Lakers have the pieces to get it done, as long as they get a good draw in the playoffs (*cough* avoid the Clippers *cough.*)
After a huge win against the Denver Nuggets, LeBron made it a point to hit up Instagram where he sent a message to his entire team. “Helluva win last night fellas!! Perfect way to go into the break on a high note! Miss you boys already!” James wrote.
It’s clear this team has a ton of camaraderie and are there for each other. In the aftermath of Kobe Bryant’s passing, the Lakers have come together and seem ready to take on any challenge that might come their way. With the All-Star break on the horizon, we can only imagine how well-rested this team will be next Friday when they return to action against the Memphis Grizzlies.
