He may be a comedian, but Dave Chappelle is also respected as a commentator on the culture. For decades, Chappelle has used his talents, and his platform, in an effort to shed light on issues plaguing politics, entertainment, and social justice issues. In a surprise move, in the wee hours of Friday (June 12) morning, Chappelle's 27-minute special 8:46with Netflix was shared. The special was reportedly filmed on June 6 in Yellow Springs, Ohio, where Chappelle spent much of his childhood.
In true Dave Chappelle fashion, he didn't hold back as he addressed the recent slayings of black people. During the special Chappelle called out controversial Black conservative Candace Owens, insulting her...uh, nether regions... in the process. “I seen Candace Owens try to convince white America, ‘Don’t worry about it. He’s a criminal anyway,'" Chappelle recalled of Owens making a 15-minute video of how George Floyd shouldn't be respected because of his criminal past. 'I don’t give a f*ck what this n*gga did. I don’t care what this n*gga did. I don’t care if he personally kicked Candace Owens in her stanky p*ssy. I don’t know if it stanks, but I imagine it does. If I ever find out, I’ll let you know for sure. I’ll tell like Azealia Banks. I’ll tell.”
The joke is a reference to Azealia Banks's recent confession that she had an affair with Dave Chappelle. "I have actually f*cked a lot of f*cking very powerful f*cking men," Banks said. "I should ruin your f*cking marriage, I should tell the world we f*cked. What the f*ck I'm keeping secrets from y'all n*ggas for? Nah, Dave Chappelle can fc*k me again. That was some good black d*ck."
Chappelle laughed at his own joke but didn't confirm whether or not Azealia Banks was telling the truth. Did you check out 8:46 yet? If so, what did you think about the Netflix special?

Azealia Banks didn’t appreciate Ebro Darden calling for people to “uplift” Doja Cat during her scandal.
It’s been quite a few days for Azealia Banks. Following Lana Del Rey’s controversial remarks, Azealia stepped forward to reignite her beef with the singer. Iggy Azalea also caught the wrath of Azealia Banks over a song or two, then there was the revelation that she may have slept with Dave Chappelle, and when Doja Cat‘s scandal broke, it was the Hot Pink artist’s turn. Videos of Doja in chat rooms using explicit, racist language and making disparaging remarks about black people began to circulate, and it didn’t take long for the sleuths to find old tweets where she spoke negatively about marginalized groups of people.
Cooper Neill / Stringer / Getty ImagesTens of thousands of people have weighed in about Doja Cat‘s comments, and it didn’t take long for her to become the target of Cancel Culture. Ebro Darden offered a suggestion in lieu of canceling Doja, saying she should be encouraged and educated about her blackness. Azealia Banks wanted to parts of that and blasted the popular host.
“Instead of canceling Doja Cat for having some weird fetish and identity issues,” Ebro began. “Possible to uplift her and show her that being Black is beautiful? Im assuming she had no Black culture in her suburban wasteland and her white Mom couldn’t help her. And chat rooms.” Azealia responded, “Where the f*ck was this sympathy for me n*gga?” she wrote. “Old high yellow jiffy pop cornbread looking n*ggas stick together I see.” Check it out below.
Azealia Banks Claims She Had Sex With Dave Chappelle; Twitter Reacts
Azealia Banks said she had sex with Dave Chappelle, leading to some wild reactions online.
In the midst of her latest tirade against Nicki Minaj (and Doja Cat by extension), Azealia Banks made some wild claims about having an affair with Dave Chappelle.
"I have actually fucked a lot of fucking very powerful fucking men," said the rapper. "I should ruin your fucking marriage, I should tell the world we fucked. What the fuck I'm keeping secrets from y'all n***as for? Nah, Dave Chappelle can fuck me again. That was some good black dick."
As expected, social media has gone bonkers with this revelation, joking about Azealia Banks and how she can make the strangest claims at times. For the last five years, she has remained semi-relevant almost solely because of the crazy shit that comes out of her mouth. This, like other times, elicited a strong reaction.
A number of people are predicting that the comedian, who is a married man, will come for Azealia during his next special. Others are calling her out for her previous remarks that she does not have sex with black men.
At the end of the day, the legitimacy of these claims is really shotty. Azealia Banks isn't always the most believable and she seemingly loves to tear other people down. Do you think this actually happened though?
Azealia Banks Goes Wild On Nicki Minaj & Doja Cat: "You Just Jealous Of Cardi B"
Azealia Banks is upset after Nicki Minaj ignored Doja Cat's recent racism controversy.
Whenever something pops off in the media about race, you better believe Azealia Banks is going to voice her opinion about it. This weekend, Doja Cat was revealed to have regularly frequented alt-right, incel-type chat rooms where she allegedly engaged in some pretty clear anti-Black conversations. The rapper, who has family from South Africa, has apologized for the videos before explaining that she was only there to "socialize." Unfortunately, that clarification was not enough for some of her fans, who decided to cancel the rapper on Twiter.
Azealia Banks is among those who want absolutely nothing to do with Doja Cat and she's also going after her "Say So" collaborator, Nicki Minaj, for remaining quiet on the issue.
Tim P. Whitby/Getty Images"Another thing that I find fucking funny, is Nicki... for all the fucking mouth you have for Cardi B for talking shit about black women, and now you quiet because you got your little number one with this white bitch," said Azealia on Instagram, referring to Doja Cat as a "white bitch."
"You a pussy ass bitch. Fuck outta here. ... You shoulda got right on that Queen Radio and you put that bitch in the ground where she belongs. Put that bitch down in the fucking South African emerald mine where the fuck that white bitch belongs. Now I'm looking back at it, you were just jealous of Cardi... She's got more swag than you. You made a whole radio show about how Cardi B is bad for black women."
In the same video, Azealia Banks also said she thinks Cardi B is trash (of course...) and claimed to have had sex with Dave Chappelle so, there's that.
Lana Del Rey Isn’t Backing Down: "The Culture Is Super Sick"
Following a passionate open letter-turned-controversy, Lana Del Rey draws a comparison between herself and FKA Twigs.
All it took was an open letter for Lana Del Rey to immerse herself into the center of a bonafide controversy. While it could be argued that she knew exactly what she was getting into, the Norman Fucking Rockwell songwriter has never been one to bite her tongue. In case you missed it, Del Rey initially sparked the madness by directly naming Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Camila Cabello, and more in a complicated open letter meant to highlight the hypocritical views many hold toward female songwriters in the game.

It didn't take long before people began accusing her of being racist, a narrative that quickly began gaining steam on social media. With things seeming to spiral out of control, Del Rey took to Instagram to further elaborate on her position -- once more drawing a comparison with another prominent female songwriter. But first, she doubled down on the thesis statement. "I just want to remind you that in that post – my one and only personal declaration I’ve ever made, thanks for being so warm and welcoming – was about the need for fragility in the feminist movement."
“I just think it’s sad the women I mentioned, whether they sing about dancing for money – the same stuff, by the way, I’ve been singing about chronically for 13 years, " she continues. "Yes, they are my contemporaries, yes they are my friends. The difference is, when I get on the pole people call me a whore, but when [FKA] Twigs gets on the pole, it’s art. I’m reminded constantly by my friends, that lyrically there are layers and complicated psychological factors that play into some of my songwriting," she continues. "But the culture is super sick right now. People want to turn my advocacy for fragility into a race war -- it's really bad."

Azealia Banks issued a subliminal response to the controversy surrounding her former foe, Lana Del Rey, this week.
Azealia Banks may be known for running her mouth on several occasions, but this time, she’s remaining tight-lipped—well, sort of. Last week, Lana Del Rey posted an open letter “to the culture” in which she called out the industry’s double standards and denounced the unfair criticism she’s received for her lyrical content, all the while dragging a ton of fellow female artists into her mess. The letter received a massive wave of backlash, as many called out Lana for her racism and overall tone-deaf behaviour. However, Lana remained firm in her stance, which just led to even more outrage.

All the while, a past sparring partner of Lana’s was observing quietly, relishing in the satisfaction that she appeared to have been right about the songstress all along. Although Azealia has been involved in a number of feuds with many different people (and a few countries), her beef with Lana was one of the more high profile cases, especially since the two of them used to be buddies.

On Saturday (May 23rd), after Lana published yet another letter doubling down on her original point, Azealia posted a photo of herself looking at her phone with a far-from-surprised look on her face. In the caption of the IG post, she wrote, “Watching it all unfold.” It looks like this was Azealia’s way of saying “See? I told you so!”
Azealia Banks Trends Because People Want Her To Go Off On Lana Del Rey
Everybody wants Azealia Banks to cough up her opinion about the Lana Del Rey mess.
Azealia Banks and Lana Del Rey do not like each other. Their feud has gotten ugly in recent years, with Azealia even threatening to burn down Lana's house using her witchcraft. She has also criticized the singer for working with A$AP Rocky, who she accused of beating women. Needless to say, they've got their own opinions of each other.
This week, Lana Del Rey announced her new album and, in doing so, she needlessly shaded a number of successful female artists for their lyrical content.
"Question for the culture: Now that Doja Cat, Ariana, Camila, Cardi B, Kehlani and Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé have had number ones with songs about being sexy, wearing no clothes, fucking, cheating etc - Can I please go back to singing about being embodied, feeling beautiful by being in love even if the relationship is not perfect, or dancing for money - or whatever I want - without being crucified or saying that I'm glamorizing abuse?" asked Lana in a lengthy post.
People have been going after Lana for hours, urging her to delete the post and accusing her of bringing down other women in an attempt to make her own point clearer. Now, the same critics are bringing Azealia Banks into this mess, hoping that she ends up commenting on it.
One of the top trends on Twitter is "Azealia" and it's just because people want the rapper to chime in on what's happening.
"What time does azealia usually wake up let’s get this party started," wrote one fan. "Waiting on Azealia Banks’ take on Lana’s post lmao," said another.
People are ready for the tea. Azealia is awake, updating her Instagram Story a few hours ago. Will she touch this topic though? We'll see...
Azealia Banks Says "Crazy Girls Need Love Too" In Tiny Bikini
Azealia Banks previews some new music and shows off her body in a miniature pink bikini.
Azealia Banks is one of the most talented female rappers in the country but, unfortunately, she’s been on a downward spiral in the media for the last five years. The New York native is known more for her mouth than for her rhymes these days, spewing all sorts of controversial opinions on social media and drawing a major disconnect between herself and potential fans. She continues to release music but, because of her previous actions online, she earns barely any nationwide attention.
This week, she decided to attract people to her page by showing off her body in a miniature pink bikini, barely covering her femininity and giving people a full view.
Shifting the camera down to reveal her flat stomach and her bent legs in a bikini bottom just as small as the top, the rapper said that “crazy girls need love too.” Clearly, Azealia felt like trapping a few of her fans for their thirst. Maybe this is bait so she can call people out on her story?
In a second post, Banks shared a snippet of a demo she recently recorded, unleashing her anger on wax, which we love to hear. She goes through a verse before cutting off the track and inviting us to stay tuned for its eventual release.

Azealia Banks’ Shocking Witchcraft Revealed
Azealia Banks offered some startling advice to somebody seeking advice on witchcraft, revealing her own experience in the field.
Azealia Banks is one of the most talented female rappers of all-time. Although her legacy has been tainted, she remains one of the women who pushed forward a female inclusion in the genre when they wasn't getting any love. We were even confident enough to place her debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste, on our list of the top twenty-five hip-hop debuts of this century.
Still, despite her clear talent, the 28-year-old recording artist continues to make headlines for her alternative lifestyle instead of her art.
The latest example of this comes as part of the new issue of NOTION Magazine, where a former collaborator shares the advice he received from Banks when he considered taking up witchcraft.
Jeff Kravitz/Getty ImagesYou've likely heard about the rapper sacrificing chickens in her closet. Apparently, she also collects snake blood as well.
"In my beginning days of doing witchcraft, I asked her for some advice on a spell," says pop author Alex Kazemi about Azealia. "She was like, 'Why don't you just go down to the river, find a garter snake, cut it and use its blood?'"
While the extent of Azealia Banks' talent seemingly knows no borders, the extent of her madness is somewhere around that point too.

Azealia Banks Threatens To Expose Busta Rhymes If Her Doesn’t Clear Track
Azealia Banks isn't too happy with Busta Rhymes, and she's given him four days to clear a song—or else.
Almost six years ago, Busta Rhymes and Azealia Banks were on good terms. Back then, he released his track "Partition" featuring Ms. Banks, a remix to Beyoncé's mega-hit. Then, in 2018, Azealia teased another collaboration with Bussa-Buss, but apparently things have taken a turn in the last two years because she recently aired out a few grievances with the hip hop legend.
Cassandra Hannagan / Stringer / Getty ImagesAccording to The Jasmine Brand, Azealia took to her Instagram Story to call out Busta. “When this quarantine is over, I’mma f*ck a lot of y’all n*ggas summers up. Everybody getting violated,” she began. “I got a long list of n*ggas who bout to get a surprise. Y’all never seen how evil this s*it gets. I’m not talking about music. I’m coming to SEE you n*ggas. Each and every last one of you.”
“[Busta Rhymes], you first n*gga. Clear the record before I expose you. Don’t act stupid,” Azealia Banks added. “Call @elis and @chepope and get it done in the next five days.” She then let him know that she's not "f*cking around" and told him he now has four days. "Fat steroid neck son of a b*tch." She ended things by writing, "That wasn't fair. But you still ugly. Ha." Check out a few slides below.
