Cardi B hopped on Instagram live with Bernie Sanders on Tuesday night to discuss a myriad of issues, including the coronavirus pandemic and the former presidential candidate's previous opponents. Cardi has been an avid and vocal Bernie supporter for quite some time now, so it's no surprise that he would ask her to join him in a virtual discussion about politics. Among this wide range of topics was the current president, Donald Trump, and how he's been handling this global health crisis. Cardi criticized Trump's approach to coronavirus and listed the things he could have done to improve the situation.
While Cardi was discussing a conspiracy theory among Trump supporters that the coronavirus pandemic is merely a Democratic tactic to hurt Trump's chances at re-election, Cardi countered Trump's common claim that the Dems have been pushing "propaganda" to make him look bad. "Honey, you don't need the Democrats to make you look bad," she said, directing her remarks at Trump. "You make your own self look bad. There were so many chances that he had when interviewers asked him questions that he could have answered with the right answer that would make people be like, 'OK, he actually cares.' And instead of him giving a right answer, he just shushed them off or just degrades them. It's like, you don't need no Democrat to make you look bad. Sir, you make your own self look bad." Cardi also points out that the severity of the pandemic in the United States could have been significantly reduced back in January, but Trump didn't take the proper precautions early enough (or at all).

Later in their conversation, Cardi asks Bernie about his recent endorsement of Joe Biden following his own withdrawal from the race. The rapper explains that young voters just "don't rock" with Biden as a presidential nominee because of his outdated centrist views. Bernie ensures her that the ultimate goal is to defeat Trump in the election, hence his endorsement. He's also hoping that he can work with Biden to instill more progressive ideas into his platform. Bernie Sanders Officially Endorses Joe Biden
After cleaning the way for Joe Biden to secure the Democratic nomination, Bernie Sanders has thrown his support behind the cause.
Despite running an impressive grassroots campaign that elevated senator Bernie Sanders to a bonafide fan-favorite, his progressive outlook was ultimately too bitter a pill to swallow. When he needed them most, the voters left him high and dry, paving the way for his eventual departure from the race. In doing so, he essentially paved the way for Joe Biden to clinch the Democratic nomination, much to the annoyance of those seeking a complete reshuffling of the deck.
In any case, the board has been set, and Biden is to be the man moving forward. Despite the growing concern as to whether he’ll be able to last twelve rounds with Donald Trump, concerns no doubt echoed within the Bernie camp during his own campaign, it would appear the old adage “if you can’t beat em, join em” has held true once again.

CNN reports that Senator Sanders has officially thrown his weight behind Biden’s presidential movement. “We need you in the White House. I will do all that I can to see that that happens, Joe,” says Sanders, whose favor was returned by Biden himself. “I think that your endorsement means a great deal,” Biden replied. “It means a great deal to me. I think people are going to be surprised that we are apart on some issues but we’re awfully close on a whole bunch of others. I’m going to need you — not just to win the campaign, but to govern.”
Prior to giving his endorsement, Sanders made sure to converse with Biden on a variety of topics, including the implementation of task forces covering climate, education, immigration, the economy, criminal justice, and health care. Whether Sanders’ words are enough to convince his die-hard followers to jump ship remains to be seen, but it’s certainly a start. The only question is — can Biden secure the victory against Donald Trump in 2020?
Cardi B Blames Lack of Young Voters For Bernie Sanders Dropping Out
Cardi B went after young people for not voting for Bernie Sanders after the Democratic candidate withdrew from the 2020 Presidential Race.
Cardi B took to Instagram live to vent about how upset she is that Bernie Sanders has dropped out of the 2020 Presidential Race, and she's pointing the finger at young folks for supposedly not showing out to vote for the former Democratic candidate. "I'm really upset at everybody, because as you guys know...Bernie dropped out of the race," Cardi told her roughly 125k viewers. "I'm guessing he dropped out because...he probably saw that he didn't have a good chance at winning, and the sh*t that get me mad about it is that I see a lot of young people on the Internet always lying."
"Y'all young motherf*ckers, I'm getting sick of y'all," she continued. "I'm about to start hanging out with my grandma's friends, because they vote. Y'all motherf*ckers don't vote, and that sh*t is getting me tight...I see all over Twitter, like, y'all love Bernie, but y'all wasn't voting! What the f*ck was up with that?" She goes on to point out that older people, who don't care as much about issues that affect young people such as affordable college tuition, are the ones who actually vote. "You know who be voting?" she says. "Older people. People that don't give a f*ck about going to college...those are the people that are voting...and because of that, that means Bernie is off the motherf*cking race."

As a vocal Bernie supporter in the past, Cardi is definitely disappointed that he is no longer in the running, but she urges her followers to still vote for the Democratic nominee on the ballot, Joe Biden, in order to avoid another Trump term. "I do not want 45 to be president again," she exclaimed. "Now y'all, this sh*t is very f*cking serious, and y'all not taking it motherf*cking serious. Right now, the state that America is in, we got no f*cking time to play around." Cardi goes on to discuss how the coronavirus pandemic (which she calls the "boronavirus") will ultimately affect the United States, and stresses how important it is that Trump is not going to be in charge to deal with the fallout. "B*tch we're about to enter a recession," she declares. "Do you really want 45 to be in charge of the recession?" She emphasizes how incapable Trump is of handling an economic collapse, and how little he cares about minorities. "It's time to buckle up."
Trump Praises Elizabeth Warren For Bernie Sanders Exit
Trump reacts to Bernie Sanders dropping out of the Democratic race while also finding time to troll Elizabeth Warren and AOC.
It was only a matter of time until Donald Trump reacted to news that Bernie Sanders had officially dropped out of the presidential race for the Democratic party. Following Bernie Sanders' address to America, President Trump hit his favorite platform in the world to share his strange and sarcastic reaction that included references to Elizabeth Warren and AOC.

"Bernie Sanders is OUT! Thank you to Elizabeth Warren. If not for her, Bernie would have won almost every state on Super Tuesday! This ended just like the Democrats & the DNC wanted, same as the Crooked Hillary fiasco. The Bernie people should come to the Republican Party, TRADE!" Trump wrote on Twitter.
During Bernie's address, he said that, despite dropping out of the race, he wanted to accumulate delegates. Trump, of course, publicly questioned this. He wasn't done, though. He took a moment to fire shots at Joe Biden as well as AOC, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley and Ilhan Omar, known as the "Squad."
"I can't see AOC plus 3 supporting Sleepy Joe," Trump added.
With Bernie now out of the race, former vice president Joe Biden is now in the lead to go against Donald Trump in the upcoming United States election.

Bernie Sanders Drops Out Of 2020 Presidential Race
Bernie Sanders has officially dropped out of the 2020 Presidential Election, leaving room for Joe Biden to represent the Democratic Party.
For the last two elections, Bernie Sanders has been hopeful that the American public relates to his campaign but, both times, he came up just short.
It is being reported that Bernie Sanders, one of the sole remaining Democratic candidates running against Joe Biden, has dropped out of the race to become President of the United States.
As reported by CNN, Bernie Sanders announced to his team that he would be dropping out of the race this morning, leaving room for Joe Biden and Donald Trump to face off later this year.

This announcement comes after a stunning turn for Sanders. After seeing tremendous support from the first three primaries in late February, that was reversed and Joe Biden became the clear favorite for the Democrats.
It will be interesting to note whether Sanders ends up endorsing Joe Biden as his choice for the next President. The two men did not agree on many important topics. Sanders was viewed as the "progressive" candidate of the bunch, and his supporters have lived with a "Bernie or Bust" mentality for eight years.
Do you think Joe Biden has a shot at defeating Donald Trump come election time or does Trump have this in the bag?
Joe Rogan Says He’d Vote Trump Over Biden, Goes Viral On Twitter
Joe Rogan remarks that he'd vote for Donald Trump over Joe Biden, sending Twitter into a frenzy.
Joe Rogan is trending on Twitter following a podcast with Eric Weinstein, where Rogan remarks that he'd rather vote for Donald Trump than Joe Biden.

“I’d rather vote for Trump than [Biden],” says Rogan. “I don’t think [Biden] can handle anything. You’re relying entirely on his cabinet. If you want to talk about an individual leader who can communicate, he can’t do that. And we don’t know what the fuck he’ll be like after a year in office.
“The pressure of being president of the United States is something that no one has ever prepared for. The only one who seems to be fine with it is Trump, oddly enough.”
Throughout the segment, Rogan and Weinstein speak about Biden's problematic mental health, which seems to be deteriorating as this campaign goes on. Many Dem-alignment Twitter users are using Rogan's quote to further the mainstream narrative that he's a conservative, while others are opining that Rogan is the exact type of swing-voter that the Dems need to win over, rather than alienate.
Rogan found himself trending for political reasons earlier this year when he endorsed Bernie Sanders for president. Traditional Dems labeled Rogan a bigot in response.

Chuck D Reveals Public Enemy Breakup With Flavor Flav Was Staged
Chuck D and Flavor Flav recently went at it online, but the entire thing was a ploy concocted by the Public Enemy stars.
Public Enemy has been making headlines for less than favorable news as of late. The iconic rap group was reportedly at odds over a performance that was to be held at a Bernie Sanders rally. After it was announced that Public Enemy would be taking to the stage, Flavor Flav came forward to denounce the show. A war of words between members Chuck D and Flav ensued, and news was shared that Flav was no longer in the group.

The exchange between the longtime friends and collaborators came off as bizarre to fans who couldn’t believe that they were breaking down, but Chuck D told People’s Party with Talib Kweli that it was all staged to prove a point. “The murder of Pop Smoke, man, to see that, it was like the flashback to Nipsey Hussle last year,” Chuck D said. “It got to be like, do rappers need to be killed to get noticed in hip hop? And this whole thing of bad news is the news and making people like—my daughter Dominique, who runs my company, she’s often like, ‘Dad, that’s not a good look.’ And I’m like when the f*ck does the good look get acknowledged because the bad look got an elevator and a rocket to it.”
So, because Flavor Flav has been taking a few hits in the media lately and his “stock was low”, they concocted a storyline that would grab the attention of the masses. “Flav doesn’t know the difference between Bernie Sanders, Barry Sanders, or Colonel Sanders. He don’t give a f*ck,” Chuck D joked. He explained how they came up with the plan behind the scenes. “I’m not saying it’s a hoax. I’m saying the original intention was to get your attention and not play attention, get you to pay attention.”
Flav can’t be fired, anyway, because Chuck says “he’s a partner.” Listen to Chuck D speak about the importance of Flav in Public Enemy and explain his plot below.
Charlamagne Tha God Blasts Joe Biden For Rejecting "The Breakfast Club"
Charlamagne Tha God has interviewed plenty of other Democratic candidates, but Joe Biden’s camp reportedly won’t allow him to visit “The Breakfast Club.”
There have been plenty of Democratic candidate hopefuls who have made appearances on The Breakfast Club. Prior to this becoming a run-off between Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden, The Breakfast Club welcomed interviews from Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, and Kamala Harris. However, the radio show’s attempts to get the former Vice President of the United States have been rejected.

Charlamagne Tha God talked about the 2020 Presidential Election with MSNBC’s Craig Melvin and chatted about what The Breakfast Club audience expects from candidates in the upcoming election. During the discussion, Charlamagne was asked about his previous comments regarding Joe Biden avoiding an interview with him and why he thought that was an issue.
“I really have no idea,” Charlamagne said. “Joe Biden owes black people his political life, you know what I’m saying? So don’t disrespect that base by not showing up, especially when all of your other former opponents did. But I definitely got it on great authority that a lot of the black surrogates around him don’t want him to come to The Breakfast Club.“
Charlamagne added that last year Biden’s campaign did attempt to send a black representative to The Breakfast Club in Biden’s place, but they weren’t having it. “That’s what I felt was disrespectful last year. He wanted to send one of his surrogates, I think the brother’s name was Cedric, I don’t remember Cedric’s last name,” Charlamagne added. “I was like, no. That’s kinda wack if all the other candidates went on themselves and you want to send a surrogate. Who do you think you are?”

Kamala Harris Joins DNC Push & Backs Joe Biden
Biden gains more allies.
After the man who was projected to lead the DNC in November had a slow start, he is back where everyone expected him to be. Joe Biden entered the Democratic race for the presidential nomination as a favorite, but a slow start in New Hampshire, Nevada, and Iowa almost doomed his campaign. Lo and behold, Biden captured South Carolina off the strength of Black voters, and rebounded during Super Tuesday to steal the lead back from Bernie Sanders. Biden was able to pick up momentum due to Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, and Tom Steyer backing out the race and endorsing him. Now, another DNC candidate is putting their endorsement behind the former Vice President.
"There is no one better prepared than Joe to steer our nation through these turbulent times, and restore truth, honor, and decency to the Oval Office," Kamala Harris said in a statement on Sunday. "He is kind and endlessly caring, and he truly listens to the American people." Kamala is the latest, after Mike Bloomberg, to throw her support behind Biden just months after she attacked him on the debate stage for being insensitive to Black issues. With the DNC seemingly forming around Biden, does Bernie stand a chance of winning the nomination?
Killer Mike Likens Bernie Sanders To Martin Luther King Jr. & Gets Slammed Online
Killer Mike further backed his statement.
Killer Mike has been advocating for Bernie Sanders for years now. The rapper is intelligent and well-spoken, but sometimes his statements miss the mark. That's what happened this past weekend when Killer Mike compared the struggles of Martin Luther King Jr. to those of Democratic presidential nominee hopeful Bernie Sanders. The entire debacle started when Killer Mike responded to a tweet by author and Hillary Clinton supporter Zachary Wood. Wood himself was responding to a tweet by Bernie where Mr. Sanders asked the youth to get out and vote. "There’s just something about you, @BernieSanders, that pisses me off," Wood wrote.
Once he saw Wood's response, Killer Mike hit back with a screenshot of an article titled, "Even Though He Is Revered Today, MLK Was Widely Disliked by the American Public When He Was Killed." Essentially, the rapper was comparing hatred for Sanders to the anger and animosity that MLK faced while he was alive. Mike continued on to write, "Your tweet better help. Me understand I’m on the correct side of history. Thank U." Killer Mike's response received many confused and angry replies.
