Maybe Ludacris should have left this one in the drafts. During the rapper's rollercoaster ride of a Verzuz battle with fellow 2000s hip hop heavyweight, Nelly, on Saturday (May 17th), most viewers couldn't help but joke about the technical difficulties that Luda's opponent was facing, as his Internet connection posed a quality problem on his end throughout the majority of the evening.
Between Nelly's blurry, pixelated dancing and his questionable song choices, there was plenty to focus on, but one unexpected detail of the night that rubbed people the wrong way occurred early on while Ludacris was waiting for Nelly to reconnect on live. Luda decided to keep viewers entertained by previewing an unreleased song featuring Lil Wayne and produced by Verzuz co-founder, Timbaland, playing a lengthy snippet of the track three times in a row. The song, titled, "Silence of the Lambs," opens with a mention of Cosby: "the world screwed if n*ggas pouring drinks like Bill Huxtable." In the next line, Ludacris declares, "I love R. Kelly but around my daughters, I'm not comfortable."
The lyrics, especially the questionable sentiment about Kelly, caused an uproar on social media.
Boosie Badazz Calls For Bill Cosby’s Freedom In 6ix9ine Rant
Boosie Badazz says that the court is being racist against Bill Cosby’s money (uh…) in a heated new rant.
In the latest installment of Boosie Badazz‘ interview residency with VladTV, the Baton Rouge legend went off about how Tekashi 6ix9ine is out of prison while Bill Cosby is still there.
Speaking with Vlad about 6ix9ine’s early release because of the coronavirus, Boosie argued that Bill Cosby should also be free.
“I’m pissed off. I don’t give a fuck who don’t like it,” says the rapper after the host points out that Cosby is still locked up. The disgraced comedian has been accused by dozens of women of sexual assault over the years.

“Quaaludes was like X pills back in the day, everybody was taking them bitches. Everybody was taking ’em! Bitch, you knew what you was taking. Free Bill Cosby,” yells Boosie, suggesting that the victims are to blame.
“80-something years old and you let a rat out of jail,” he adds, referring to Tekashi 6ix9ine. “You let a rat out of jail, man! This man got a couple years and you not gon’ let him out of jail with the corona goin’ on. That’s racist. That’s racist towards his money and everything he done worked for! You letting all these motherfuckers out but you won’t let an 80-something-year-old man out? That’s fucking racist!”
In the same interview, he speaks about the Nine Trey Blood gang and how they should retaliate against 6ix9ine.

Bill Cosby Wouldn’t Survive COVID-19 In Prison, Rep Argues
Bill Cosby’s people continue to fight for his freedom as many questions the prison system’s ability to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
There have been many questions about how the prison system will be able to facilitate inmates and provide them with sanitary facilities while trying to slow down the spread of coronavirus. However, many inmates have been fighting to be released on home confinement. We’ve seen 6ix9ine successfully be released from prison and Billy McFarland has pled with the government to receive similar treatment.

Bill Cosby, however, isn’t seeing any success in his attempts to get out of prison. Andrew V. Wyatt, Cosby’s spokesperson, issues a statement to NBC News saying that his client would not be able to survive coronavirus if he were to contract the virus from behind bars. Cosby’s not only 82-years-old, making him part of the vulnerable group susceptible to dying from the virus, but he also has pre-existing conditions. The embattled comedian takes medication for high blood pressure, has partially blocked arteries, suffers from glaucoma, and recently underwent two major surgeries to prevent cardiovascular failure.
“We are asking Governor Wolf to amend his executive order and grant Mr. Cosby Compassionate Relief based on his current medical status,” Wyatt said. “Mr. Cosby was not given a life sentence nor a death sentence.”
Gov. Wolf previously ordered to have certain inmates transferred to home confinement or other correctional facilities, though Cosby was not among those on the list.
Bill Cosby Ineligible For Temporary Prison Release
Though the Pennsylvania Governor has granted certain inmates temporary release due to coronavirus, Bill Cosby has been deemed ineligible.
While the coronavirus has been wreaking havoc on a global scale, impacting damn near everybody with varying degrees of severity, many American prisons have been hit particularly hard. It got so bad that Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf ordered the temporary release of inmates amidst the pandemic, provided the following criteria are met:
“[Inmates must be] non-violent and who otherwise would be eligible for release within the next 9 months or who are considered at high risk for complications of coronavirus and are within 12 months of their release.”

Despite his attempts to benefit from the order, Bill Cosby bid for temporary release has been officially rejected given that he was arrested for a crime of violent nature. A report from Deadline cites the District Attorney’s response, which confirms that “Mr. Cosby is not eligible under Gov. Wolf’s order since he was convicted of a violent offense (aggravated indecent assault) and was determined to be a Sexually Violent Predator.”
In response to the denial, Cosby’s publicist Andrew Wyatt acknowledged the nature of the crimes, but argued that other factors made his client a higher risk for the possibly-fatal virus. “With the surge of the COVID-19 plague and its effects on the health of the elderly, people of color and the fact that Mr. Cosby doesn’t have the luxury of social distancing (due to his blindness),” he reasons. “Makes him a candidate to be release and remanded to house arrest.”
At this point, Cosby and his team are waiting to see how Governor Wolf’s order plays out; should they feel the move is warranted, they may consider filing an appeal.
Tiny Believes Bill Cosby Should Be Released From Prison Amid COVID-19
Tiny and her best friend Shekinah Jo chatted about the prospect of Bill Cosby being released from prison due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Weeks ago, news surfaced that Bill Cosby and his lawyers planned on filing paperwork in hopes of getting the imprisoned entertainer released. During this COVID-19 pandemic, it’s reported that many states and counties are trying to figure out the best method to handle coronavirus as it pertains to inmates. We recently witnessed Tekashi 6ix9ine return home to serve out the remainder of his sentence, and Bill Cosby hopes to do the same.

This hot topic has been talked about extensively, but recently Tameka “Tiny” Harris added to the conversation. She once again linked up with her best friend Shekinah Jo for their online series The Tiny Jo Show and sparked a bit of controversy. Tiny said that when it comes to Bill Cosby possibly getting out of prison, she “f*cking [loves] it.” She added, “No disrespect to the women that were involved, I just feel like Bill is older, and he’s been in there doing his time. I don’t know how much time he did. Has he done two years yet?” Shekinah didn’t answer the question, but she did passionately share her thoughts.
“I think it’s f*cked up that you women did that to Bill,” Shekinah Jo stated. “‘’Cause nine times out of ten, real talk, y’all was trying to f*ck y’all way to to the top. And what end up happening, I guess that p*ssy didn’t get where it was supposed to went.” Tiny interrupted and vocalized her disapproval over Shekinah’s statements, but her friend wasn’t budging.
“I don’t think you should do that. That’s not fair,” Tiny said. “We know that goes on, but that’s not fair to do to the victims because we don’t really know they story.” Both ladies faced an onslaught of backlash, so check out The Tiny Jo Show below and let us know if you agree with what they had to say about Bill Cosby.
Bill Cosby Wants Out Of Jail Due To Coronavirus Pandemic: Report
Bill Cosby doesn’t want to be locked up in jail while Coronavirus is having a field day.
Bill Cosby’s lawyers are gearing up to file a motion to get the de-famed comedian and actor released from jail and put on house arrest, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Apparently, one of the prison guards where Cosby is holed up tested positive for Coronavirus, thus prompting the motion.
Cosby is currently serving three to ten years behind bars at SCI Phoenix in Montgomery County, after being charged for sexual assault, stemming from years of sexual abuse on unsuspecting women. The latest report on the 82-year old comes a New York Post exclusive, confirming that Cosby’s attorneys will file the petition in Pennsylvania Superior Court within the next few days.

Cosby’s spokesperson, Andrew Wyatt, echoed this sentiment by stating: “We believe it is only a matter of time before Mr. Cosby’s prison likely falls victim to the virus, such a confined space is the perfect place for a virus to spread rapidly, it is hazardous to the prison staff and vulnerable inmates.”
As we reported, another disgraced movie icon, Harvey Weinstein, tested positive for the Coronavirus while locked up in Riker’s Island. Cosby has previously been vocal in his support of Weinstein.
Bill Cosby Issues Statement After Harvey Weinstein’s Verdict
Bill Cosby condemns the justice system in wake of Harvey Weinstein’s guilty verdict.
Bill Cosby’s publicist, Bill Wyatt, has issued a statement on the embattled comedian’s behalf in support of Harvey Weinstein after the jury found him guilty of rape. Wyatt bashed the system itself, along with the #MeToo movement, while appearing to suggest that Weinstein’s either innocent or at the very least, received an unfair trial.

Based on Cosby’s case, Wyatt claimed that much of this case was influenced by public opinion, rather than facts. “This is not shocking because these jurors were not sequestered, which gave them access to media coverage and the sentiments of public opinion,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “There’s no way you would have anyone believe that Mr. Weinstein was going to receive a fair and impartial trial. Also, this judge showed that he wanted a conviction by sending the jurors back to deliberate, after they were hung on many of the counts.”
He added, “Here’s the question that should haunt all Americans, especially wealthy and famous men…Where do we go in this country to find fairness and impartiality in the judicial system; and where do we go in this country to find Due Process?”
Finally, Cosby’s rep made sure to fire aim at “Becky” as well as the rest of the #MeToo movement.
“Lastly, if the #metoo movement isn’t just about Becky [White women], I would challenge #metoo and ask them to go back 400+ years and tarnish the names of those oppressors that raped slaves. This is a very sad day in the American Judicial System,” Wyatt said before signing off with #FreeCosby and calling for criminal justice reform.
Harvey Weinstein was found guilty of third-degree rape and criminal sexual assault but he did get acquitted of the more serious charges against him including first degree rape.
Susan Rice Tells Snoop Dogg To Back "The F**k Off" Gayle King
Susan Rice weighs in on the Snoop Dogg and Gayle King drama.
Former U.S. National Security Adviser Susan Rice is coming after Snoop Dogg for attacking Gayle King.
"This is despicable. Gayle King is one of the most principled, fair and tough journalists alive. Snoop, back the **** off. You come for @GayleKing, you come against an army. You will lose, and it won’t be pretty," Rice wrote on Twitter Friday night, as pointed out by XXL.
King is referring to a video posted by Snoop Dogg where he verbally attacks Gayle King for questioning Kobe Bryant's rape allegations.
"Gayle King–out of pocket for that shit. Way out of pocket! What do you gain from that? I swear to God we the worst. We the fucking worst. We expect more from you, Gayle. Don't you hang out with Oprah? Why y'all attacking us? We your people. You ain't come after fucking Harvey Weinstein asking them dumb ass questions. I get sick of y'all.
"I wanna call you one. Is it okay if I call her one?" Snoop asks before berating King further. "Funky dog head bitch! How dare you try to tarnish my muthafuckin' homeboy's reputation, punk muthafucka? Respect the family and back off, bitch, before we come get you!"
Snoop Dogg has also come under fire for defending Bill Cosby.
Bill Cosby’s Wife Chastises "Parasitic & Cruel" Media For Kobe Bryant Scandal Questions
She also calls them out for trying to destroy the legacies of black men.
It’s been a strange few days in regards to comments involving Bill Cosby. The incarcerated 82-year-old icon is serving his three to 10-year sentence behind bars after being convicted of three counts of aggravated indecent assault. The accusations against him are polarizing as some believe that the comedy actor was targeted by dozens of women who accused him of sexual assault.

This week, Gayle King became a target after a clip of her interview with WNBA legend Lisa Leslie went viral. In the video, King presses Leslie about the late Kobe Bryant and the 2003 allegations of rape made against him. After the clip circulated, many celebrities came forward to condemn King, including Snoop Dogg who called the news reporter a “funky dog face b*tch.” Snoop also called for a freeing of Cosby, and the actor later took to his Instagram to thank the rapper for his support.
Snoop, too, would find himself on the receiving end of backlash on Friday (February 7), but Camille Cosby wanted the last word. Bill Cosby’s wife of 56 years shared a message on her husband’s Instagram account that called out people who she claims are trying to take down black men. She also said that the media is aiming to overshadow Kobe’s “celebrated history” with “parasitic and cruel” attempts to bring up his past. Read her message in full below.
Camille Cosby Responds To Unwarranted & Relentless Attacks That Media & Their Cohorts Have Brought To Kobe Bryant’s Family…She Offers Her Support, Prayers & Love To Kobe’s Wife, Children & Family… “History repeats itself again, again and multiple, more agains. The relentless, stereotypical portrayals of people of color… and I will specify African American men for the purpose of this statement…and the ever-present, unproven accusations of Black men as sexually dent, brutal black bucks, are repetitive obsessions in most general media. Their messengers are all too enthusiastically ready to disseminate the particular horrific, racist imageries; that are forever the demonizations of Black men. The media’s current attempts to supersede Mr. Kobe Bryant’s celebrated history with an old case that was unproven and dismissed is downright parasitic and cruel… and the media’s numerous messengers are participants in that deplorable behavior and disrespect for Mr. Bryant’s wife children and family. Anyone who has suddenly lost a spouse, child or a loved one, intensely knows the emotional, penetrating traumas of that kind of shock. I certainly do.” Camille Cosby
Jemele Hill Pushes Back Against Snoop Dogg’s Support Of Bill Cosby
Jemele Hill speaks against Snoop's support of Bill Cosby.
Bill Cosby's sentencing shifted the narrative surrounding the now-disgraced comedian. America's Dad went from being one of the most championed figured in entertainment to a convicted sex offender. In the world of hip-hop, many artists that represented a culture Cosby was vehemently against championed him in wake of the #MeToo movement. Snoop Dogg has been among those who've called for Cosby's freedom.
Following the backlash surrounding Gayle King's interview with Lisa Leslie, Snoop Dogg called her out on claims that she was putting down her own people while calling for Bill's freedom. Even though Bill Cosby gave Snoop Dogg a nod of approval for standing up for him, Jemele Hill reminded Snoop of Bill's victims including the account made by Beverly Johnson. She also reminded Snoop of Cosby's previous disparaging stance on rappers and Black men who listen to rap.
"I love you bro, but please remember that Bill Cosby also victimized black women. Beverly Johnson, the first black supermodel, wrote a compelling account of how Bill Cosby drugged her and tried to rape her. This also was the same dude telling people that black men didn’t deserve any respect because they wore their pants too low, and listened to hip hop. I’m glad he was able to present a positive picture of a black Dad, but he also was very anti-black in other parts of his life," she wrote.
