There's been a bit of beefing in the rap game recently, courtesy of French Montana and Young Thug. Earlier this week, the pair of rappers surfaced online trading insults on social media, a beef that reportedly began sometime in August 2019. While things have been pretty quiet between the two as of late, Real 92.3's Bootleg Kev chatted with Wiz Khalifa to get his thoughts on the recent drama between the two rappers.

Bootleg Kev noted that Wiz Khalifa manages to be an artist that never had problems with anyone. "The only thing was like, that little argument that Kanye had with himself, but that was probably it," the rapper recalled. Back in 2016, Kanye unleashed a barrage of savage insults involving Wiz, Amber Rose, their son Sebastian, and much more. Back then he didn't respond, at least not publicly, to Ye's rant, and he's continued to choose a path of positivity.
"I feel like, times like this, nobody really needs to be beefing," said Wiz. "Everybody needs to come together, figure out how we can use each other, and help each other. Feed each other's families, man. 'Cause people are missing out on shows and people missing events and people's businesses are closing. I'm sure [French Montana and Young Thug] got families. Their mom don't care about their beef with each other. They worried about they house right now. They worried about they groceries. They worried about siblings going to school. It might sound corny but you get to a certain age where that's way more important than beefing with some n*gga on the internet."
"And I know both of them fools, I got love for both of them fools," Wiz Khalifa added. "But at the end of the day, they gonna do what they gonna do. We all go families to feed and we need to be more focused on helping each other out." Watch his clip below.

Lil Mosey Emphatically Shuts Down 6ix9ine
Lil Mosey has no interest in working with Tekashi 6ix9ine on new music.
Who will be the first person to bite the bullet and work with Tekashi 6ix9ine for the clout? One thing is for sure: it will not be Lil Mosey.
The Seattle rapper is currently enjoying the success of his single “Blueberry Faygo” and, like the rest of us, he’s watching this 6ix9ine nonsense unravel from the sidelines. The hitmaker has no interest in actually working with the rainbow-haired informant though, revealing to Bootleg Kev that he would not get in the studio with 6ix9ine for a “Blueberry Faygo” remix or anything else.
“Nah, you ain’t see me around that bitch,” said Lil Mosey about Tekashi 6ix9ine. “Nah. Fuck no. If I snitched, no one would fuck with me. That shit dead regardless, fuck that n***a.”
Jerod Harris/Getty ImagesThe 18-year-old rising star insists that it’s not his place to comment on the rapper, but that with his morals, he would not be interested in collaborating with 6ix9ine anytime soon.
Tekashi 6ix9ine was recently released from prison and ordered to finish his sentence on home confinement. He is currently working on two albums while on house arrest. One album will be in English and the other will be Spanish.
Who do you think will be the first rapper to work with 6ix9ine post-release?
Blueface Clarifies Telling Rappers To "Check In" When Coming To L.A.
Blueface recently caught heat over comments he made online following Pop Smoke’s murder in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles.
Weeks after Pop Smoke was murdered in an affluent area of Los Angeles, there are still many questions circulating about his death. The rapper had just released Meet The Woo 2 and was in a Hollywood Hills residence when he was shot and killed during a home invasion. Following the tragic news, Blueface came forward with a bit of advice for artists who make their way to L.A. Some people thought he was telling rappers to “check in” with streets prior to landing, but in an interview with Bootleg Kev, Blueface stated that wasn’t what he was saying at all.
Frazer Harrison / Staff / Getty Images“The way they took what I was saying like, go find your local hood that’s affiliated with what you—honestly, that’s the last thing I’m promoting,” said Blueface. “If anything, go find you a regular, square that’s got maybe a gun license or permit or even a security guard or even a friend of a friend that can pull up and provide you with the utensils that you need to defend yourself.”
He doubled down that he wasn’t telling rappers who come to Los Angeles to contact gang leaders in order to get permission to move around the city. “That’s the last thing you should do,” the rapper added. “They gonna extort you! F*ck that. We ain’t payin’ nobody sh*t.” Bootleg Kev said he thinks that people need to keep their guard up more than getting the “artillery” they need. “They see the palm trees, they’re in the hills,” and they get distracted.
Blueface added, “They don’t know that the ‘hood is a 20-minute drive. They coming, for sure.” Watch Blueface with Bootleg Kev on Real 92.3 below.
