Anthony Joshua has held the majority of the heavyweight title belts for a while now and there was always a sense that he would be able to compete for the undisputed title once Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder figured out their feud. Of course, Fury decimated Wilder the last time the two stepped into the ring and Joshua was foaming at the mouth for a chance to beat his fellow countryman. Well, according to promoter Eddie Hearn, Joshua and Wilder have worked out a two-fight deal that would come into effect in 2021.
The only issue is that Fury needs to fight Wilder for the third time and he is also scheduled to battle Dillian Whyte. Regardless, the consensus is that Fury will be able to get those jobs done, which will set up his unified fight with Joshua.
This fight will certainly be a treat for boxing fans as it is something they have been waiting for, for a long time. Many believed it would be Wilder who would defeat Fury and face Joshua but, of course, things just didn't work out that way. Either way, this is a huge development for the boxing world and can only mean good things moving forward for the heavyweight division.

Ryan Garcia Claps Back At Gervonta Davis Over $200K Tease: "You Hit [Women]"
Ryan Garcia complained of only being offered $200K for a fight, and Gervonta Davis made fun of him.
Things got a little heated over on Twitter today (June 9) between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis. Boxer Ryan Garcia has had a growing frustration with Golden Boy and streaming service DAZN over how things have been moving behind the scenes. Garcia has been sharing that he's secured his next fight date a for July 4, however, Golden Boy still hasn't mustered up an opponent in this post-COVID-19 lockdown era. Sports Illustrated reports that the July date is now a thing of the past, and Garcia has lamented that he's not being compensated financially the way he deserves.

“That’s bullsh*t,” Garcia said of his $200K offer to fight. “Why am I being held back financially? What is the problem here? Why is DAZN giving out big numbers to guys fighting nobodies? It’s f*cked up how I’m being treated. I’m not asking for $100 million. Just give me the check I deserve. How am I one of the biggest fighters in the world and I get bigger paychecks outside of boxing?”
Gervonta Davis saw a tweet about the above quote by Garcia and poked fun at his fellow boxer. "???????? 200k?????? He need that money back from him buying that Ferrari...stop trying to keep up broke boy! ???." Ryan Garcia clapped back at Davis by replying, "Yeah I get endorsement deals outside of boxing, something you don’t know about bc you hit woman."
Garcia was bringing up the recent charges made against Davis following a recorded incident that showed the boxer man-handling his ex. "And it still don’t add up what I’m getting paid...Mr ✌????? uh occasion," Davis responded. Check it out below.
Drake Responds To YK Osiris’ Request For A Boxing Match
YK Osiris asked Drake to pull up for a boxing match before stepping back and rescinding the offer out of fear.
YK Osiris has been asking for the smoke with all of your favorite rappers. He’s gone the distance with Lil Tjay, Blueface, and others. He’s also challenged Trippie Redd to a duel. He even slid into Drake‘s DMs with a request to get in the makeshift ring, quickly stepping back his offer and earning a response all the same.
The self-proclaimed King of R&B asked Drake to come through for a battle to see who has the toughest hands. YK Osiris has been displaying his questionable boxing skills on social media for weeks and this was his biggest ask to date. Considering the fact that Drake has shouted out Osiris in the past, it’s not too surprising to see that he responded to the 21-year-old.
“I’m trynna box u now,” wrote the Young King to Drake. He quickly went back on the offer though.
“I’m jp u gonna beat df out of me,” joked the upstart.
Drake came through with his official response, agreeing that YK Osiris would have no chance against him.
“Least u know your limits,” said Drake with multiple laughing faces.
Drake has been training his skills in the ring, showing off some ferocious punches in his workout videos. YK Osiris may think that he’s got a shot against the rapper but Drake is probably right in thinking he’d get knocked out.
Floyd Mayweather Goes After Conor McGregor For Retiring
Floyd Mayweather doesn’t seem too enthused about Conor McGregor’s decision to retire from fighting.
Conor McGregor shocked UFC fans over the weekend when he announced that he would be retiring from the sport. McGregor has retired three times over the last four years and every single time, he ends up coming right back to the Octagon. With this in mind, many are skeptical of McGregor’s announcement although at least for now, they are taking it seriously.
McGregor had been teasing numerous fights and now it looks like they are all being abandoned. One of the fights people were excited about was a boxing rematch with the likes of Floyd Mayweather. As you can imagine, Mayweather was quick to find out about McGregor’s retirement and immediately took to Conor’s IG page to take some shots. Floyd pointed out that McGregor was talking a big game and now, he is simply throwing it all away.
Per Mayweather:
“If I’m not mistaken, didn’t you tell Mike Tyson you could beat me if we fought a second time? Now you’re quitting! I thought you wanted to beat the best? Well, if you decide to come back, I will be waiting to punish you again.”
Based on this comment, it seems as though Mayweather is truly upset about having to miss out on a rematch with McGregor. However, if McGregor decides to come back, now we know a rematch is certainly in the cards. Not to mention, the trash-talking will lead to some great promotion.
Lil Uzi Vert & YK Osiris Trade Verbal Shots About Potential Boxing Match
Lil Uzi Vert wants to go toe-to-toe with YK Osiris, but the R&B singer says Uzi is “too little for me.”
We’re not sure what’s been prompting rappers to square off lately, but it’s becoming a rising trend. The quarantine is pretty much over as protesters have taken to the streets to advocate Black Lives Matter efforts, and it looks like the first thing that rappers have on their plates is boxing one another. We recently watched clips of YK Osiris and Lil Tjay throw fisticuffs, then there was a challenge being through Trippie Redd’s way followed by Osiris and Blueface going head-to-head.
Good friends DJ Akademiks and Tekashi 6ix9ine linked up for an Instagram Live chat, but during their bonding session, they tossed on the gloves and threw some light-hearted punches. It looks as if Lil Uzi Vert wants in on all of the action, because Akademiks posted a declaration from the Eternal Atake artist. He has his eyes set on YK Osiris, but the R&B singer responded saying Uzi is too small for him to fight.
“Stop it Uzi,” YK Osiris said. “You too little, my brother!… This man too little for me, man. Man, you my son.” Osiris then started asking his friends how much he should bet on a fight with Lil Uzi Vert. “A hundred thousand? That’s nothing. I spend that on a light Monday… I put these paws on you so badly bruh, everybody that got they money on you, everybody gonna lose they money.”
Still, Uzi said in a video clip that people know how he gets down when it comes to fighting, so check these two out below.
6ix9ine Reunites With Akademiks For Cringe Boxing Fight & Pop Smoke Praise
Tekashi 6ix9ine returned to Instagram Live with DJ Akademiks, mimicking the low-tier boxing matches we've seen from YK Osiris and marking a return of the fantastic duo.
The world is in peril and, doing the right thing, Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6ix9inepushed back his new music release another week. Now is not the time to be dropping, unless you're speaking on what's happening during the protests.
As we continue to fight for change and an end to systemic racism and police violence, Tekashi 6ix9ine decided that the next best thing to do was to provide people entertainment as only he knows how: by trolling and getting back together with DJ Akademiks.
The rapper teamed up with his good buddy for a 45-minute live-stream, where they discussed everything from Blueface's one-hit-wonder status, Trippie Redd and his ex-girlfriend, their love for the late Pop Smoke, and more. They even mimicked YK Osiris' cringe-worthy boxing skills by facing off against each other and earning tons of face-palm emojis in the comments.
"Who’s behind this ridiculousness?" asked Royce Da 5'9", reposting a video of their bout.
One of the high points from the Live session -- if you can believe that there were any -- came when Tekashi spoke about fellow Brooklyn talent Pop Smoke.
"I'm actually a fan of the kid," he says. "Rest in peace, Pop Smoke. Listen, they shouldn't have done that. That was a great talent from New York City. And I think, to be honest with you, he was the fresh New York City."
Check out some highlights below.

Blueface Seemingly Beats YK Osiris In Cringe-Worthy Boxing Match
YK Osiris may have finally met his match in the boxing ring, possibly taking a loss to Blueface, who had home-field advantage.
Blueface may have had the home-field advantage but he ran with the momentum, seemingly handing YK Osiris an L in the boxing ring.
Young King Osiris has been kindly requesting the smoke with a bunch of your favorite rappers, including Trippie Redd, Lil Tjay, and more, as they square up to determine who the toughest in-ring competitor is. The “Worth It” singer has been going around for the last couple of weeks, trash-talking his way to a boxing championship, but it looks like he’s finally met his match with Blueface.
Taking a trip to the rapper’s Los Angeles pad, YK Osiris and Blueface squared up on the Cash Money West artist’s football field, throwing hands and displaying some ridiculous form. Neither one of these stars would likely make it against a trained fighter but that isn’t necessarily the goal. Of the two, Blueface may have had the upper-hand, appearing to land more punches and controlling the pace of the bout.
On his own post, Osiris asked the fans to decide who won but, even though he was sending the message to his fans, they pretty much unanimously agreed that they’re both trash.
Who do you want to see YK Osiris go up against next? BlocBoy JB seems down to go up against either of them.
6ix9ine Displays Questionable Boxing Technique In New Video
Tekashi 6ix9ine appears to be training in light of all these rapper boxing matches.
Quarantine has made everyone loopy these past few weeks and it is clear that society is ready to start going back into the fresh air and interacting with one another. Many have already begun integrating themselves back into the world, even if social distancing restrictions have yet to be lifted. Regardless, it looks like we’re all ready to enjoy our respective summers and some of these rappers are looking to get in on the fun with some friendly boxing matches. For instance, Lil Tjay and YK Osiris recently squared up while Trippie Redd was supposed to battle Osiris on IG Live tonight.
Trippie Redd eventually decided to bow out of the fight although it seems like his arch-nemesis Tekashi 6ix9ine is gearing up for a career in boxing of his own. In the clip below, 6ix9ine can be seen dawning gloves as he spars with his girlfriend Jade who is covered in pillows as a means to protect her. 6ix9ine displays some of the worst foot-work we have ever seen although we’re pretty that’s the whole point considering his troll aesthetic.
Let us know in the comments below who you think he should fight. Considering the circumstances, the venue would probably have to be his basement.
Tory Lanez Destroys YK Osiris & Lil Tjay’s Boxing Match, Trippie Redd Calls Next
Tory Lanez will surely have a close eye on YK Osiris’ upcoming boxing match with Trippie Redd.
YK Osiris and Lil Tjay engaged in a friendly boxing match this week, leading the self-proclaimed King of R&B to challenge any and all rappers to the smoke.
“I’m trynna get busy y’all tag your favorite that y’all think can whoop me,” said Osiris on Instagram. A few suitors stepped up, including Polo G, who was apparently more interested in facing off in a game of pick-up basketball.
After a while, the original fight caught the eye of Tory Lanez, who was ridiculously unimpressed with the technique from YK Osiris and Lil Tjay.
“Y’all n***as footwork is horrific lmaooo,” he commented. YK offered to fight him the next day, but it seems as though the Toronto native has different plans.
One man that is interested in engaging in a friendly bout with YK Osiris is Trippie Redd, though. The man accepted his challenge, planning a date and time for their face-off.
“Put your money where y’all mouth is ‼️ who y’all betting with. I’m about to tear this man up,” wrote YK on the ‘gram. In his comments, an overwhelming number of people are going for Trippie Redd.
The fight is set to take place tonight. Who are you putting money on?
Lil Tjay & YK Osiris Square Up In Friendly Boxing Match, 6ix9ine Pokes Fun
Lil Tjay and YK Osiris put on the gloves and engaged in a friendly boxing match and Tekashi 6ix9ine couldn’t help but comment.
There were hands being thrown between Lil Tjay and YK Osiris, but it seemed that it was a friendly bout of boxing. It’s unclear what brought on the rapper and R&B singer taking to putting on gloves and showing off their skills, but Akademiks shared videos of the two entertainers in action. In one clip, the pair are sparing and displaying their fancy footwork, but another video shows YK Osiris on the ground.
Instagram users interpreted the latter clip as Osiris being knocked out, but over on his Instagram story, the singer insisted that wasn’t the case. After bragging about his fisticuffs, YK Osiris told the world that he’s swift with his moves and would never get taken out. There were plenty of people who had something to say about this fight, including Tekashi 6ix9ine who crept into Akademiks’s comments.
“Not by an R&b singer ???,” 6ix9ine wrote. His comment may have been a job at Tjay who recently got on Instagram Live to say that anyone who defended 6ix9ine needed to “get outta the culture.” You can take a look at Lil Tjay and YK Osiris’s friendly fight below and let us know who you’d be placing bets on.
