Britney Spears has been keeping busy during quarantine, staying fit through her at-home workouts but, in her latest exercise journal, she admitted that she accidentally set her gym on fire last year.
The legendary pop star has been uploading videos of herself working out and practicing yoga in her yard for months and, finally, it was revealed that she's been working out outdoors so often because her home gym was basically destroyed after a fire broke out six months ago.
"Hi guys, I'm in my gym right now. I haven't been in here for like six months because I burned my gym down," said Spears in the most casual way possible. Clearly, she's not all too bothered about it.

"I had two candles and, yeah, one thing led to another and I burned it down. So, I'm in here and I only have two pieces of equipment left," she added before filming her routine.
This entire admission happened in the first ten seconds of her video as she spoke rapidly about what happened, not paying the fire any mind. In her caption, she clarifies that it was an accident, in case anybody thought otherwise.
"It was an accident ….but yes …. I burnt it down," she wrote. " I walked past the door to the gym and flames. BOOM !!!!!! By the Grace of God the alarm went off after that and yippy hoorah nobody got hurt."

Justin Timberlake Responds To Ex Britney Spears’ IG Shoutout
Justin Timberlake had a laugh about his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears dancing to his song "Filthy" and bringing up their infamous breakup on Instagram.
It looks like there's no hard feelings between Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears anymore since the couple split almost 20 years ago. Although there have been many notorious celebrity breakups, few were quite as huge as Brit and JT's back in 2002. At the time, they were two of the biggest popstars in the industry, and their split even served as the catalyst for one the first breakout hits of Justin's post-NSYNC* solo career, "Cry Me A River." While things may have been messy back then, the former couple made it clear that it's all good between them these days, after Justin responded to Britney praising him on social media.

On Wednesday, Britney posted a video of herself goofing around to her former boo's song, "Filthy," indicating that it was her version of a TikTok dance "or whatever the cool thing you're supposed to do these days." She made sure to acknowledge the artist that was playing, though, writing, "I know we had one of the world's biggest breakups 20 years ago …… but hey the man is a genius !!!! Great song JT."
"Pssss if you KNOW WHAT'S GOOD," she continued. Justin proceeded to respond to the lovely shoutout, commenting a laughing emoji followed by a bunch of the raised hands emojis indicating celebration or praise.
Britney later posted a more extensive "Part 2" of her actually dancing to "Filthy" this time, writing in the caption that she did "14 turns wheeeeee."

Nothing like two famous amicable exes interacting online, especially when those exes once rocked head-to-toe matching denim outfits to the American Music Awards in 2001.
"Tiger King"’s Doc Antle Says Britney Spears Was "A Darling" During VMAs Performance
"Tiger King" star Bhagavan “Doc” Antle reflected on the time he worked with Britney Spears for her iconic "I'm A Slave 4 U" performance at the 2001 VMAs.
"Tiger King" star Bhagavan “Doc” Antle and Britney Spears go way back, didn't you know? It was recently discovered that the professional animal trainer and stars of the wildly popular Netflix docu-series, Tiger King: Murder, Madness, and Mayhem, was actually onstage during Britney's iconic performance of her hit song, "I'm A Slave 4 U," at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards.
Although the performance is most memorable for the moment in which Britney has a Burmese python draped over her shoulders while she struts around on stage, there was also a live tiger involved, which was handled by Doc himself. The performance begins with a young Brit locked in a cage with the tiger before she breaks out onto the stage, and Doc can be seen in the background controlling the wild animal for the most of the performance.
“She was such a darling, totally just a fanatic person wanting a perfect performance,” Doc said about the then-19-year-old Britney. “We were there for several days rehearsing so that the tigers would be relaxed and happy to be out there and that everything could be smooth and taken care of as best as possible. She was there rehearsing and working—just the hardest working, sweetest young girl, out there making all the pieces click together.”

“I have total confidence in that tiger. I knew him since he was a baby,” he continued. “He’s about seven years old right there [and at the] peak of his game. A super macho, aggressive male tiger. That’s the tiger that you go somewhere like that with because he cares less about the fireworks, the gas explosions, the banging music. He’s totally concerned with just holding his own and being cool.”

The Institute for Greatly Endangered and Rare Species (T.I.G.E.R.S.) founder and Myrtle Beach Safari owner says Britney's always welcome to visit the park, but he realizes that she may not be too keen on it right in the midst of all the drama surrounding the series. “Brit knows who we are and where we are,” he said. “Right now, I’m sure with the Hollywood vibe, she’d be afraid that it’s on fire with all of this crazy salacious, insanity that has been made into Tiger King.”
"Tiger King" Stars Doc Antle & Carole Baskin Have Strange Britney Spears Connections
"Tiger King" star Doc Antle was onstage with Britney Spears during her iconic performance at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards, handling a wild tiger.
Britney Spears lit up the stage for an iconic performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2001, dancing alongside some exotic animals and carrying a snake around her neck. As Tiger King continues to blow up as one of the most riveting documentaries of the year, fans of the series noticed that one of the principal characters, Dr. Bhagavan Antle, was actually on stage with the pop star during the performance.
Newly resurfaced photos show Tiger King star Doc Antle in the background as Britney Spears sang her hit single "Slave 4 U" during the exotic-themed performance. The doctor is seen handling a giant tiger as Spears does her thing, getting ready to electrify the crowd.
Another shocking photo has also hit the internet, showing Britney Spears seated in the audience following her performance. Surprisingly enough, she was sitting right next to Carole Baskin, owner of Big Cat Rescue and one of the most important characters in the doc.
Tiger King fans are going insane at the revelation that both Doc Antle and Carole Baskin were somehow involved in the iconic VMAs performance.
In other news related to the series, Joe Exotic has filed a $94 million lawsuit against the feds and one of his ex-husbands, John Finlay, has gotten new teeth since filming his parts for the show.
Britney Spears Was Only Joking About Beating Usain Bolt’s World Record
Britney Spears clarified that she was joking when she claimed to have run the 100 metre dash in less than 6 seconds, therefore beating Usain Bolt’s world record.
Britney Spears was “obviously joking” about being faster than Usain Bolt, when she claimed to have beat the world-renowned sprinter’s 100 metre dash world record time. The super fit former pop star is constantly documenting her workouts on social media, and on Wednesday, Britney shared a fitness update with her followers Instagram. In a since-deleted post, Brit had shared a screenshot of her stopwatch app, which had a “00:05.97” timestamp on it, and claimed in the caption to have sprinted 100 metres in that short time, beating her previous attempts. Many fans doubted the validity of Brit’s supposed time, considering how absurdly fast she’d have to be to do the 100 metre dash in less than 6 seconds. Many of them pointed out that it was highly unlikely she was telling the truth, since Usain Bolt currently holds the world record for running that same distance in 9.58 seconds. Did Britney really think we’d believe she was faster than the fastest person on earth?

Apparently, no. In another since-deleted post, Britney cleared the air about the whole “I beat the world record for fastest sprinter” thing, indicating that, of course, she was kidding. “Obviously I was joking about running the 100 meter dash in 5.97 seconds,” she wrote on the post. “The world record is held by Usain Bolt which is 9.58 seconds …. but you better believe I’m coming for the world record ? !!!! #joking #workbitch.” We’d honestly love to see Britney actually beat Usain’s world record. Anything is possible!
Britney Spears Claims To Have Beaten Usain Bolt’s World Record
Britney Spears claimed to have run 100 metres in under 6 seconds—just over half Usain Bolt’s world record time—but fans were not sold.
Britney Spears may not be timing her 100 metre sprints correctly, as she claimed to have run that distance in less than 6 seconds, which is just over half the time it took Usain Bolt in his 2009 record-breaking sprint. In recent years, the former pop star has become well-known for keeping up with her fitness, often documenting her workouts social media. Britney is certainly no stranger to the gym, but her latest exercise achievement seems highly implausible. Brit took to Instagram on Wednesday to share her self-progress, claiming to have sprinted 100 metres in just under 6 seconds.
“Ran my first 5 !!!!” she wrote on a screenshot of her timer with the timestamp “00:05.97” on it. “Getting over your fear of pushing it in the beginning is key…once I did that I hit 5 !!!!! Usually I run 6 or 7 …. my first try was 9 …. and now I did it whoop !!!!! 100 meter dash.” Despite her excitement, fans were immediately suspicious of Britney’s claims. Many were quick to point out that Usain Bolt currently holds the world record for the fastest 100 metre sprint, with 9.58 seconds. The sprinter set the world record at the 2009 Berlin World Athletics Championships, and has yet to be beaten by any other athlete. Considering she herself is not a professional athlete nor has she been extensively trained in the sport, it seems highly unlikely that Britney would be able to beat Usain’s sprinting record so easily.

“So you broke the 100m world record?” one user asked her. “Are we just going to ignore the fact she has just beaten usain bolt (The world record holder) by 3 seconds???” another commented. “100 metres in under 6 seconds,” wrote another. “Watch out usain bolt.” Some of her followers pointed out that she had recently broken her foot, so her supposed world-record-breaking feat would be even more impressive, if it were true. “Britney Spears, world record breaker,” one of her fans said. “I believe you, Queen!”
Britney Spears’ Son Claims She Quit Music, Puts Grandfather On Blast
Britney Spears’ 13-year-old son, Jayden Federline, talked about her career and conservatorship on IG Live.
Kids say the darndest things, don’t they? Britney Spears’ 13-year-old son, Jayden Federline, disclosed some pretty shocking news on Instagram Live. While it didn’t seem like he went on the app with the intention of spilling beans about his mom’s music career, Jayden was understandably bombarded with questions about Britney. After all, she is an internationally-beloved pop icon.
That’s why news of Britney’s possible retirement is going to have so many people shook today. When asked whether he has heard any of her unreleased music, Jayden revealed that Britney’s head has not been in the zone these days when it comes to music. “I haven’t see her do a lot of music at all,” he told his followers. “I remember one time I asked mom what happened to your music and she was like, ‘I don’t know hunny. I might just quit it,’ and I’m like, ‘What are you saying? Do you know how much bank you make off of that stuff?'” Spoken like a true 13-year-old.

Jayden then may have unintentionally hinted at the reason for Britney’s decision to stop making bops. He was asked whether his grandfather, Jamie Spears, is a “jerk”, a question which likely arose because his conservatorship over Britney has been considered very controversial. Jamie’s alleged tyrannical control over Britney’s whole career has recently sparked the #FreeBritney campaign. Jayden had nothing nice to say about the man. “He’s a pretty big d***. He’s pretty f***ing g**. He can go die.”
Jayden promised he would share the full story about his mother’s restraints if he reached 5,000 Instagram followers, but after all the tea he spilled in this livestream, his parents may very well confiscate his phone.
Britney Spears Rocks Blue Bikini During Outside Yoga Session
Britney Spears is staying true to her workout regimen after posting a video of herself doing yoga in a blue bikini to her IG.
In the late ’90s and throughout the early 2000s, there wasn’t a single musical act as polarizing as Britney Spears. The world was able to witness the maturation of the then-teen to the now 38-year-old woman who has accomplished world-renowned success as a pop icon and respected mother of two children.
While she has earned every entertainment accolade imaginable from Grammy Award winner to Guinness World Record holder, the “…Baby One More Time” performer has prioritized her health as one of her main goals to improve on in the new year. A few weeks back, Spears posted a short video to IG account stating that she would be utilizing multiple, unorthodox methods to maintain her fitness goals. Spears captioned the post:
“In 2020 I will be doing a lot more acro yoga and the basics for yoga …. I’m a beginner and it’s kind of hard to let go …. learning to trust and letting someone else hold your body ? !!! I have a lot of things I keep bottled up so I have to keep my body moving !!!! Thank God for Mother Nature …. she’s really no joke …. she grounds me and helps me find my feet and always opens my mind when I step outside …. !!!! I was lucky today with this beautiful weather ?????☀️ I just flew in from a trip with my family and I ran a 6.8 speed outside my house for a 100 meter yard dash … I did 6 in high school so I’m trying to gain speed !!!! I hurt my thigh so I apologize if my legs look swollen ?????. I hope you all have a wonderful new year and GOD SPEED !!!!! PS I’m so cool with my tennis shoes and yoga ?♀️ it’s the new thing you know ????? !!!!”
This past Sunday, the multiplatinum pop star remained committed to her fitness vow, posting another video of herself doing yoga in the comfort of her front yard. This time, Ms. Spears showed off her svelte figure and curves while sporting a tiny, turquoise bikini. While in recent years, Britney Spears has struggled with mental health and personal obstacles, it appears that the starlet is well on her way to living a fulfilled and healthy lifestyle. LSU, Clemson Players Struggle To ID Nas, Seinfeld & Other ’90s Icons: Watch
LSU & Clemson players fail miserably during a game of "Name The 90s."
The 2019-20 college football season comes to a close tonight in New Orleans, as the Tigers from LSU and Clemson do battle at Mercedes-Benz Superdome. All of the hype surrounding the battle of the unbeatens, not to mention all of the money that will be gambled on tonight's title game, makes it easy to forget that these kids are just that - kids.
For example, the AOL icons, which are forever engrained in the brains of those who lived through the '90s and early 2000s, are completely foreign to many of the LSU and Clemson players. To further highlight their youthfulness ahead of tonight's title game, ESPN recently played a game of "Name the 90s" with players from each team, where they struggled to identify music icons such as Nas, TLC and Britney Spears, as well as classic TV shows like Seinfeld and Martin.
Check out the footage in the tweet embedded below.
As I alluded to earlier, there will be millions of dollars gambled of the outcome of tonight's National Championship, so it's worth noting that LSU is currently favored by 5.5 points (up from the 3.5 they opened as), and the over/under point total for the game is 69 points. You can catch the action tonight at 8pm ET, airing on ESPN.
