Steph Curry's broken hand injury from the beginning of the season put the Golden State Warriors in a huge hole. We knew coming into this season that they wouldn't be very good but Curry's absence put them over the edge in the worst way possible. As it stands, the Warriors are last place in the entire NBA and are looking at a lottery pick. Fans have been speculating about when Curry would return and now, it appears as though the questions have been answered.
Curry will be back in the Warriors lineup tonight against the Toronto Raptors. The Star will be playing with some minutes restrictions as the team wants to keep him healthy for next season. In anticipation of tonight, the Warriors took to Twitter where they posted a video of Curry warming up. As you can see, he hasn't missed a beat as his footwork and shooting are still top-notch.
Of course, we won't know how ready Curry is until we actually see him in the game. However, he will definitely be motivated as he's taking on the Toronto Raptors who defeated him in the NBA Finals, last season. It remains to be seen what his impact will be tonight but if there is one thing for sure, it's that the Warriors are much more fun to watch with Curry in the lineup.
Warriors Reportedly Upset Over Steph Curry Return Rumors
Steph Curry hasn’t played NBA basketball since October.
Steph Curry is the heart and soul of the Golden State Warriors and it’s been that way for the better part of a decade. This season has been tough for Warriors fans as Curry has been out with a devastating broken hand. This past week, there have been a ton of reports about Curry’s recovery and how he should be ready to get back into the lineup soon. In fact, Curry played in a scrimmage with the Warriors G-League team before being called back up.
There was a rumor floating around that Curry could end up playing as early as March 1st but, of course, that never happened. Now, he’s rumored to be back in time for Thursday. According to Tom Haberstroh of NBC Sports, the Warriors have been quite unhappy with all of the rumors floating around in relation to their star player.

Per NBC Sports:
“Curry has been itching to come back. He privately targeted this game against the Washington Wizards as his return to the court and has been preparing as such behind the scenes. Whispers about the March 1 target date reached the public in mid-January and when reports surfaced a week ago that Curry would come back March 1, the Warriors weren’t exactly thrilled.”
The Golden State Warriors are last place in the entire NBA so their anger shouldn’t be surprising. This season has been one to forget and they’re probably already looking forward to having a healthy squad next year.
Steph Curry’s Rumored Return Date Revealed After G-League Stint
Steph Curry has been out since the end of October with a broken hand.
Steph Curry will most likely go down as the greatest shooter in the history of the NBA. His style of play helped the Golden State Warriors win three NBA championships in the span of five seasons. Coming into the 2019-2020 campaign, it was known that the Warriors weren’t going to be as good as they were in previous seasons. Curry’s broken hand injury pretty well confirmed these suspicions. Now, the team is dead last in the NBA and are on track to get a lottery pick.
Curry has been working hard to rehab himself and yesterday, he was assigned to the G-League for a quick scrimmage with the Santa Cruz Warriors. According to David Lombardi of The Athletic, Curry was playing like his old self and it appears as though he will most likely return on March 5th when the Warriors take on the Toronto Raptors.

“You can’t replicate a game in 2-on-2 or 3-on-3,” Santa Cruz coach Kris Weems explained when asked about Curry’s short stint in the G-League. “He needed that 5-on-5, all five guys moving around, take some bumps. The physicality is what’s going to be important for him to feel comfortable in a game, so we got him that in a game.”
It remains to be seen if Curry will, in fact, suit up on Thursday night although if he does, it will surely be quite the spectacle. Warriors fans haven’t had many reasons to cheer this season but Curry’s return would certainly be an occasion to be happy again.
Steph Curry Has Been Assigned To The G-League
Every player has their time.
Many of you reading this probably saw the headline and wondered what kind of clickbait was about to be bestowed upon you. Here is the thing, everything about the headline is factually correct. So please be kind in the comments section. With that being said, let's get into it, shall we?
If you've been paying attention to the NBA this season, you know that the Golden State Warriors have been terrible, most notably because they've been missing key players like Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Curry has been out with a broken hand and is expected to return to the lineup very soon. In preparation for this, Curry has been sent down to the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G-League, according to reporter Logan Murdock.
Before you get all bent out of shape, this kind of assignment is actually standard procedure. When a player is about to come back from an injury, they are sent to the G-League affiliate to get some high-level reps in before coming right back to the NBA. It's safe to assume that Curry won't play a single game with the Santa Cruz Warriors.
While it may just be a formality, there is no denying just how funny it is to see Curry on a G-League team.
Steph Curry’s Nerve Damage In Hand Could Take A While To Heal
Steph Curry has been out since the beginning of the season with a broken hand.
Steph Curry came into this season knowing things were going to be different. Without Klay Thompson in the lineup, it was quite clear that this Warriors team wasn’t going to be good enough to go to the NBA Finals. However, no one expected them to be last place in the entire league. Of course, this happened because Curry went down with a hand injury early in the season. Curry has been hard at work rehabbing his hand and it is believed he could be back in the lineup as soon as this weekend.
Interestingly enough, Curry could be back in the lineup but he won’t exactly be at 100 percent. His trainer Brandon Payne recently spoke to NBC Sports about Curry’s injury and how he actually has nerve damage right now. In fact, this damage could take a long time to heal.

“I think, as far as the healing, that’s all going really well. You mentioned the nerve issue. We’re still kind of working through that and that’s something that’s gonna progressively improve over time,” Payne said Yahoo! Sports. “It’s not all the way back to where he wants it to be right now, but it has gotten better since the surgery and since the initial recovery period after the surgery. So he is feeling a little bit better in his hand now that we’re getting closer for when it’s time for him to play. And that will continue to improve. The doctors have told us that could take up to a year to fully come back.”
With this in mind, don’t expect Curry to be back to his usual tricks right away. With the nerve damage lingering, it could take Curry a bit longer to get back into the swing of things.
Steph Curry Shows Us How He Hasn’t Lost His Touch Amidst Injury
The Golden State Warriors are desperately missing Curry's presence/
Steph Curry has consistently been one of the best players in the NBA over the last few seasons and he has three NBA championships to show for it. Unfortunately, Curry suffered a broken hand at the beginning of the season and he has been out of the Warriors lineup ever since. It remains to be seen when he'll come back but fans are optimistic that it will be sooner than later.
Curry has been working hard to rehab his hand and come back stronger than ever. Now, Curry is participating in non-contact drills at practice. As you would expect, shooting has been his number one priority and in the video below, Curry can be seen showing off his jumper. Curry makes shots with ease and looks as though he is ready for a mighty comeback.
If you're a Warriors fan, this should be a wonderful sight to see. The team is currently last place in the entire Western Conference and they are one of the saddest watches on television. With Curry back in the lineup, they would certainly be a lot more entertaining. Not to mention, Draymond Green's flawed play would be covered up quite nicely.
Curry is set to be evaluated at the end of the month. Once that happens, the Warriors will decide on when he's ready for a comeback.
Steve Kerr Gives Huge Update On Steph Curry’s Injury Recovery
Steph Curry has been out since November with a broken hand.
Steph Curry went down with a broken hand at the beginning of the season which ultimately put the Golden State Warriors in a tremendous hole. Without Curry in the lineup, the Warriors have become the worst team in the entire NBA and at this rate, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them get a lottery pick in the draft. Regardless, Curry has been hard at work trying to get himself right for the final stretch of the season.
Some think Curry will be back in March although for now, that remains to be seen. Recently, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr gave a massive update on Curry and what he’s been able to do with the team as of late. As Kerr explains, Curry is already participating in drills and by next month, they’ll have a pretty good idea of when he’ll be able to make his return.

“He’s jumped into a few of our non-contact, offensive 5-on-0 stuff,” Kerr said according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic. “But he’s coming around. We’ll have another update I guess, a more thorough update, on March 1. But right now, everything is going smoothly and he’s just trying to build his conditioning base and keep getting better.”
This latest update should be great news for Warriors fans who have had to sit through one of the team’s worst seasons in recent memory. Once Curry comes back, they will certainly start winning at a higher clip again.
Steve Kerr Reveals When Steph Curry Might Come Back
Curry has been out with a broken hand.
Heading into this season, things were already bleak for the Golden State Warriors. The team was going into the season without Klay Thompson and there were fears that the team could miss the playoffs. As soon as the season started, things unraveled as numerous players got injuries, including Steph Curry. The three-point shooting maestro suffered a broken hand and there were fears that he could miss the entire season. Now, the Warriors are last place in the Western Conference and the season appears to be a bit of a lost cause.
During a recent interview, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr spoke about his star point guard and what the team’s plans are moving forward. As it turns out, Curry could be back this season, after all. Kerr even broke down the timeline of when this could happen.

“His injury is not nearly as serious as Klay’s because we’re dealing with a hand and not a knee,” Kerr told Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes. “We’ll re-evaluate Steph sometime in February, but I think there’s an excellent chance he comes back sometime in March — late in the season.”
Curry’s return to the lineup probably won’t help the Warriors get into the playoffs although every little hit helps. Just off of his shooting alone, Curry could help this Warriors team string some wins together and build momentum to close out the year.
