Rob Gronkowski shocked the football world about a month ago when he decided to come out of retirement. He was eventually traded from the New England Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he will be reunited with his one and only quarterback, Tom Brady. Fans are extremely excited about his comeback and the consensus is that the Buccaneers are primed and ready for a playoff run.
Recently, Gronkowski was interviewed by Ellen Degeneres where he was asked about his decision to come back to the NFL. As he explained, Brady had a little bit to do with it although it ultimately came down to wanting to be closer to his family.
“You know, everyone keeps asking me ‘Did Tom (Brady) get you to Tampa?’” Gronkowski told Ellen. “Well, of course it didn’t hurt that Tom went to Tampa, you know, and the opportunity to go to Tampa was there too. But you know, Tom was like the appetizer, and then there’s a few other reasons. I love the weather. But the main course, the main reason why I came down to Tampa to play is because my mother live two hours away. She can get to all the games, all eight of our home games. Whenever I have days off, she’s two hours down the street and I get to see her. So she’s super excited.”
It remains to be seen whether or not Brady and Gronk can relive the magic of New England although we're sure they will be entertaining regardless.

Tom Brady & Rob Gronkowski Receive Message From Tampa Bay Mayor
Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are the latest additions to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Heading into the offseason, Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans probably had no idea that they would be in for one of the best free agency periods in the franchise's history. It all started when Tom Brady signed a two-year, $50 million contract with the squad. Then, just this week, the team made a trade with the New England Patriots to acquire none other than Rob Gronkowski who has decided to come out of retirement.
Needless to say, fans are very excited about this, including Jane Castor who is the mayor of Tampa Bay. Today, she issued a letter on her Twitter account which is addressed to the two new faces of the franchise. As you can tell, Castor is over the moon about having this quarterback-tight end duo in her city.
"Thanks again for choosing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and, in turn, our beloved city. This is a very exciting time and we look forward to welcoming you with (virtual) open arms. A proper Tampa welcome will have to wait for a while," Castor said in her letter.
Castor went on to address Gronk's partying ways and how she can't wait for him to experience the city's Gasparilla Pirate Invasion and Parade.
Clearly, Gronk and Brady are receiving a grand welcome and their chase for a Super Bowl will begin as of this Fall.
NFL Teams Want Tom Brady Punished For Recent Actions
Tom Brady has been interacting with Buccaneers staff lately and NFL teams are not happy about it.
This past week has been fairly tumultuous for Tom Brady. It all started when he was told to leave an abandoned park in Tampa Bay after starting to workout by himself. Then, he barged into someone's home by accident as he thought the place belonged to offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich. These mistakes are pretty hilarious when you think about it but apparently, NFL teams don't agree. In fact, some are calling for Brady and the Buccaneers to face stiff punishments.
According to Jason La Canfora, NFL teams believe the Buccaneers and Brady have been breaking rules pertaining to the Coronavirus-imposed stay at home order. Some teams think that Brady has been meeting with his staff a little too much during this time and that he is setting a bad example when it comes to social distancing. In fact, some squads have already told league officials about their displeasure.
Considering Brady's past with the New England Patriots, it will be interesting to see what the league does here. On one hand, the Buccaneers and Brady aren't breaking any football rules. However, there is something to be said about committing irresponsible actions while in the midst of a pandemic.
Stay tuned for updates on this developing story as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest information.
Patrick Mahomes Reveals Tom Brady’s Mistake Is Pretty Common
Patrick Mahomes made a hilarious admission following the story that Tom Brady walked into the wrong home.
Tom Brady has been in the news a lot lately and it's not exactly for football reasons. Of course, it all started when Brady was told to go home after disobeying the stay at home order so he could go work out at a park. More recently, Brady walked into the wrong house while trying to meet up with his offensive coordinator. Essentially, Brady broke into someone's home and only realized it when he looked up and saw a man not named Byron Leftwich in front of him. Needless to say, the last few days have been quite interesting for the six-time Super Bowl champion.
Today, Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes heard about Brady's mistake and took to Twitter to show some support to a fellow quarterback. As he explains, he did the same thing during his first year in Kansas City.
While this is pretty hilarious, it begs the question: why does this keep happening? I mean, why aren't people locking their doors? Are the addresses not visible? Why do all of the homes look so alike? These are all elements that these stories pretty baffling, to say the least.
Either way, we're sure both of these QBs have learned their lessons.
Rob Gronkowski Pens Emotional Goodbye To New England
Rob Gronkowski was recently traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Rob Gronkowski retired from football back in 2019 but there was always this feeling that he would eventually come out to run it back with Tom Brady, one last time. Gronk had been teasing a return to the NFL and this week, he was traded from the New England Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Now, he will be joining Brady in Florida where they have a chance to do some serious damage in the NFC South.
As a way to pay tribute to the Patriots fans who supported him over the years, Gronk took to his Instagram where he penned a lengthy goodbye message. Gronk explains just how important New England is to him and how he will forever love those who run the organization.
Per Gronk:
“First and foremost, I want to thank the Patriots Organization for everything over the last 10 years. Without Mr. Kraft and Coach Belichick taking a chance on me in the 2010 draft, I wouldn’t be sitting here in this position in life, THANK YOU both as well my former teammates for everything over the years.
New England Patriot Fans, you guys have been nothing but amazing. I love you guys and appreciate your constant support for me big time over the last 10 years (even during retirement). THANK YOU all so much, the memories are incredible.”
While Patriots fans might be sad to see Gronk go, they can take solace in the fact that he helped them win three championships. Those numbers certainly soften the blow.
Tom Brady Reacts To His Recent Crime Spree
Tom Brady is already leaving his mark in Tampa Bay.
Tom Brady made a stunning revelation last month when he told the world that he would be leaving the New England Patriots after a 20-year relationship that saw him win six Super Bowls. Now, Brady is taking his talents to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who recently announced the acquisition of Rob Gronkowski.
Brady is enjoying his time in Tampa Bay so much, that he is already leaving his mark on the city in the form of a string of accidental crimes. It all started earlier this week when Brady was caught working out in an empty park that was closed due to the Coronavirus. His most recent crime was when he accidentally walked into someone else's home, thinking he was at his offensive coordinator's house.
As it turns out, Brady seems to have a sense of humor about it all, as he displayed in his most recent tweet.
You can't blame Brady too much for these events. I mean, after all, he's just excited about his new city and wants to explore everything Tampa Bay has to offer. Not to mention, it's easy to lose yourself when you're not familiar with any of your surroundings.
We're sure by May, Brady will have Tampa all figured out and his only crime will be missing a wide-open Gronkowski screen pass in a game against the Dolphins. Or something like that.
Tom Brady Accidentally Barges Into Wrong Home In Tampa Bay
Tom Brady has been having a tough time getting acclimated to Florida.
Oh, Florida, the home of alligators, weird crimes, and even weirder crimes. As it turns out, even their famous sports superstars aren’t exempt from the “Florida Man” antics. Yes, that’s right folks. Tom Brady, the latest member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, can now put a successful breaking and entering attempt on his resume.
Of course, Brady didn’t actually mean to break into anyone’s home. It was simply an honest mistake. After all, Brady is getting up there in age. As the story goes, Brady meant to go to Buccaneer’s offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich’s home but accidentally barged through the next-door neighbor’s unlocked door.
The neighbor in question, David Kramer, spoke to TMZ about the situation and as he explains, Brady couldn’t have been more apologetic.
“I literally was just sitting here and I watch this tall guy just walk into my house,” Kramer said “He didn’t even look at me. He just like dropped his duffel bags down on the floor and just kind of like looked up at me and I’ll never forget the look on his face.
“He was like, ‘I am so sorry! I am so sorry! Grabs his bags and just is gone. I don’t think I’ve seen someone leave a house faster!”
Earlier this week, Brady was told by authorities to stop practicing in a Tampa park as he was disobeying the Coronavirus-imposed stay at home order. Needless to say, one month into his tenure with the Buccaneers and he’s already breaking the rules. A fine start indeed.

Tom Brady Disobeys Social Distancing By Practicing At Florida Park
Tom Brady decided to find an empty park and work out although he just so happened to be disobeying the law.
Tom Brady hasn't even been in Tampa Bay for a month and he is already catching the eye of local authorities. Of course, it's not like Brady did anything exceptionally bad although perhaps you can say his recent actions were in poor judgment considering everything that has been going on in the world over the past few weeks.
As the story goes, Brady was working out all by himself in an empty park in Tampa Bay. Due to the Coronavirus, all of the parks are closed down which means there are authorities patrolling the area. An officer approached Brady without realizing it was him. It was once the officer got closer that he realized he was talking to one of the greatest football players ever. After being asked to leave the park, the City of Tampa Bay acknowledged the incident on social media
"Sorry @TomBrady! Our @tampaparksrec team can’t wait to welcome you and our entire community back with even bigger smiles -- until then, stay safe and stay home as much as you can to help flatten the curve," the city wrote.
Many were upset with the city's actions although it's important to remember that we are living through a pandemic and we can't be too cautious. Not to mention, Brady is living in Derek Jeter's old house and we can imagine there is plenty of room there for him to train. At this point, the park is just unnecessary.
Rob Gronkowski Trade Elicits Massive Social Media Reaction
Rob Gronkowski was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Twitter had a lot to say about the matter.
Yesterday, no one thought Rob Gronkowski was ever going to step foot on another football field. For the past year, Gronk has been educating fans on what he went through in terms of injuries and how it took a huge toll on his body. However, today, it was reported that Gronk was actually thinking of making a comeback. Just minutes ago, it was reported that Gronk was officially returning to the NFL and he would be doing so as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The New England Patriots sent Gronk and a seventh-rounder to the Bucs in exchange for a fourth-round pick. Now, Gronkowski will be reunited with the man he won six Super Bowls with, Tom Brady.
As you can imagine, hoards of people took to social media after the news broke. NFL fans were shocked to hear that Gronk was going to come out of retirement and they were even more surprised to see that a trade was involved. There also seems to be a lot of hyperbole as to how good the Buccaneers will be next season.
The brunt of the jokes were directed at Julian Edelman who will now be all alone on the Patriots without some of his best friends. As I say often on this website, such is life.
Check out some of the reactions to the news, below.
Patriots & Buccaneers Finalize Rob Gronkowski Trade
Rob Gronkowski is going to be reunited with Tom Brady.
Rob Gronkowski retired back in 2019 but he still had a couple of years left on his contract with the New England Patriots. The Patriots kept his contract on the books just in case he decided to come back. However, Gronkowski always made it clear that he would never play with a quarterback other than Tom Brady. Well, now, Brady is with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and it just so happens that Gronk wants to play again. Put two and two together and you quickly realize that for Gronk to go to Tampa Bay, the Patriots would have to trade him. Today, that's exactly what they did.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Patriots are sending Gronk and a seventh-round pick to Tampa Bay in exchange for a fourth-rounder.
Earlier today, we reported on how Gronk was keeping his options open for a come back although no one expected news like this to come so soon. Regardless, it will be fun to see Brady and Gronk back on the same field together when the season starts in September.
If you're a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, this latest news should be music to your ears. Meanwhile, fans of other NFC South teams must be fuming.
Alas, such is life.
