It looks like Meek Mill wasn't quite finished reaming out 6ix9ine on Twitter about the latter's plans to go live later today as a sort of reintroduction following his recent incarceration. After getting released from prison early as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, 6ix9ine will officially be returning to the music world at 3:00pm EST today, by dropping a new single and music video and conducting an Instagram live session for fans. However, some of the known snitch's biggest critics are not impressed by the careless manner with which he is carrying out his comeback, including Meek Mill.

Earlier today, Meek took to Twitter to express how he feels about the rainbow-haired rapper's return, which prompted a response from 6ix9ine, telling Meek to focus on his newborn son instead. Now, Meek's unleashed a series of tweets speaking ill of 6ix9ine for making light of his snitching past, without any regard for the damage he's done.
It should be interesting to see what 6ix9ine will have to say, and whether or not he will address Meek's tweets about him during his live session.
Trippie Redd Gets Roasted For Seemingly "Biting" Playboi Carti
Trippie Redd's new song "Hello Kitty" earned the rapper a tongue lashing from Playboi Carti's unrelenting disciples.
Trippie Redd and Playboi Carti have an interesting history -- lest we forget the latter was previously featured on A Love Letter To You 4, only to have his fan-favorite verse swiftly removed for reasons unknown. At the time, Trippie opted to leave the removal open to interpretation, inviting fans to draw their own conclusion. Unfortunately, many surmised that he felt threatened by the positive response and decided to reposition the spotlight, thereby sparking an unflattering narrative in the process.

Suffice it to say, Carti and Redd are now connected, albeit tenuously, by the dubious backstory. Therefore, when Trippie previewed his new song "Hello Kitty" on Instagram Live, fans were quick to draw comparisons to the elusive Die Lit auteur. Citing the digitally-distorted instrumental as one exhibit and the squeaky-pitched helium vocals as another, "Hello Kitty" quickly caused Playboi Carti fans to mobilize across the timeline. Especially after Redd took to Instagram comments to confirm that the vocals were indeed him.
Before long, Trippie was finding his new exercise in stylistic experimentation placed directly beneath the magnifying glass. A rather unfortunate development, as the track actually sounds rather promising -- despite its sonic similarities to Carti's signature aesthetic. Considering that the verse removal still looms overhead, the perceived "biting" might resonate all the stronger. That's not to throw a hat in this particular race; Redd has proven himself to be a versatile artist capable of many different styles. Yet this one did elicit a passionate response from Carti's base, with some of their ire embedded below for your viewing pleasure.
Cam’ron Calls Out Safdie Brothers Over "Uncut Gems" Casting
Though he maintains it's all good, Cam'ron claims he felt used by The Safdie Bros during "Uncut Gems" casting.
The Safdie Brother's 2019 film Uncut Gems, starring Adam Sandler as a jeweler over his head, has become a fan-favorite despite its anxiety-inducing narrative. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like everything went rosy for all parties during the pre-production stages. Today, Cam'ron has taken to Instagram to air out a few grievances he had with the Safdie Brothers, which emerged as a result of Complex's deep dive on jewelers Izzy and Joseph Aranbayev of Anne & Co -- the main source for all the film's jewelry.

After Izzy Aranbayev details how he, his brother, and their good friend Cam'ron were originally supposed to appear in the movie (they did not), Cam' offered up his take on the way things played out. Unfortunately, it seems as if he felt used by Josh Safdie, who capitalized on Cam's existing relationship with Anne & Co.
"[Josh Safdie] used me to get to you and the family. Then tried to give me a sucker ass role," writes Cam. "When they told me it was supposed to be me and @jonahhill starring in it with @adamsandler (uncut Jems) then didn’t even give me a thank you in the credits. [Josh Safdie] is still my guy.. but this needed to be said. And talk about my consultant fee lol.. Love and congrats to all."
While the callout is what it is, it's clear that Killa isn't harboring any hard feelings over the way things played out. To be fair, it would have been nice to see him grace the silver screen once again. Who knows -- perhaps we'll see Cam pop up in the next Safdie Brothers flick, an olive branch of sorts.
Lizzo’s Bathing Suit Video Restored By TikTok
Lizzo’s video of herself rocking a bathing suit has been restored by TikTok, after the singer called out the app for removing her skin-baring content.
Lizzo‘s TikTok video that features the Grammy-winning artist in a bathing suit have been restored by the app, after she called them out for discriminating against her due to her size by removing her stripped down clips. This week, Lizzo uploaded a clip of herself to her TikTok account, exposing the app for removing content of hers in which she is featured in skin-baring attire.

“TikTok keeps taking down my videos with me in my bathing suits,” Lizzo’s caption reads. “But allows other videos with girls in bathing suits. I wonder why?” she continues. “Tiktok…we need to talk.” In the clip, Lizzo is lip-syncing to audio of another TikTok user singing the phrase “I know” over and over, indicating that Lizzo does, in fact, know why the app removed her bathing suit videos. The body positivity advocate has been very vocal about feeling comfortable in her skin as a plus-sized woman, and is clearly not afraid to point out when she feels she’s been treated differently due to her weight.

However, a spokesperson for TikTok told Page Six revealed that the platform has been in touch with Lizzo’s team and assured them that the initial removal of her content was completely un-related to her size. According to the spokesperson, one of Lizzo’s videos was originally taken down because it did not appear to meet TikTok’s community guidelines. The clip seemingly showed Lizzo flashing her underwear and was thus promptly removed from the platform, but upon further inspection and review, it became clear that Lizzo was, in fact, wearing a bathing suit. The video has since been restored to her page.
Amanda Bynes Believes Paparazzi Are Photoshopping Her Shots
Amanda Bynes shared a message on paparazzi and self worth, where she called out the tabloids for supposedly altering images of her to make her appear larger.
Amanda Bynes has spoken out on the relationship between paparazzi and self worth, stressing how dangerous it is for the media to release altered photos of her where she appears to look heavier. Amanda has been fairly active on social media ever since she announced her engagement to her boyfriend, Paul Michael, a few weeks ago. The former actress, who has had a pretty tumultuous time in the spotlight over the years dealing with substance abuse, mental health issues, and run-ins with the law, took to Instagram on Thursday to talk about the “terrifying experience” of looking herself up online only to find that all of the shots of her have allegedly been photoshopped to make her face look different.
“Hey y’all. I wanted to post a video today to talk about paparazzi and self worth,” Amanda told her followers. “Whenever I see a paparazzi photo, the majority of the time, I look nothing like myself. I’m talking, 16 chins, face looks completely different, and it’s an all-around terrifying experience to look myself up online, quite honestly. Like I’m about to cry just thinking about it.”

However, she had a wider objective than just calling out the paparazzi. “I wanted to post this video so people know that I’m just like you,” she notes. “I want to look my best. Of course, I can take an unflattering shot, but the amount of unflattering shots that I see online—I know that my shots are being photoshopped. I just, I don’t look like that in the photos that I take or when I look at myself in the mirror. So, that’s all I wanted to say. I hope you guys are having a sick day. I love you, and I’ll talk to you guys soon.” Whether or not the paparazzi or publications are indeed photoshopping images of her, she clearly sees a discrepancy between her own self-perception and the public’s perception of her. Along with her shocking engagement, Amanda has been making headlines in recent months for her questionable face tattoos, which may have been a result of her skewered self-image.
Hilary Duff Calls Out Paparazzi For Taking Photos Of Children
Hilary Duff confronted a paparazzo who was photographing her 7-year-old son Luca and other children on the field at a football game.
Hilary Duff was not having it after she noticed a paparazzo taking photos of the children at her 7-year-old son Luca's football game on Saturday. Paparazzi are notorious for invading personal space and pushing boundaries, and many celebrities have snapped at them for getting too close or not leaving people alone. However, Hilary emphasized in the video she posted on Instagram of herself confronting this particular "creep" that taking pictures of kids totally crosses the line. In the clip, the actress walks up to the paparazzo and asks him if he knows any of the kids on the field. When he says that he does not, a back-and-forth ensues between them.
View this post on InstagramWhen Hilary asks the man to stop taking photos of the kids, he points out that it's "legal." She indicates that, regardless, he is making her uncomfortable, and he asks her if she'd like to see his ID. “I'm not asking for your ID,” she responds. “I'm asking you to stop taking pictures of our 7-year-old children if you don't know anyone that's here." He reiterates the legality of his actions, to which she says, "I'm asking you human-to-human—as a mother—if you don't know anyone here, can you please stop taking pictures of our children playing football this morning?” The paparazzo tries to justify himself by claiming that he's merely "practicing photography," before telling Hilary that her "paranoia is unwarranted." Hilary tells him that she plans to post the video to her "15 million followers on Instagram and let people know how creepy it is that this is what you're choosing to do on your Saturday morning." She then pans over to all the concerned parents sitting on the sidelines to show viewers everyone else who is creeped out by this man, before he puts his hand over her phone and the video ends.

“Paparazzi shooting KIDS,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Go ‘practice’ your photography on ADULTS! Creep! Laws need to change! This is stalking minors! Disgusting!” Hilary received plenty of support from fellow celebrities, including Shameless star Emmy Rossum, who commented, "Children should be protected under the law." Celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton, also commented, pointing out that he does not "run any paparazzi photos of celeb children on [his] site" and that "every media outlet should agree to do the same." Hilary has spoken out about paparazzi invading her and her children's space (she also has a 1-year-old daughter, Banks, with husband Matthew Koma) in the past. In December, she told a story about trying to run errands with her kids while photographers refused to stop following them around.
Halsey Calls Out Concert Heckler For Shouting G-Eazy’s Name: "F*** That Guy"
Don't disrespect Halsey.
As unfortunate it is when hecklers disrespect artists by interrupting their sets, it can incredibly satisfying when an artist puts the perpetrator in their place in front of a huge crowd of people. The attendees of the "BUDX Miami by Budweiser" party on Saturday night (Feb. 1) got to experience this thrill when Halsey called out an audience member for repeatedly shouting her ex-boyfriend, G-Eazy's, name.
According to TMZ, Halsey paused her set to try to identify the guy who was screaming the rapper's name in what was presumably an attempt to irritate her. “If you say G-Eazy one more f–king time I will kick your ass out of this party,” she threatened into the microphone. “Test me! F–king test me! You wanna get out of the crowd? Who was it? It’s you? Who said G-Eazy?... You don't disrespect me like that at my own show.”
The pop star then started pacing the stage to spot the nuisance, but ended up starting a "F*ck that guy!" chant before continuing with her performance. She addressed the incident on her Instagram Story after the show, writing: "don’t ever let someone make u feel crazy or unhinged cus ur a woman standing up for urself. Don’t tolerate disrespect in the name of being 'nice.' Love u."
Considering that Halsey and G-Eazy didn't appear to have the most amicable breakup, this reaction is warranted. After this split, Halsey moved on to British rocker YUNGBLUD and, now, she is seeing actor Evan Peters. Two weeks ago, Halsey released her new album, Manic.
King Los Schools Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe After Kobe Bryant Joke
King Los and Tony Hinchcliffe have a debate on the horizon.
The art of Comedy, especially in today's culture, has often led to many heated debates about sensitivity. Some comedians have no qualms with abandoning morality in favor of landing that edgy punchline, Tony Hinchcliffe among them. Following the tragic news of Kobe Bryant's passing in a helicopter crash, Hinchcliffe took to Twitter to fire one off at his expense. "Kobe passing?" he writes. "That can't be true." As of now, the tweet remains up, a testament to his unwavering stance on the matter. Naturally, many heartbroken fans were quick to call him out, with elite lyricist King Los taking the process a step further.
Taking to Instagram, Los voiced his displeasure with the joke, explaining his position on why belittling Kobe's death was a slight against the black community. Given that the majority of the exchange has been deleted, it's difficult to cite his words verbatim. As of now, remnants can be seen on his Twitter, with the beginning reading as follows. "I respect freedom of speech but I also understand that the value of the black family will never fully resonate with oppressors children nor is it their responsibility to give a fuck. I’m a big comedy fan but this…"
He later doubled down on his position, and while the full message has since been deleted, a captured screenshot highlights part of it:
"There's absolutely no reason for you to even care how deeply hurtful this joke is to black culture, I understand. I'm not one of those peoeple who belives that anybody outside of the African diaspora can ever truly relate to the traumatic psychological affects these things have on us considering the past 400 yrs. However we all understand that you used a tragic moment where a man died with his 13 yr old daughter to capitalize for your comedic platform. You did what you felt you had to do and violated us willingly so keep that same energy when the favor is returned. I hope we can all still laugh. #GreenLight"
Also on Twitter, Los implies that his words led Hinchcliffe to feel particularly threatened. "Tony Hinchcliffe gathered that somehow I would be responsible for the retaliation of his inconsiderate behavior. No sir you “make fun of people for a living." The message remains unfinished, and the matter appears to have been addressed behind the scenes.
Following a since-deleted back and forth, Los confirmed that he and Hinchcliffe had settled their differences in the DMs, and would be using the opportunity to stage a discussion on an upcoming podcast. "We decided to bring awareness to the issue by doing a podcast," reveals Los, on Twitter. "I’m going to teach !!!!! I deleted my post and I hope he finds it in his heart to erase his post on Kobe. I can’t change his heart but I can change how we are seen as I represent class and scholarship. I’m coming Tony !!!!"
At the very least, both men were able to find common ground and agree to settle the matter a (hopefully) healthy discourse. Rest in peace, Kobe.
