He may be a comedian, but Dave Chappelle is also respected as a commentator on the culture. For decades, Chappelle has used his talents, and his platform, in an effort to shed light on issues plaguing politics, entertainment, and social justice issues. In a surprise move, in the wee hours of Friday (June 12) morning, Chappelle's 27-minute special 8:46with Netflix was shared. The special was reportedly filmed on June 6 in Yellow Springs, Ohio, where Chappelle spent much of his childhood.
In true Dave Chappelle fashion, he didn't hold back as he addressed the recent slayings of black people. During the special Chappelle called out controversial Black conservative Candace Owens, insulting her...uh, nether regions... in the process. “I seen Candace Owens try to convince white America, ‘Don’t worry about it. He’s a criminal anyway,'" Chappelle recalled of Owens making a 15-minute video of how George Floyd shouldn't be respected because of his criminal past. 'I don’t give a f*ck what this n*gga did. I don’t care what this n*gga did. I don’t care if he personally kicked Candace Owens in her stanky p*ssy. I don’t know if it stanks, but I imagine it does. If I ever find out, I’ll let you know for sure. I’ll tell like Azealia Banks. I’ll tell.”
The joke is a reference to Azealia Banks's recent confession that she had an affair with Dave Chappelle. "I have actually f*cked a lot of f*cking very powerful f*cking men," Banks said. "I should ruin your f*cking marriage, I should tell the world we f*cked. What the f*ck I'm keeping secrets from y'all n*ggas for? Nah, Dave Chappelle can fc*k me again. That was some good black d*ck."
Chappelle laughed at his own joke but didn't confirm whether or not Azealia Banks was telling the truth. Did you check out 8:46 yet? If so, what did you think about the Netflix special?
View this post on InstagramCandace Owens & Don Lemon Respond To Dave Chappelle’s Digs At Them In New Special
Candace Owens and Don Lemon both appeared to be fairly unbothered by Dave Chappelle calling them out in his new Netflix comedy special, "8:46."
Candace Owens and Don Lemon have both addressed what Dave Chappelle had to say about them in his new Netflix comedy special, "8:46," about George Floyd's murder and the subsequent protests, and neither of them are too upset about his comments. In his new special, which premiered at midnight on Friday (June 12th), the comedian discusses the police killing of George Floyd and everything that came after, all the while putting a few public figures on blast for how they've handled the situation. One of the targets of Dave's ire was right-wing pundit, Candace Owens, who sparked outrage recently after making disrespectful comments about George Floyd.
"Candace Owens, that rotten b*tch, she’s the worst. I can’t think of a worse way to make money. She’s the most articulate idiot I’ve ever seen in my f*cking life," Dave said, among other critiques he made about her. Candace heard that Dave had brought her up in his special, and insisted on Twitter that she wasn't offended at all.
"To every Democrat tweeting me the clip of #DaveChappelle insulting me: I’m not a leftist. I have a sense of humor & I think comedians SHOULD make fun of people," Candace tweeted. "Dave Chappelle is one of the greatest comedians of all time and I made it into one of his specials. That’s POWER!"
"We’ve arrived too suddenly into a culture where people can’t laugh at themselves, or want to restrain comedians," she continued. "I will never be a part of that culture. Dave Chappelle—you are legend and I’d love to meet you and challenge you to say any of that to my face! All love!"
Dave also went after Don Lemon in his special for publicly naming celebrities who had yet to speak out on George Floyd's death at the time. "Do you want to see a celebrity right now?” Dave asked, in response to Don's plea. “Does it matter about celebrity? No, this is the streets talking for themselves, they don’t need me right now…Why would anyone care what their favourite comedian thinks after they saw a police officer kneel on a man’s neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds?” Don responded to Dave's comments on-air, indicating that, "I actually agree with Dave Chappelle."
"I agree that I think the establishment has been a bit behind—and I consider myself part of the establishment because I am over 40 years old," Don said. "They think that part of the world that we created and what we did, maybe we didn't move fast enough and we weren't strong enough and so they are out there fighting...I think they're not only speaking to the white people in this country, but also to all of us in the establishment. I think it's a moment we should all be using our platform to do whatever we can."
Elsewhere in his Netflix special, Dave took aim at Fox News host Laura Ingraham for her hypocrisy in supporting Drew Brees speaking out on politics but telling LeBron James to "shut up and dribble" back in 2018.
Dave Chappelle Goes After Candace Owens, Don Lemon, & More In George Floyd Special
Dave Chappelle called out a number of public figures in his new Netflix stand up special, in which he discusses the recent police killing of George Floyd.
Dave Chappelle returned to the stand-up stage in a new surprise Netflix special about the recent police killing of George Floyd, subsequent protests against police brutality and systemic racism, and everything in between. The special aired without promo in the early hours of the morning on Friday (June 12th), and sees the comedian laying into the media for how they’ve handled the murder of George Floyd and begging America to get on board with these protests.

Dave begins the special by describing why this police killing of a Black American in particular was the last straw. “When I watched that tape I understood this man knew he was going to die,” he said, noting that it took him a week to finally be able to watch the horrific footage. “People watched it, people filmed it and for some reason that I still don’t understand, all these f*cking police had their hands in their pockets. Who are you talking to? What are you signifying? That you can kneel on a man’s neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds and feel like you wouldn’t get the wrath of God? That is what is happening right now. It’s not for a single cop, it’s for all of it, f*cking all of it. I don’t mean to get heavy but we gotta say something.”
He goes on to ridicule CNN’s Don Lemon for famously calling out certain rich and powerful celebrities who hadn’t spoken out on this issue at the time. “[Lemon] says, ‘Where are all these celebrities? Why are you not talking?’ This n***a said, ‘Everybody.’ I was screaming at the TV, ‘I dare you to say me, n***a, I dare you!’ Has anyone ever listened to me doing comedy? Have I not ever said anything about these things before? So now all of a sudden this n***a expects me to step in front of the streets and talk over the work these people are doing as a celebrity.”

“Answer me: Do you want to see a celebrity right now?” he continued. “Do we give a f*ck what Ja Rule thinks? Does it matter about celebrity? No, this is the streets talking for themselves, they don’t need me right now. I kept my mouth shut. And I’ll still keep my mouth shut. But don’t think my silence is complicit…Why would anyone care what their favourite comedian thinks after they saw a police officer kneel on a man’s neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds?”
Dave also ripped into the right-wing media by calling Fox News’ Laura Ingraham “a regular-ass white b*tch with a platform” and “a c*nt” for insisting Drew Brees has a right to his opinion about politics while telling LeBron James to “shut up and dribble” in 2018 for his activism. Next, Dave targeted Trump-supporting “free thinker” Candace Owens for her insensitive and disrespectful comments about George Floyd.

“I’ve seen Candace Owens try to convince white America, ‘Don’t worry about it. He’s a criminal anyway,’” Dave says. “I don’t give a f*ck what this n***a did. I don’t care what this n***a did. Candace Owens, that rotten b*tch, she’s the worst. I can’t think of a worse way to make money. She’s the most articulate idiot I’ve ever seen in my f*cking life.” He goes on to drag her for suggesting that Black America had “chosen” Floyd to be their hero despite his past.
“‘Why does the black community make him a hero? Why did you choose him as a hero?’ We didn’t choose him; you did,” he tells Candace. “They killed him and that wasn’t right, so he’s the guy. We’re not desperate for heroes in the black community. Anyone who survives this nightmare is my god damn hero.” Watch the full special, titled “8:46,” below:
T.I. Gives Up On Candace Owens And Terry Crews
T.I. explains why he’s ready to wash his hands of Candace Owens and Terry Crews, who he deems detrimental to the community’s cause.
These days, cancel culture has raised the number of public apologies up a staggering two-hundred percent. While some are willing to consider giving second chances, others are far less patient. For T.I, that point of no return has come with regards to both Candace Owens and Terry Crews. The Atlanta mogul recently connected with Nick Cannon to explain the finer points of his reasoning, essentially confirming that his hands were all but washed of the aforementioned two.

Though Tip maintains that canceling people can ultimately lead to further division, he does have a few exceptions in mind. “Some severe cases, like Candace Owens, she got to go,” declares Tip. “She can’t come. She can’t come!” Cannon points out the Tip previously used his platform to attempt discourse with Owens, but it would appear the time for logic and reason has gone through the window. “I think she a paid plant,” he speculates. “Somebody paid her to come out here against speak out against what the majority of us is standing for. She ain’t a double agent, she’s their agent. You’ve never seen her–you mean to tell me there’s no injustice against people of color you’ve ever seen!?”
“When this young lady was in college, something happened to her, an attack,” he continues. “She called out to the community, and she got justice in her case. Ever since then, she seems to have forgotten that she’s black. She has turned in her black card and crossed over.” Tip proceeds to set his sights on Terry Crews, who recently stoked controversy with a tweet critical of Black supremacy. “He’s trying to instruct the community to not be so harsh as it pertains to dealing with white supremacy,” says Tip. “We can’t have Black supremacy because we don’t have the tools to oppress.”
Check out Tip and Cannon’s conversation, with Candace talk taking place around the eighteen-minute mark.
Candace Owens Attacks NSYNC’s Lance Bass In Strange Twitter Fight
Candace Owens heard that Lance Bass called her out for racist rhetoric, so she took to Twitter to blast the singer.
Kicking up dust once again is Candace Owens who decided today was the day to make Lance Bass her next target. The controversial conservative often rubs people the wrong with her remarks, and most recently she went viral after sharing a video of herself condemning George Floyd's character. Candace Owens wasn't happy to see that the public made Floyd some sort of icon when, in her eyes, he was a longtime criminal with a substance abuse problem.
Zach Gibson / Stringer / Getty ImagesCandace has returned and this time, she has NYSNC singer Lance Bass squarely in her crosshairs. "Apparently, @LanceBass—known to most of us as Justin Timberlake’s fourth back-up singer from decades past—has been going off about me on Facebook bc he thinks any black person that won’t support BLM ain’t black. Lance, you peaked in high school. Nobody cares what you think."
She added, "Maybe when JT wins another lifetime achievement award, he’ll invite you sing back up again. Until then— why don’t shut up. My grandfather didn’t live through segregation so that one day a white boy could to tell me how to behave like a good little black girl. @LanceBass." The singer didn't take the comments lying down, and he made sure to let her know that he never made any such remarks.
"And for the record, I never and would never question the 'blackness' of any black person. Despite their viewpoints. I simply called her a fraud for these reasons...," he wrote in the caption to an article that called Candace Owens a con-artist. "And btw, never once did I say a black person isn’t really black for not supporting #BLM. Again more lies coming from your end per usual. I simply stated that YOU promote racist ideologies that overtly diminish the black community to appeal to a white ignorant base. Clear now?"
"Oh and @RealCandaceO—it says more about you than me that your using this this '4th string has-been back up dancer' to get attention for your book. And please, as if you didn’t have my poster on your wall. WE SEE YOU." Check it all out below.
Colby Covington Declares Candace Owens "Ultimate Fact Champion"
Colby Covington and Candace Owens are the best of friends.
Candace Owens has been under fire as of late and for good reason. When it comes to her talking points, it is very clear that she is a grifter for the Republican party and Conservative viewpoints as a whole. Ever since the murder of George Floyd, Owens has been everywhere in the news and large platforms like GoFundMe are actively trying to get rid of her. At this point, very few support Owens, except for her best MMA friend Colby Covington.
Covington, who had the living daylights knocked out of him by Kamaru Usman at UFC 245, took to Twitter yesterday where he declared Owens the "Ultimate Fact Champion." Of course, if you break down that phrase you get the UFC acronym which is truly a whole new level of corny.
"@realcandaceowens is the Ultimate Fact Champion!!! Facts don’t care about your feelings. I will always stand for the flag and I will always stand by fellow patriots! God Bless Candace Owens and God Bless America," Covington wrote.
Covington is known as the UFC's biggest Trump supporter and when he fought Usman a few months ago, he had Owens right by his side. Clearly, she was anything but a good luck charm.
Regardless, it seems like this MAGA friendship is thriving.
Candace Owens Blocked From GoFundMe For George Floyd Disrespect
Candace Owens has been suspended by GoFundMe after she dragged George Floyd's character.
Conservative commentator Candace Owens has been extremely vocal in the last week as protests continue to divide the country. The murder of George Floyd sparked public outrage, which has led to this current state of social and political unrest. Owens is not pleased about how Floyd is being painted as a hero though, taking to numerous platforms to attempt to tear down his character.
"George Floyd is being uplifted like he's an amazing human being, and for those of you who have not yet seen the clips or did not pursue or wait for more clips to come out—first and foremost, George Floyd, at the time of his arrest was high on fentanyl and he was high on methamphetamine," said Owens before speaking about his criminal history.
She went on to say even more, claiming that he should not be celebrated on Twitter.
"We should not be honoring #GeorgeFloyd," she wrote after slandering Joe Biden.
Moses Robinson/Getty ImagesIn the latest development surrounding Candace Owens, the commentator has been suspended from her GoFundMe account as a direct result of her comments about George Floyd.
The decision was made to block her account on Sunday after she had raised over $200,000 for an Alabama bar owner who called Floyd a "thug."
"GoFundMe has suspended the account associated with Candace Owens and the GoFundMe campaign has been removed because of a repeated pattern of inflammatory statements that spread hate, discrimination, intolerance and falsehoods against the black community at a time of profound national crisis," said the company in a statement. "These actions violate our terms of service."
Owens responded to the ban, confirming that the money will still go to the bar.
"While I am glad they will give the funds raised this far to the cafe to the owner, I am angry that such a blatant form of discrimination is acceptable by @gofundme. There was NOTHING intolerant or violent about raising funds to help a conservative business owner," she said.
Candace Owens Ties Black Lives Matter To Election Times
Candace Owens links Black Lives Matter to election years, saying that "white liberals" only care about black lives when there's an election.
Candace Owens recently voiced her controversial opinion about George Floyd, claiming that we should not be honoring him because he was "not an amazing person." She has continued her divisive remarks by drawing a line between Black Lives Matter and election periods.
Using her platform on Twitter, the conservative political commentator argued that "white liberals" only care about Black Lives Matter when an election is approaching.
"This chart reveals how much the topic 'black lives matter' receives airtime in the media every year," showing a graph of the search traffic the organization has gotten in the last five years. It shows a spike in 2016 and in 2020.
"You will see it peaked in 2016 and it is now peaking again in 2020. How are black people still falling for this election time narrative?" she asked.
Zach Gibson/Getty ImagesEarlier this week, Owens was criticized for her take on George Floyd, also coming after the black community and urging them to think like her.
"Black lives only matter to white liberals, every 4 years, ahead of an election," she said. "I’m so sorry to those of you that thought otherwise."
What do you make of Candace Owens' take on this? Be kind in the comments and remember that people are entitled to their own opinions.
Candace Owens’ George Floyd Disrespect Continues: "We Should Not Be Honoring"
Candace Owens comes after Joe Biden and Piers Morgan while also claiming that we should not be championing George Floyd.
Candace Owens has been voicing her controversial opinion regarding George Floyd, attacking his character and claiming that he was "not an amazing person." She is continuing her disrespectful remarks by doubling down on them, heading to Twitter and telling her network that they should not be celebrating his life.
American conservative commentator and Trump supporter Candace Owens struck a nerve with her recent comments. She commented during George Floyd's memorial service in Minneapolis to speak her mind even further, causing even more of a divide.
"Ghosted by Meghan Markle. Ghosted by President Trump. Treading to remain relevant by pretending to care about black American issues that he knows nothing about," she said about Piers Morgan after he dissed her for her take. "@piersmorgan — keep your white savior bullshit to yourself."
She then went on to take aim at Joe Biden, while also continuing her contemptuous remarks about Floyd.
"And a former VP @JoeBiden will attend his funeral to honor him," she started. "Imagine the black woman who survived this attack while pregnant. People are out here painting murals of him. It’s too much. Derek Chauvin should be imprisoned, but we should not be honoring #GeorgeFloyd."
Needless to say, her recent social activity has painted her even further as somebody that stands in front of those wishing for progress.
Candace Owens Gets Lit Up For Disrespectful Comments About George Floyd
Candace Owens got some serious backlash for her comments about George Floyd, in which she attacked his character and made claims about his alleged criminal past.
Candace Owens' recent comments about how George Floyd was "neither a martyr or a hero" did not sit well with many people, and they're making sure everyone knows why she's a clown. On Wednesday (June 3rd), Candace posted a 15-minute video explaining why she doesn't agree with the supposed narrative that's been pushed about George Floyd, the 46-year-old Black man who was recently killed by former officer Derek Chauvin in Minneapolis.
The Conservative commentator brought up some alleged details about Floyd that are somehow relevant, namely that he was allegedly on fentanyl when he was arrested and that he has an alleged criminal past that includes armed robbery. It appears that the point of her video was to prove that Floyd was no angel, but many Twitter users were rightfully outraged by how insensitive and unnecessary her "message" was.
