It appears that reality star, Ms. Minnie, was at fault for the fatal car accident that caused her tragic death last week, according to the official police report. It was announced that the Little Women: Atlanta star, whose real name was Ashley Ross, had passed away at the age of 34 after sustaining injuries from a hit-and-run car accident. The news was a sudden shock to her friends, family, and fans of the show, many of whom took to social media to mourn the loss of Ms. Minnie.

According to the official police report obtained by TMZ, Minnie had swerved off the road just prior to the fatal crash. Based on eyewitness testimony and the responding officer’s observations, Minnie lost control of her car while driving on the highway, and attempted to regain control by jerking right, which caused her to briefly go off-road. She abruptly swerved back to the left, colliding with another vehicle in the opposite lane. While neither of the drivers were thrown from their vehicles, Minnie was found unresponsive on the scene, and would later be pronounced dead. The other motorist survived, but was rushed to the hospital with complaints of pain.

The report officially states that Minnie was at fault for the accident. It also indicates that no drug or alcohol tests were done on either driver. According to TMZ, an autopsy has not been performed on Minnie, nor are there plans to do so. Her cause of death will thus likely be listed as a result of blunt force trauma. Minnie’s family is holding a memorial for her this weekend, allowing only ten of her closest loved ones to attend due to coronavirus restrictions. The event will be live streamed for those who wish to virtually pay their respects. RIP Ms. Minnie.

Eric B.’s daughter is in critical condition after suffering severe neck and spine fractures in a car crash this weekend.

According to a report from PageSix, the daughter of the famed hip-hop pioneer was hospitalized after a serious car crash in Connecticut on Sunday. Reports say Erica Barrier is in extreme critical condition after suffering from severe neck and spine fractures, among many other life threatening injuries.

The accident was first reported on social media, when the Instagram feed “The Real Sister2Sister 2.0” posted: “Erica Supreme Barrier, the daughter of music legend Eric Barrier (Eric B) is in extreme critical condition this morning after a horrific car crash in Connecticut.”

The post added that, “Barrier is suffering from severe neck and spine fractures, among her many life threatening injuries, confirmed Eric B’s long time publicist,” and that, “The family is at her bedside and asking for your prayers.”

Connecticut police confirmed to PageSix that Erica was in a Mini Cooper Countryman on I-91 in Connecticut just before 1 a.m. on Sunday morning when it “stopped in the center lane” and an oncoming truck “was unable to stop in time and impacted the rear of [Erica’s car].”

She “sustained serious injuries,” according to the police report, “and was transported to Hartford Hospital.” The truck driver was not injured, according to police. The investigation is ongoing. We wish her a full and speedy recovery.

The scene where Kevin Hart and two friends got into a near-fatal car accident has finally been repaired, five months after the horrific crash. Last September, Kevin and his friends, Jared Black and Jared’s fiancée, Rebecca Broxterman, were involved in a car accident in Calabasas after the driver, Jared, lost control of Kevin’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda and swerved off Mulholland Drive. The vehicle crashed through a fence and landed in a ditch, resulting in some “major back injuries” for Jared and Kevin, who was in the passenger seat. Rebecca, who was in the backseat, however, did not suffer any substantial injuries. The Blast reports that now, five months after the incident occurred, the white fence through which the vehicle crashed has been completely repaired.

Following the near-death experience, Kevin went on to get emergency spinal surgery in order to restabilize his back, and was required to undergo weeks of rehabilitation. Since then, the comedian has spoken out on several occasions about the crash and how it has affected him. Most recently, he spoke to Men’s Health about how the experience pushed him to become the best version of himself that he could be. “I’m not trying to get back to where I was before—I want to be better than before. It’s a resurrection,” he said. “I feel like the other version of myself died in that moment and this new version was born to understand and to do better.” It has been reported that neither Kevin nor Jared or Rebecca will be filing lawsuits in relation to the crash.

Over the past few months, UFC legend BJ Penn has been in the news for all of the wrong reasons. Back in August, Penn was caught on camera getting into a street fight in Miami. Just a month prior to that, Penn was seen battling a strip club bouncer outside of an establishment. Dana White also came out and banned Penn from any further fights until he gets his act together.

Now, things have reportedly gone from bad to worse for Penn. According to TMZ, Penn was driving in Hawaii recently when his truck flipped multiple times on the highway. Penn was brought to the hospital where he was quickly released. In the aftermath of the accident, Penn is being investigated for driving under the influence. This investigation was prompted after a tip was sent ton 911 saying Penn was speeding.

Considering Penn’s recent history, we hope he’s able to find some peace in this trying time. As he continues to recover from the car accident that nearly took his life, it looks as if there won't be any legal action taken in connection to the incident. There was much speculation about what court proceedings would unfold in the months after Hart's near-fatal accident in September 2019. The actor's two friends Jared Black and Black's fiancée Rebecca Broxterman were in the vehicle with Hart, and while the actor wasn't driving at the time, he was the owner of the restored 1970 Plymouth Barracuda.

There were reports that the vehicle wasn't equipped with proper safety harnesses and no one was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, either. The two other passengers were reportedly treated and released for minor injuries, however, Hart underwent spinal surgery and continues his physical rehabilitation.

TMZ reports that investigators have faulted the driver for the crash because "he allegedly gunned the vehicle's 720-HP engine and lost control." Not long after the accident, all passengers called on their lawyers as they anticipated potential lawsuits, but nothing has materialized. There also hasn't been any money exchanged between any of the parties involved, who are all friends. 

In his first statement following the accident back in October 2019, Kevin made it clear that he harbored no ill-will toward his friends. "I have nothing but love for Jared and wish him and Rebecca a speedy recovery," Hart stated. TMZ also shared that it's unlikely that any lawsuits will be filed in this case, but all parties do have three years to do so.

If you’re ever in trouble and Shaquille O’Neal just happens to be in the neighborhood, just know Superhero Shaq is on the way. The NBA icon has developed a reputation for helping those in need when dire circumstances seem to arise, and things weren’t any different on Monday. According to TMZ, Shaq was making his way through the East Village in New York City when there was a bit of commotion on the street. He saw that a woman had fainted in the middle of a crosswalk, so he rushed to her aid.

Shaq reportedly jumped out of his car and with the help of a few other NYC residents, helped the woman regain consciousness. Shaq and company stayed by the woman’s side until emergency responders arrived, although drivers weren’t happy, and it’s reported that her fainting episode was connected to her diabetes diagnosis.

Back in 2018, Shaq was on his way to hand out turkeys during the Thanksgiving season with the Broward Sheriffs Office when he witnessed a car accident. There were children in one of the vehicles with their mother, so Shaq stayed with them to help calm them down from the jarring situation. While the deputies on site handled the situation with the adults, Shaq acted a makeshift babysitter. Check out a clip of that moment below.
