It's apparent that some of our favorite entertainers have opted to keep their mouths shut about this current political movement. Reporter Don Lemon recently stirred the pot when he called out celebrities, by name, who he believed should have used their platforms to condemn police brutality and injustice. Even so, there are plenty of others who remain silent, but it hasn't gone unnoticed—especially by Russ. The rapper-singer has taken to social media not only to raise awareness about Black Lives Matter but to put his money where his mouth is.
"Some artists are scared to lose their fanbase meanwhile black people are scared to lose their LIFE everyday," Russ wrote. Then, he shared a 2017 photo of himself wearing a t-shirt that reads: "If you want to change the system, speak up White silence is the problem." Russ decided to sell the shirt and give all proceeds to Black Lives Matter.
At the time of this publication, Russ has raised over $250K for the cause, and now he has his eyes set on $1 million. We'll have to wait and see if he'll be able to reach his goal, but for being just a few hours, this has been quite the accomplishment. Check out a few of his tweets below.
6ix9ine Challenges New York Rappers To Donate $100K To Charity, Says He’ll Match It
6ix9ine is challenging his fellow New York rappers to give back to their communities and says that if they don’t, they’re “bums.”
He may be one of the most controversial figures in the rap community currently, but that hasn’t stopped Tekashi 6ix9ine from calling out his fellow artists. Tekashi 6ix9ine made a slew of new enemies after he turned state’s witness against his Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods associates, and since the rapper’s release, he’s continued to make waves in the industry. On Thursday (May 28), in a since-deleted video, 6ix9ine had a message for other New York rappers, calling them out for not spending stacks in the state’s communities while buying themselves luxury items.
In his clip, 6ix9ine said that he has an issue with rappers who always say that they’re the “king” or the “prince” of New York, but don’t “put on nothing for the city.” The rapper went on to say that there are people who still don’t have jobs because of this COVID-19 pandemic and citizens are going hungry, but his fellow New York spitters haven’t done anything about it.
“IF YOU A RAPPER FROM NEW YORK AND YOU AINT GOT ATLEAST 100K TO GIVE BACK TO OUR CITY FOR PEOPLE IN NEED YOURE A BUM,” 6ix9ine wrote in the caption to his video. “GOD GIVES YOU A GIFT ITS NOT JUST FOR YOU ITS TO HELP OTHERS IN NEED. BROKE N*GGAS GONNA IGNORE IT.” This has been interpreted as a jab to Lil Tjay who recently made claims that he’s the King of New York. Check out 6ix9ine’s video and message in full below.

The match was played as teams with Woods and Manning taking on Mickelson and Brady. Woods and Manning emerged victorious.
“Phil said he was nervous, so imagine us,” Manning said afterward. “To go behind the ropes and get in these guys world and in the arena with them was really an incredible experience.
“I was not comfortable the whole time but raising $20 million as people are going through such tough times, it’s something I’ll always remember and cherish.”
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson contributed to the donations, offering up 100,000 meals if anyone hit it within 12 feet off the tee on the Par 3, 16th. Three golfers were able to put the ball close enough and he ending up donating 300,000 meals.
“It’s great, the fact that we all came together and we were able to raise $20 million for those that have been so severely affected,” Woods said, Gray. “This is our arena. This is what we do. We couldn’t imagine going out onto the field and doing what they do.”
The PGA Tour is scheduled to resume June 8 with the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas.

6ix9ine Donation Will Happily Be Accepted By Charity: "We Welcome It"
6ix9ine recently tried to donate $200K to No Kid Hungry, but they rejecting his money. Another charity has stepped forward to say they’ll take it.
If No Kid Hungry doesn’t want Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s money, there’s another charity out there who has reached out to say that they’ll take his cash without an issue. Tekashi 6ix9ine has been stirring things up ever since he made a wrecking ball of a return to social media. The disgraced rapper has been the talk of the rap scene for the better part of a year as his federal case played out in real-time. After the rapper turned informant against his Nine Trey Gangsta Blood associates, the fate of his career hung in the balance. It seems that the world has accepted 6ix9ine with open arms, as he’s breaking records with his new single, “GOOBA.”
Recently, 6ix9ine attempted to give a generous donation of $200K to the charity No Kid Hungry, but they issued a statement saying that they politely declined his offer. The rapper blasted them in response, calling them “cruel” for holding out on funds that could help feed children. Now, another organization has contacted TMZ in hopes that Tekashi 6ix9ine will send that $200K its way.
Kooking 4 Kids made it clear that they don’t care where their donations come from. “If there is an individual that wants to help address hunger in Los Angeles, we welcome it,” the charity shared with TMZ. “How that person wants to live their life is for them to decide.” Kooking 4 Kids reportedly “travels to 4 different parts of L.A. weekly and serves about 1,600-1,800 free meals to children and parents every day … and they always run out.”
The rejection from No Kid Hungry sparked a debate about if all money is good money, but in the meantime, somebody call 6ix9ine and tell him to get his checkbook ready.
6ix9ine Blasts No Kid Hungry Non-Profit For Rejecting $200K Donation
Tekashi 6ix9ine attempted to make a large donation, but the charity didn’t want anything to do with him.
He’s been pegged to be a professional and social pariah, and now it’s reported that even charities don’t want anything to do with Tekashi 6ix9ine. The rapper has made a triumphant and bold return to the rap scene within the last week, and it’s been quite profitable for the young star. While there are artists that want nothing to do with the federal informant, 6ix9ine has returned to trolling the masses for profit. He’s jumped on Instagram Live to share his side of his courtroom story, hoping people will understand his perspective. Even still, he’s berated his fellow artists, engaged in online arguments, and has been called out by the mother of his daughter on multiple occasions.
In an effort to appear altruistic, Tekashi 6ix9ine attempted to make a generous donation of $200K to No Kid Hungry. Not long after the news of the donation circulated, the non-profit organization issued a statement saying that they’ve decided to refuse the offer. “We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’s generous offer to donate to No Kid Hungry but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation,” they stated. “As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values.”
After catching wind of the news, 6ix9ine blasted the organization for refusing money that would help children. “@nokidhungry rather take food out the mouth of these innocent children I never seen something so cruel.” Someone call up one of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s foes and have them match that donation.

Conor McGregor Personally Delivers Supplies To Local Hospital
Conor McGregor is looking to help the people of Ireland.
These past couple of months have proven to be some of the most challenging in our lifetime. The Coronavirus has claimed the lives of over 200,000 people while over three million people have been diagnosed with the virus, worldwide. There doesn’t appear to be any sort of end in sight and hospitals are struggling to cope with the increase in demand. Charitable contributions are needed now more than ever and numerous athletes and celebrities are doing their best to make sure everyone has what they need to make it through this crisis.
UFC superstar Conor McGregor has been taking this crisis seriously from the start and now, he is making sure hospitals get what they so desperately need. In fact, McGregor made a personal delivery to the Crumlin Children’s Hospital in Dublin where he dropped off medical supplies such as masks.
In total, McGregor has donated over 1 million euros of medical supplies to hospitals throughout Ireland. These contributions are huge and will certainly go a long way in helping a country that has been hit hard by the virus.
McGregor’s visit to the hospital also appeared to be a morale boost for the staff who have been affected the most by this ordeal.
