Former WWE superstar CM Punk has gotten into twitter feuds with several current wrestlers since rejoining the world of professional wrestling as part of the "WWE Backstage" studio show on FS1. Naturally, wrestling fans hoped that one of the internet beefs would actually lead to Punk's in-ring return but, as of now, nothing has materialized.
During a recent interview on the Swings & Mrs. show, Punk revealed the four matches he'd actually consider coming out of retirement for “if the slate was clean, if the money was right.”

According to Punk, Daniel Bryan, John Cena and Rey Mysterio are on his short life of potential dream matches, as is New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Will Ospreay.
"As far as people that I’ve worked with before, if there was a clean slate, if the money was right, I think a guy like Daniel Bryan, I would go, ‘I would listen to your idea.’ If you said John Cena, I’d probably listen to your idea. Rey Mysterio, I would listen to your idea. For people I haven’t ever wrestled before, I think Will Ospreay, I would listen to your idea. There’s a lot of moving parts. I’m busy doing other stuff and nobody has found the right combination of ways to approach me. It’s not all up to me, ladies and gentlemen, it’s up to the people who actually run the company."
During his time with the WWE, Punk was a two-time WWE champion which included an impressive reign of 434 days. His last in-ring appearance came as a participant in the 30-man Royal Rumble in 2014.

One of the biggest pay-per-view events on the WWE calendar, the Royal Rumble, is scheduled to take place this Sunday, January 26th, at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas.
As always, the PPV’s namesake match will feature surprise returns and call-ups from NXT, with the potential for some WWE legends getting in the mix as well. In fact, the Bovada sportsbook’s odds for the men’s Royal Rumble Match suggests that a couple of retired superstars are among the favorites to outlast the competition.

According to Bovada, Edge has the sixth best odds of punching a ticket to WrestleMania, just slightly behind CM Punk. There have been rumors of both superstars returning to the ring in recent weeks, and what better stage to do so than at the Royal Rumble? Edge and Punk have both denied any reports of their return to WWE, both the rumors have persisted nonetheless.
As for the rest of the field, Roman Reigns is slotted as the favorite to be the last man standing, ahead of heavyweights like Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre and former UFC champion Cain Velasquez. Other notable names include John Cena (25/1), Tyson Fury (25/1), The Rock (45/1), The Undertaker (70/1) and Conor McGregor (70/1).

CM Punk Goes Scorched Earth On The Miz: WWE Fans React
CM Punk issues harsh response to the A-Lister.
WWE superstar The Miz was a featured guest during Tuesday night's episode of WWE Backstage on FS1 and, of course, he felt like his particular episode was the best so far.
In a video posted to the WWE on Fox twitter account following the show, the A-Lister was seen bragging about how good the show, when co-hosts Renee Young and Paige contented that some previous episodes might have been better. No issues there, just some good ole fashioned banter.
The Miz then took a subtle jab at CM Punk by saying, "oh, sorry I didn't change the culture," referencing a comment made by Punk during his first appearance on the WWE Backstage. As it turns out, Punk didn't take that joke lightly.
The former WWE champ posted the following tweet on Wednesday morning in response to the video: "Go suck a blood money covered dick in Saudi Arabia, you fucking dork." Yikes.
Naturally, WWE fans had plenty to say about that tweet, which has since been deleted. Check out some of the reactions below.
