Candace Owens has been under fire as of late and for good reason. When it comes to her talking points, it is very clear that she is a grifter for the Republican party and Conservative viewpoints as a whole. Ever since the murder of George Floyd, Owens has been everywhere in the news and large platforms like GoFundMe are actively trying to get rid of her. At this point, very few support Owens, except for her best MMA friend Colby Covington.
Covington, who had the living daylights knocked out of him by Kamaru Usman at UFC 245, took to Twitter yesterday where he declared Owens the "Ultimate Fact Champion." Of course, if you break down that phrase you get the UFC acronym which is truly a whole new level of corny.
"@realcandaceowens is the Ultimate Fact Champion!!! Facts don’t care about your feelings. I will always stand for the flag and I will always stand by fellow patriots! God Bless Candace Owens and God Bless America," Covington wrote.
Covington is known as the UFC's biggest Trump supporter and when he fought Usman a few months ago, he had Owens right by his side. Clearly, she was anything but a good luck charm.
Regardless, it seems like this MAGA friendship is thriving.
Tyron Woodley Takes Aim At Colby Covington As Replacement Opponent
Tyron Woodley is still committed to fighting this weekend, but says Colby Covington is too scared to step in as Edwards' replacement.
The coronavirus pandemic has shut down every major sports league, but Dana White is still intent on putting on fights for the people left wondering what to watch in a sports-free world. Although this Saturday's UFC card will not be taking place in London as originally planned, the company is still hoping to host an event in the United States barring a government shutdown.
If that is indeed going to be the case, the UFC must find a replacement to fight Tyron Woodley in the main event, due to the fact that Leon Edwards was forced to withdraw. Several fighters have expressed a willingness to scrap with the former Welterweight champ this Saturday, but none have gotten Woodley's attention more than former interim welterweight champ, Colby Covington.
Despite Covington's claims that he's prepared to take the fight on short notice, Woodley says the man is nothing more than a scared bitch. In a video posted to social media on Sunday, Woodley (19-4-1 MMA, 9-3-1 UFC) addressed the status of Saturday's card and issued the following statement about Covington in particular:
“There’s a lot of people out there that are straight clout chasing, attention seeking bitches. Colby, you a bitch. Don’t ever fucking open your mouth. You guys should bash him, y’all should slay him. He put all this shit on the internet about him wanting to fight me and I said yes immediately. That’s the fight that made the most sense anyway. That’s the fight I was supposed to get before Leon Edwards and they said he couldn’t fight because of his jaw. The second they booked the fight between me and Leon, now all of a sudden he’s healthy and can fight. He a bitch, he all cap, he want attention. He’s declined me four fucking times so I don’t want to talk about Colby. He’s a fucking bitch. He’s scared.”
UFC on ESPN+ 29 is currently scheduled to take place Saturday, March 21st ESPN+, but a venue has not yet been confirmed. Check out Woodley's comments about Covington in the video embedded below.

Covington wants to go heads up with 50 in a celebrity boxing match.
UFC Welterweight Colby Covington has begun laying the groundwork for his next fight... he just needs 50 Cent to agree to the terms.
During an appearance on the Ariel Helwani Show on Monday, Covington challenged 50 to a celebrity boxing match, vowing to put up his own $1 million if the Queens-native is willing to fight. Furthermore, Covington tells Helwani that he'd do it all with one hand tied behind his back.
Says Covington:
“I want to do a celebrity boxing match. I’m going to tie one hand behind my back and I’m going to fight 50 Cent. I’m going to put up $1 million of my dollars. I want to fight 50 Cent in a celebrity boxing match. I’ll donate all of my money to the troops because I love the troops so much. They protect our freedom. They put it all on the line for America. I want to fight 50 Cent.”
“I’m going to tie my left hand behind my back, or my right one,” Covington said. “He can pick. It doesn’t really matter because both are lethal.”
The beef stems from 50's comments on instagram following Covington's fifth-round TKO loss to Kamaru Usman at UFC 245. At the time, 50 posted a photo along with the caption, "Enjoy the broken jaw, you racist piece of shit.”
Covington, however, says his jaw was never broken and he is eager to settle the score in the ring.
“Nah, I didn’t break my jaw in the fight,” Covington told Helwani (H/T MMA Junkie). “Does my jaw look broken? I’ve been smiling. I’ve been with all my mamacitas, you know? The only person that’s gotten their jaw wired shut is 50 Cent. If you want to talk about people who’ve gotten their jaw wired shut, let’s talk about 50 Cent. He says, ‘Oh, I got shot nine times.’ If he got shot one time by me, he wouldn’t get back up. 50 Cent is a little bitch.”
