The release of the new James Bond film, No Time To Die, has officially been postponed to November due to Coronavirus-related health concerns. This news was shared on the Bond franchise's official Twitter page. "MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, announced today that after careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace, the release of NO TIME TO DIE will be postponed until November 2020. The film will be released in the U.K. on November 12, 2020 with worldwide release dates to follow, including the US launch on November 25, 2020."
The Bond fans that rallied for the production companies to take this course of action will be satisfied. In an open letter titled "No Time For Indecision", the founders of two James Bond fan sites have urged for No Time To Die to be delayed. The movie's premiere was previously scheduled for April 3, but as news about the Coronavirus outbreak continues to worsen, people are hesitant about hitting up theaters. "With the Coronavirus reaching pandemic status, it is time to put public health above marketing release schedules and the cost of canceling publicity events," reads the letter.
The writers of the letter - James Page, who co-founded MI6 and MI6 Confidential magazine, and David Leigh, who founded The James Bond Dossier - then go on to cite several instances of major preventative actions that have been taken across the world in response to Coronavirus. They also argue for the likelihood of movie theaters continuing to temporarily close, as they can be conducive to the spreading of germs. "Even if there are no legal restrictions on cinemas being open, to quote M in Skyfall, 'how safe do you feel?'"

For these reasons, Page and Leigh are imploring for the release of No Time To Die to be delayed until the summer, "when experts expect the epidemics to have peaked and to be under control." They close the letter with a final compelling argument: "Another few months will not damage the quality of the film and only help the box-office for Daniel Craig’s final hurrah."
Summer Walker Deletes Everything Amid Coronavirus Backlash
Summer Walker was accused of xenophobia after sharing a fake video of people "spreading" the coronavirus in China.
With misinformation regarding the coronavirus continuing to spread, people should be extra careful about what they share about the pandemic. Especially if you have a platform as large as Summer Walker, it can be seriously dangerous to post things about the virus without fact-checking beforehand. After sharing a fake video that allegedly showed people in China "spreading" the disease, Summer Walker faced a ton of backlash online, causing some fans to turn their back on her. In return, she went ahead and deleted everything from her page.
If you take a look at Summer Walker's Instagram profile right now, you'll notice that there are zero posts attached to the page. If you're looking for context on why that may be, her story would be the best place to look.
The rising R&B star exposed herself to another controversy after sharing a coronavirus-related video, which was revealed to actually be two years old. "That's some trifling nasty ass shit," wrote the star on the clip, which many are viewing as xenophobic. She has officially responded to the drama.
"Lol people so dumb, talking about I'm racist and that video was from a long time ago. It don't matter if it was from 20 years ago, bottom line that shit nasty & IDGAF if a black white yellow or green person did that shit, it's still nasty," she wrote on her story. "Lmao I literally don't give a fuck anymore this is app. It's not that serious. For my label Ima just delete all this shit."
She wasn't lying about that last bit. Not only did she get rid of the coronavirus video, but she also archived everything else that was present on her page.

Singaporean Student Wrongfully Beat Up Over Coronavirus
A Singaporean student was wrongfully assaulted in London over the coronavirus.
23-year-old, Jonathan Mok, was wrongfully beaten and assaulted after being accused of bringing the coronavirus to London. The UCL (University College London) student was walking down Oxford Street last Monday (Feb. 24), when he heard shouting about the novel coronavirus. After hearing remarks about his race and the COVID-19 virus, Mok decided to stand up for himself and was met by three to four men and woman who unleashed a surprise attack on the Singaporean collegiate student.

Mok has been living in London for the past two years for his collegiate studies and frequently returns to Singapore during holidays. During the incident, the student was instantaneously punched in the face twice and kicked by a group of unknown Londoners near the Tottenham Court Road station. London’s Metropolitan Police Service confirmed on Tuesday (March 2) that they are investigating the assault, but have made no arrest. During a brief interview with Channel News Asia, Jonathan Mok stated:
“I felt really angry … It is ridiculous people are being targeted for being Asian.”
Since Mok’s attack, the Singapore High Commission urged all Singaporeans to take precautions while in the UK and report any type of abuse to the local authorities. John Wok took to his Facebook page to write in-depth soliloquy about being racially discriminated against, part of his post reads:
“Last Monday, at roughly 9.15pm on Oxford Street in London, I walked past a group of young men, when I saw one of them look at me (just as he walked past me) and said something to me, which I could make out the word ‘coronavirus’. I was stunned and turned around to have a look at the man made the statement. He was still staring at me as he walked past and realised I was looking at him. He shouted ‘Don’t you dare look at me, you ____’ (I could not catch the last word because of the accent). Within 3 seconds, he was in my face, together with 3/4 other young men, and a young lady (all of whom seemed no older than 20 years old, but were all more than a head taller than me). I was shocked and angry because he directed a racist remark at me and had the audacity to shout at me like I had wronged him. All of a sudden, the first punch was swung at my face and took me by surprise. When I was still shocked by the first hit, the guy delivered the second sucker punch. By then, a few passers-by had stopped and one of them tried to reason with them that 4 on 1 was not fair. The attacker’s friend tried to swing a kick at me as I was explaining to the passer-by that I hadn’t done anything at all. I tried to react in self-defence but couldn’t do anything substantial because I was still recovering from a broken finger in my master hand. The guy who tried to kick me then said, ‘I don’t want your coronavirus in my country’”
While the President of the United States may believe the coronavirus is a hoax, major corporations have been taking hits from the spread from the disease and is leaving American citizens dead from the virus. Jonathan Mok’s targeted attack is not what society needs in order to battle this current pandemic, but is a result of ignorance about the deadly virus. With a vaccine allegedly developed, hopefully, humanity will be able to move past this egregious disease and move forward amicably.

50 Cent Reacts To Coronavirus Warning In New York City
Clearly, 50 Cent uses humor as a coping mechanism as officials declare that a Coronavirus outbreak will spread across New York City.
Coronavirus is real out here and officials are claiming that the city of New York will likely suffer an outbreak. According to CNBC, Monday morning recorded eighty-six confirmed cases of the diseases in the U.S. with New York City recently announcing a second confirmed case. Officials have now stated that there’s a good chance it will spread across all of NYC.

50 Cent, the South Side Jamaica Queens bully, has been using humor as a coping mechanism in the midst of the Coronavirus outbreak. Most recently, he shared a screenshot of an article from the NYT declaring the possible outbreak from officials. “The whole gang outside wit it?” He wrote jokingly. He then shared another photo of “corona virus in New York” — an animated germ with Timbs and a New York fitted.
Governor Andrew Cuomo confirmed the second case in New York City earlier today. Mayor Bill de Blasio also spoke on the newly announced case, saying the city is taking the necessary steps.
“With the results confirmed within a number of hours, we were immediately able to take next steps to stop the spread of this virus,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said. “We have said from the beginning that it is likely we will see more positive cases of the coronavirus.”

2 Chainz Reacts To Georgia Coronavirus Cases
Two new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the state of Georgia, and rapper 2 Chainz is not happy about it in the least bit.
You better keep the sanitizer on deck because coronavirus is out here and it’s spreading like wildfire. As the death toll continues to rise across the world, new cases of COVID-19 (coronavirus) continue to be reported in the United States, with Georgia becoming the latest state affected. While only two people have been infected with the virus in Georgia, that’s enough for everyone to start freaking out. The two individuals were returning home from a trip to Italy, which has been struck hard, and are currently in home isolation with minimal symptoms. That didn’t stop 2 Chainz from lashing out though.
“Mannnnn, yal done brought that shit to Wakanda,” wrote the rapper on Instagram. His response earned a comment from fellow Georgia resident T.I., who wrote, “U buuullshittin.”

Unfortunately, 2 Chainz was not capping about this. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Governor Brian Kemp confirmed the two cases and noted that they were prepared for this to happen.
“Georgians should remain calm,” said Kemp. “We were ready for today. We’re preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. This is not something we’re just now thinking about.”
Are you afraid about the growing risk of coronavirus? It’s definitely pretty fear-inducing, if you ask me.
NBA Sends Players Tips On How To Combat Coronavirus
The NBA is taking every precaution to make sure its players are safe.
Coronavirus is the virus that has people worried about a potential pandemic. Over 90,000 people have the virus now and many have died due to the disease. While there is still a lot we don't know about COVID-19, there is no denying just how scary it can be. Sports leagues all over the world are taking precautions to make sure players and fans are safe. The NBA is joining this fight now and according to TMZ, they recently released a memo with a bevy of suggestions for players.
In the memo, they say that players should avoid handshakes and daps. Instead, they should fist bump as it is a lot more sanitary. This memo also states that autograph signings should include a unique pen for each player and that they shouldn't share pens, basketballs, or even jerseys. In fact, CJ McCollum of the Trail Blazers recently stated that he was done with autograph signing until further notice.
"The health and safety of our employees, teams, players and fans is paramount," the NBA's statement read. "We are coordinating with our teams and consulting with the CDC and infectious disease specialists on the coronavirus and continue to monitor the situation closely."
For now, the Coronavirus remains a threat but if the NBA keeps taking these precautions, their players will certainly feel a lot safer, moving forward.
NCAA Pressured To Host Fan-Less March Madness Due To Coronavirus
Some believe the Coronavirus will make the tournament an unsafe environment for fans.
Coronavirus is perhaps one of the biggest viruses of our time when it comes to the rate of transmission and the potential for an epidemic. While there is still a lot we don’t know about the virus, people are still extremely scared about the possibility of catching it. This mass hysteria has led to flight cancelations, store closures, and even the collapse of the stock market. Now, sporting events could be affected. There have been talks about canceling the Olympics in Tokyo this summer and now, some want to see changes to the NCAA basketball March Madness tournament.
According to TMZ, the National College Players Association recently released a statement demanding the NCAA hold the March Madness tournament without any people in the stands. The organization believes that students and spectators could be at risk throughout the tournament and that no audience would make things a lot safer.

“In the wake of the emerging Coronavirus pandemic, the NCAA and its colleges should take precautions to protect college athletes,” the NCPA said. The NCAA recently responded to the statement saying they are taking every single precaution necessary and for now, the tournament will go on as planned.

First Case Of Coronavirus Confirmed In New York City
The coronavirus continues in NYC.
The first case of coronavirus in New York City has been confirmed and attributed to a woman in her late 30s who recently traveled to Iran. Per The New York Post, the woman is located in Manhattan. Governor Andrew Cuomo released a statement Sunday night as he officially announced the state's first case
“The patient, a woman in her late thirties, contracted the virus while traveling abroad in Iran, and is currently isolated in her home,” Cuomo said in the statement.
He went on to add that "there is no cause for surprise — this was expected...As I said from the beginning, it was a matter of when, not if there would be a positive case of novel coronavirus in New York.” The patient is self-quarantined in her Manhattan home with "respiratory symptoms," but Cuomo adds that she is "not in serious condition and has been in a controlled situation since arriving to New York."
Per protocol, the state department will be following up with anyone that the patient has had contact with during her travels back to New York. At this time, there are currently two other people in New York City awaiting test results for the COVDI-19 disease caused by the coronavirus.
Cuomo has maintained a position to quell fears in New York and beyond and curb "undue anxiety."
"The general risk remains low in New York," he added. "We are diligently managing this situation and will continue to provide information as it becomes available."
Coronavirus Leads To Massive Decline In Nike’s Market Value
The Coronavirus continues to be spread around the world and now, Nike is beginning to feel the effects.
Coronavirus is something that the whole world has become aware of over the past couple of months. The virus started in Wuhan, China and quickly spread throughout the entire country. Now, Coronavirus is in over 35 countries and it continues to spread at an alarming rate. Some countries have created travel restrictions to stop the virus while other places are seeing stock market crashes. In fact, some of the biggest companies in the world are feeling the effects of one of the worst outbreaks we have seen in a long time.
According to Forbes, Nike has seen a $17 billion decrease in its market value. This decrease comes in light of the fact that China is one of Nike’s biggest markets. The country makes up 15 percent of Nike’s total revenue and in 2019, China accounted for 40 percent of the profits. China is also one of the fastest-growing markets which makes it highly important to Nike’s operations.

The outbreak has caused Nike to close various stores throughout China and even the ones that are still open, have seen a steep decline in foot traffic. So much so, that operating hours have been affected. With this in mind, it shouldn’t be surprising that Nike had to experience a dip in its valuation.
Over the next few months, companies like Nike will be watching the Coronavirus closely. If the outbreak isn’t stopped, there could be some serious ramifications for the economy.
