The Brooklyn Nets confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that four players on the team had tested positive for coronavirus. Among them, superstar forward Kevin Durant.
According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, Durant has not shown any symptoms and says he's feeling fine as of now, but warned others to be mindful and keep themselves quarantined during this frightening time. Says Durant, "Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine. We're going to get through this."

Durant was reportedly with the Brooklyn Nets last week as they prepared to take on the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco. As we know, that game was scheduled to take place in an empty arena, but the NBA season was abruptly postponed once it was discovered that Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert had tested positive.
As of now, the Nets are the only team outside of the Jazz and Detroit Pistons who have had someone test positive for the coronavirus. Those infected include Utah's Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, as well as Detroit's Christian Wood. Worth noting, the Nets did not play the Jazz or the Pistons over the last two weeks before the shutdown.
As of this writing the other three Nets players who tested positive for the coronavirus have not yet been revealed. The team issued the following statement on Tuesday.
"All players and members of the Nets travel party are being asked to remain isolated, closely monitor their health and maintain constant communication with team medical staff," the Nets said in a statement. "The health of our players and staff is of the highest priority to the organization and the team is doing everything within its power to ensure that those affected receive the best care possible."
WWE Announces Updated Plans For Wrestlemania 36
WWE announces that Wrestlemania 36 will still be held on April 5th, but it won't take place at Raymond James Stadium.
While every other sports organization in the world has postponed their seasons and events in the aftermath of the coronavirus outbreak, Vincent Kennedy McMahon remains committed to hosting Wrestlemania 36 in less than three weeks. That said, the WWE's biggest PPV event of the year will not be held in front of 70,000 fans at Raymond James Stadium as originally planned.
The WWE recently issued an official statement regarding the status of Wrestlemania 36, revealing that the event will now take place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Needless to say, fans will not be allowed inside the building.
The company's statement reads:
"In coordination with local partners and government officials, WrestleMania and all related events in Tampa Bay will not take place. However, WrestleMania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view. Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania."
WWE has filmed their flagship programs, Raw and SmackDown, at the training facility since last week. If you've tuned in, you likely agree that it was incredible difficult to watch, or be invested in, any of the matches at the empty arena. Nonetheless, it appears as though the show will go.
Matches currently scheduled for Wrestlemania 36 are as follow:
WWE Championship Match: Brock Lesnar (c) vs Drew McIntyre
WWE Universal Championship Match: Goldberg (c) vs Roman Reigns
WWE NXT Women’s Championship Match: Rhea Ripley (c) vs Charlotte Flair
RAW Women’s Championship Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs Shayna Baszler
Last Man Standing Match: Edge vs. Randy Orton
John Cena vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt
The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles
Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins
Multiple Brooklyn Nets Players Diagnosed With Coronavirus
The Coronavirus continues to make its way throughout the NBA.
Just last week, the NBA had to suspend all of its operations due to the fact that one of its players contracted the Coronavirus. Of course, that player was Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz. The disease was then spread to Donovan Mitchell who hasn't been having any symptoms. The rest of the sports world has also shut down due to this virus and people are starting to get scared. Well, today, things got a whole lot worse as it was revealed that four players from the Brooklyn Nets tested positive for COVID-19.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the players have not yet been identified although they are all self-isolating and those who have been in contact with the players have been notified. For now, only one of the players is experiencing any symptoms although the other feels 100 percent like themselves.
This is a scary trend that could continue to unfold over the next couple of weeks. It can take days before symptoms start to show and with this in mind, all of the teams that played the Nets over the past two weeks will have to take some much-needed precautions.
Stay tuned for updates on this story as we will be sure to bring them to you.

There has been an outpour of worry and fear because of the coronavirus, but still, Kevin Hart has been able to keep his spirits high and encourage the world to do the same. Trump Wants To Send Cash To Americans
As the coronavirus pandemic continues, President Trump and the White House are looking to provide immediate financial relief to Americans.
A few weeks ago, we were not taking the coronavirus as seriously as we should have been and, now, things are escalating quickly. It feels as though we are heading toward a national lockdown, much like the current situation in Italy and Spain. Restaurants, bars, libraries, and event spaces across the country are being temporarily closed as social distancing becomes important to prevent the spread of COVID-19. With small businesses taking a major hit as a direct result of the virus, the United States government is shifting focus on how to ensure that people are able to stay afloat, and that begins with a stimulus package.
The latest update from the White House and President Trump pertains to a financial payout that is being considered to take immediate effect. A massive economic stimulus package is on the brink of reality in Washington, which would entail direct cash payments to be sent to Americans.

“We’re looking at sending checks to Americans immediately,” said Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin. “And I mean now, in the next two weeks.”
The White House is trying to push this into law as soon as possible, meaning that it could become a reality within the next couple of weeks. The cash payment idea is part of a larger $850 billion stimulus package proposed by Congress. As Trump stated earlier this week, the package is likely to include support for businesses, airlines, and more industries that have been directly affected by COVID-19.
Stay safe out there, guys.
Emmanuel Mudiay Breaks Silence On Rudy Gobert COVID-19 Debacle
Emmanuel Mudiay is one of the Jazz players who got to see Rudy Gobert’s antics play out.
Last week, Rudy Gobert was diagnosed with the Coronavirus after numerous antics in which he didn’t take the disease seriously. Just a few hours later, Donovan Mitchell was diagnosed with COVID-19 as well. It served as a stark reminder that this whole thing must be taken seriously or else we could all end up very sick. Jazz player Emmanuel Mudiay was sick at the same time as Gobert except he didn’t have the virus. Regardless, Mudiay recently spoke to OkayAfrica about the pandemic and even made sure to defend his teammate.
“Rudy is a great guy,” Mudiay said. “He was just trying to be funny and joke around. He didn’t know he had it at the time. Now he knows that it was something serious.”

Mudiay’s comments are in stark contrast to the reports that numerous Jazz players are upset with Gobert after his recklessness. There has been reported frustration that could end up lasting well into the NBA’s comeback which could take place in mid-June. With this in mind, the Jazz will have an interesting return to action.
Stay tuned for updates regarding the NBA’s actions surrounding the Coronavirus. There is still a lot we don’t know and there very well could be a cancellation of the entire season if this trend continues.
Jared Leto Just Found Out About Coronavirus
Actor Jared Leto was on a silent meditation retreat in the desert for twelve days, finding out about the global pandemic hours ago.
Our world has drastically changed in the last few days. As social distancing becomes a thing, humans across the globe are being urged to stay inside their homes and avoid any non-essential contact with others. The novel coronavirus is spreading like wildfire and, in Italy, the death toll has reached a depressingly large number. It’s crazy to think that some people still aren’t even aware of the pandemic but, much like actor Jared Leto, there are those that are not yet privy to details of the change in our lifestyles.

The star of Dallas Buyers Club took to social media on Monday (March 16) to tell his followers that he had just found out about the coronavirus pandemic after returning from a 12-day meditation retreat.
“Wow. 12 days ago I began a silent meditation in the desert. We were totally isolated. No phone, no communication, etc. We had no idea what was happening outside the facility. Walked out yesterday into a very different world. One that’s been changed forever. Mind blowing – to say the least,” wrote Leto on Instagram.
“I’m getting messages from friends and family all around the globe and catching up on what’s going on. Hope you and yours are ok. Sending positive energy to all. Stay inside. Stay safe.”
During such a crucial time, it’s important for us all to practice social distancing right now before things get worse than they already are. Take care of yourself and your family.
Chrissy Teigen Trolls John Legend Live Stream Concert
Chrissy Teigen trolls as John Legend is set to follow Chris Martin's lead, live streaming a concert during quarantine for the #TogetherAtHome campaign.
John Legend will be holding an Instagram live stream concert today at 1pm PST (4pm EST). Chris Martin, of Coldplay, took to Twitter yesterday to announce that he would be live streaming 30 minutes from then to talk and listen to music in support of his fans who were practicing social-distancing. He ended the concert by announcing that John Legend will be taking over tomorrow. Legend followed the announcement by tweeting he would perform today. Then, his wife Chrissy Teigen, let us know that she would be there with us.
Martin and Legend are the latest artists to campaign the "#TogetherAtHome" series, which comes from a collaboration between the World Health Organization (WHO) and Global Citizen. The series of virtual concerts intends to “promote unity amid the COVID-19 pandemic’s social distancing protocols". Musicians across the world have been doing their part to support the initiative by bringing people together through their music. We're not sure who is set to follow Legend, however, we are anticipating that many of the world's biggest artists will jump at the opportunity to help us all stay #TogetherAtHome.
If Chris Martin's stream was any indication, we can expect a lot of sincerity and authenticity from our favorite artists. Like Chrissy Teigen said, we "literally have no choice" but to be together at this time.
Cardi B Coronavirus Remix Goes Viral
A remix of Cardi B saying “Coronavirus! Shit is real!” has officially gone viral, rising the iTunes charts rapidly.
This remix of Cardi B saying “Coronavirus! Shit is real!” is almost as infectious as the actual illness.
Bronx rapper Cardi B has been one of the most outspoken celebrities in regards to the growing fear of the coronavirus, which has been declared a global pandemic. The superstar has commented several times on the virus, urging her fans to take it seriously and to avoid going out in public, as even people who show no symptoms can be carrying COVID-19.
Since speaking out, a remix of her statement was produced by iMarkkeyz before it was uploaded to streaming services and, on iTunes, it’s actually picking up traction. Cardi B is looking for her royalty checks after noticing how quickly the song started to rise on the charts.
“Damn I posted the iTunes chart 2 hours ago of this damn Corona song charting on the hip hop charts at 96 now it’s number 11,” wrote the artist on her social media pages.
The song uses a sample of Cardi B yelling about the disease. Do you think she should be seeing any money from this or should the creator be getting all the cash from the iTunes plays? Listen to the remix below and let us know.
Drake Clowns Barber On IG
Drake let us in on a quarantine day at The Embassy, it included setting records, playing basketball, and clowning his barber.
Drake has always been a good sport when it comes to taking and making jokes. He's always trying to keep things positive and light, which we could all use during times like this. We haven't heard from Drake in a few days but it's possible that he was getting used to the quarantine life like the rest of us. However, that changed yesterday when he decided to share the news and congratulations that poured in after he set the record for most entries on the Hot 100 list, with 208.

Drake's friend and long-time collaborator, Quavo, took the time out of his quarantine to congratulate Drake on his milestone. We're sure Quavo and the rest of the hip-hop community was inspired and motivated by the news.
In the last series of stories Drake posted, he was in close corners with the official OVO-barber, GetFaded. As the barber was lining up Drake's "stache", Drake would shout and make weird cringe faces, claiming that he was scared. It was hilarious. His barber, who was clearly having a good time, was also quite annoyed. "F*ck off" he had to tell The Boy a couple of times, to no avail. We're not sure how long the haircut took, but being a fly on the wall in that room would have been fun.
