Now that the NBA is on a hiatus, players are going to have to find something to do. When you're an athlete whose job it is to play basketball, it can be hard to find something to do all day. Many NBA players are already struggling with this as they try to self-quarantine and keep themselves sane. One of the highest-profile players in the league is none other than LeBron James, who was having himself an incredible season. While he may still get to resume it, there is no denying that the king has gone stir crazy.
On his Instagram story, James revealed that he has been watching some of his old games. In fact, LeBron went on a trip down memory lane as he loaded up some of his old games with Dwyane Wade from his Miami days. Even LeBron seemed to be impressed by some of his old work.
“Man we had more lobs in 4 years than the history of franchises itself," LeBron said. The clips were pretty impressive and it's hard to fault LeBron for being impressed by his own efforts. Wade and LeBron were a duo that was hard to top and there is no wonder as to how they were able to win two NBA titles and make it to four-straight finals.
Hopefully, LeBron can continue to find things to do during the quarantine.
Tom Hanks Provides Coronavirus Update
Tom Hanks shared an update on he and his wife, Rita Wilson, after they tested positive for coronavirus during their visit to Australia and went into isolation.
Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, are doing just fine in Australian quarantine due to their coronavirus contraction, according to the actor’s latest update social media. The world was shaken when Tom announced on Wednesday that he and Rita had tested positive for COVID-19 aka coronavirus during their trip to Australia, where Tom was busy filming the upcoming Baz Luhrmann-directed Elvis Presley biopic.

While it’s unclear at the moment whether Tom will still be taking on the role of Elvis’ manager, Colonel Tom Parker, in the film, the actor and his actress wife are focused solely on their recovery and ensuring that they don’t spread the virus to others. Of course, the couple are in isolation at the moment, but they made sure to thank everyone for their support and reassure us that everything will be okay, complete with one of Tom’s most famous film quotes.
“Hello folks,” he wrote on a selfie of both of them donning baseball caps. “@ritawilson and I want to thank everyone here Down Under who are taking such good care of us. We have Covid-19 and are in isolation so we do not spread it to anyone else. There are those for whom it could lead to a very serious illness. We are taking it one-day-at-a-time. There are things we can all do to get through this by following the advice of experts and taking care of ourselves and each other, no? Remember, despite all the current events, there is no crying in baseball. Hanx.” The reference to A League Of Their Own is just too wholesome, and as usual, Mr. Hanks continues to be a force of positivity. Keep these wise words in mind!
Ronda Rousey Shows Off Her Epic Doomsday Preparation
Ronda Rousey gives fans a look inside Browsey Acres: “Our coronavirus panic shopping list is: Nonexistent.”
By now we’ve all seen footage of, or witnessed first hand, the empty shelves at grocery stores and wholesale warehouses as people frantically stock up on supplies amid the coronavirus pandemic. Everything from hand sanitizer and toilet paper, to cuts of chicken and beef, are being snatched up just as quickly as they are stocked, resulting in chaotic episodes across the country.
And while the rest of the nation prepares for the worst, Ronda Rousey is proudly flaunting the stockpile of goods she accumulated over the years as a doomsday prepper.

The UFC Hall of Famer turned WWE superstar shared a video with her 12.8 million instagram followers on Thursday night, revealing how she and her husband Travis Browne are prepared for anything at their Browsey Acres compound in Riverside, California. Meats? Check. Fruits and Veggies? You bet. Water? Eggs? Generators in case the power goes out? Yup, they’ve got all that covered too.
Rousey captioned the video: “Our coronavirus panic shopping list is: Nonexistent. It’s no secret I’ve been a proud preppier for years- but let’s all learn from this pandemic panic and be a little more self sufficient and prepared in the future. Taking steps to live sustainably takes time but ultimately saves money, permanently eliminates water and power bills, reduces our carbon footprint, and is just plain healthier.”
She adds, “If you’re prepared, there’s no need to panic. I think we should all learn from this coronavirus pandemic to be a little bit more prepared next time – just in case something more serious happens.”

Dreamville Festival Postponed Due To Coronavirus Concerns
Dreamville Festival, originally scheduled for April 4th, will now take place at a later date due to the increasing concerns surrounding coronavirus.
J. Cole‘s Dreamville Festival is the latest event to be pushed back as a result of the rapidly spreading coronavirus epidemic, as the initial April 4th date has now been delayed by several months. As the world adjusts to the threatening presence of the deadly virus, countless events have been cancelled, and health officials have urged folks to avoid areas with large crowd gatherings. In light of these circumstances, the second annual Dreamville Festival has now been rescheduled to take place on August 29th, 2020. The Dreamville team issued an official statement social media to announce the new date, stating that the event will still be taking place at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina.
“Dear Dreamville Family,” the message reads. “We recognize there’s been a lot of questions about the status of Dreamville Festival and in light of recent developments, we are excited to let you know we are moving forward with a new date. While the State of North Carolina and local health officials continue to work to protect the well being of all in the State, we have worked collaboratively to identify the best possible outcome. We are excited to announce that Dreamville Festival will now take place on August 29, 2020 and will remain at Dorothea Dix Park. All tickets for the April event will be honored for the rescheduled date. For any current ticket-buyers unable to attend the rescheduled event, refunds will be offered.”

“While this decision has been extremely difficult to make,” the statement continues, “the safety of our fans, artists, and staff is always our top priority, and nothing will ever take precedence over your well-being. We now encourage everyone to follow the guidelines and various preventive measures put forth by local and national health authorities. Our team is extremely committed to bringing the event to fruition for all our Dreamville family, and we can’t wait to see everyone in August. We are also very appreciative to the City of Raleigh for helping us find a new date so quickly.”

The statement also addresses the impending lineup announcement. “Originally, we were scheduled to announce the festival lineup this week and are now working around the clock to reconfirm all performers scheduled for the April date. We hope to announce the full music lineup as early as next week.” J. Cole launched the Dreamville Festival last year, in an effort to give back to his community. The first inauguration featured performances by Dreamville artists including Bas, EARTHGANG, Ari Lennox, JID, Cozz, Omen, and Lute, as well as other big names like Big Sean, 21 Savage, SZA, 6LACK, and more.
Kevin Love Helps Out Arena Workers With Massive Donation
Kevin Love came through with a huge gesture for employees affected by the NBA shutdown.
Kevin Love has been known to be a charitable man and his experiences with anxiety have made him especially empathetic to those going through the same thing. Anxiety has been heightened amongst everybody as of late due to the Coronavirus. The NBA and other sports leagues across the world recently shut down their seasons in an attempt to enact social distancing measures. This is especially concerning for arena workers who get paid at an hourly rate. Now, they are out of jobs which could lead to dire consequences in their personal lives.
Love is well-aware of the anxiety this has brought the workers and yesterday, he announced that he and his foundation would donate $100,000 to arena workers who have been affected. This was paired with a pledge from the Cleveland Cavaliers to create a compensation program for employees at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.
“Everyone reacts differently to stressful situations. And the fear and anxiety resulting from the recent outbreak of COVID-19 can be extremely overwhelming,” Love wrote. “Through the game of basketball, we’ve been able to address major issues and stand together as a progressive league that cares about the players, the fans, and the communities where we work. I’m concerned about the level of anxiety that everyone is feeling and that is why I’m committing $100,000 through the @KevinLoveFund in support of the @Cavs arena and support staff that had a sudden life shift due to the suspension of the NBA season. I hope that during this time of crisis, others will join me in supporting our communities.”
This is an incredible gesture that will certainly go a long way. Perhaps other players will follow suit.
Trump Blames Obama & CDC For Coronavirus Testing Response
Donald Trump is back to pointing the finger at Obama and the CDC for the response to Coronavirus and the H1N1 Swine Flu.
Even after Obama got out of office, it appears the Coronavirus pandemic that's sweeping America is to blame on him, at least . Trump has pointed the finger at Obama on a few occasions but this morning, as more news surrounding COVID-19 emerged, Trump attacked the CDC and Obama for the problems surrounding Coronavirus testing.
Win McNamee/Getty Images
"For decades the @CDCgov looked at, and studied, its testing system, but did nothing about it. It would always be inadequate and slow for a large scale pandemic, but a pandemic would never happen, they hoped. President Obama made changes that only complicated things further," he said in his first tweet. He continued to attack their response to Swine Flu and describing it as a "full-scale disaster" that led to "thousands dying" because the testing issues weren't fixed until recently. "The changes have been made and testing will soon happen on a very large scale basis. All Red Tape has been cut, ready to go," Trump added.
Trump didn't miss the moment to feed his own ego in front of the public as he tore down Joe Biden. He said that under his administration, the response rate is "one of the best, with fast action of border closings & a 78% approval rating."
This is surely not the first time, nor the last, that Donald Trump will take aim at Obama. Take a look at the tweets below.
Phoenix Suns To Play Out Rest Of Season On NBA 2K
Phoenix Suns are at peak antics right now.
Now that the NBA season has been suspended until further notice, athletes don't know what to do with themselves. Simply put, that 14-day quarantine hits different. All jokes aside, many players and teams are beside themselves as they try to figure out what to do with all of this spare time. The Phoenix Suns have seemingly figured it out and quite honestly, it's not a terrible idea. If Coronavirus didn't give gamers enough of a reason to rise up before, it certainly will now.
On Twitter, the Suns announced that the rest of the season will be played out on NBA 2K20 and can be watched on Twitch. Yes, that's right, the Suns are playing the rest of their scheduled games in video game form. This will begin tomorrow as the Suns take on the Dallas Mavericks in the digital hellscape that is NBA 2K20.
This latest move is perfect for the Suns as it means they actually have a chance at making the playoffs. Suns fans have only experienced the Larry O'Brien trophy in video games and with this latest move, we're surely in for yet another unexpected victory. The squad just better hope another bubble playoff team doesn't do the same thing. I mean, if the Grizzlies do this too, the Suns are finished.
Did "The Simpsons" Predict Tom Hanks’ Coronavirus Isolation?
Fans are claiming that Tom Hanks' appearance in "The Simpsons Movie" from 2007 predicted his coronavirus diagnosis.
Once again, The Simpsons has predicted another major world event. Depending on how much of a conspiracy theorist you are, you'll be mind-blown to watch the following video, which apparently predicted Tom Hanks' isolation due to the coronavirus.
This is definitely a bit of a reach but fans of the long-running television series believe that the actor's cameo in The Simpsons Movie from 2007 is indicative of yet another time when the creators of the show predicted a major world event.
The show, which has also predicted Donald Trump's eventual presidency, showed Tom Hanks advertising a "new Grand Canyon" and bashing the government by saying they have lost credibility. However, it's something he says about himself that has people going crazy.
Kevin Winter/Getty Images
"This is Tom Hanks saying if you see me in person, please, please leave me be," utters the actor.
Of course, this makes zero reference to the coronavirus, or any illness at all, but people are using it as another example of The Simpsons' creators being psychic mind-readers.
Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson tested positive for COVID-19 after being tested in Australia. They are expected to make a full recovery according to their children.
Do you think this is a reach or are the fans onto something?
Lupe Fiasco Delivers Coronavirus PSA
Lupe Fiasco takes to Twitter to address the ongoing Coronavirus crisis and panic, offering advice and updates on his own career.
With the Coronavirus sending the world into a state of barely restrained panic and uncertainty, many have felt lost in their efforts to make sense of it. In response, Lupe Fiasco has come forward in an attempt to calm the waters, taking to social media to share an update on both his own career and the ongoing battle with COVID-19 and the fear it leaves in its wake. Especially given that a sense of rising panic and hysteria has gripped the nation, with many taking to the toilet paper aisles hellbent on hoarding that coveted two-ply supply.
"The shows in Seattle and Cleveland [And San Francisco] that were slated for this weekend are now postponed," begins Lupe, speaking in a calming and reassuring tone. "They're actually rescheduled into June. We'll be updating the [website] with the changes soon...Those are the dates right now that have been postponed due to the Coronavirus."
Jeff Schear/Getty Images
"Just remember that the Coronavirus is you," he declares, with a slight smile. "What I mean when I say that is that it doesn't make you panic. It doesn't drive you crazy. It doesn't drive you to do extreme things. It makes you sick. It shouldn't drive you to panic. It shouldn't drive you to racism or to overreact. It shouldn't drive you to bullying or profiteering or price gouging. That's human nature, the nature of humanity coming out. That is the disease in us as human beings that never goes away. Our greed and our selfishness. Us overreacting."
"Don't allow that to happen," he implores. "As this thing grows and gets a little more out of hand. Corona is what you make it. If you make it a crazy panic-driven fear-filled thing, that is what it will be. The disease isn't only the disease itself, it's also the reaction to the disease. In some cases, most of us will be experiencing the reaction to the disease. Make sure you are disciplined, sensible, and consistent. Vigilant. But don't go crazy, don't start to panic or overexaggerate things. Don't get caught up in myths and rumors. It's not necessary."
Check out the entire PSA below, and sound off in the comments - is Lupe speaking facts here?
View this post on InstagramSteve Kerr Reacts To Footage Of Post Malone’s Sold Out Show
Warriors coach Steve Kerr preaches the importance of social distancing in response to footage of Post Malone's sold out show in Denver.
In the aftermath of the coronavirus outbreak, several cities have banned large social gatherings in an effort to combat the fast-spreading disease. Furthermore, almost every major sport, with the exception of the UFC, has suspended or cancelled upcoming events until further notice.
Despite the growing concerns, Post Malone's concert at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado went off without a hitch on Thursday night, as his fans packed out the arena without fear. In response to video footage taken at the show, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr preached the importance of social distancing.
Kerr quote-tweeted the video along with the following plea, "It’s going to take all of us to commit to social distancing in order to turn the tide and get the virus under control. Please explain this concept to everyone you know."
Although that show took place as originally planned, the Blake Shelton concert scheduled to take place at the Pepsi Center on Saturday has already been cancelled. Post's next show is scheduled to take place next week at the Chase Center in San Francisco, but the city has already banned all gatherings with 250 or more people, and that concert is currently listed as "canceled or postponed -- TBD," according to TMZ.
