If this move was meant to endear people to her brand, Nicki Minaj did not succeed because, after announcing that she would be teaming up with Tekashi 6ix9ine for yet another song, she's being dragged across social media.
Nicki Minaj told the world that, on Friday, she would be releasing her second single with Tekashi 6ix9ine. She is one of the first artists to collaborate with the rapper since his release from prison and his controversial status as a snitch is rubbing tons of people the wrong way.
While the vast majority of Minaj's own fanbase is supporting her decision to team up with her rainbow-haired "FEFE" collaborator, people outside of the Barbz group are criticizing her every move.
Directly following the announcement that the song would be out this week, several terms began trending as people reacted to the news. "Nicki," "Onika," "Nicki Minaj," "FEFE," and more all gained traction as trending topics.
Regardless of what people are saying about her collaborating with 6ix9ine a second time, it's clear that Nicki Minaj is incapable of ever being canceled. At this point in her career, she has been through numerous controversies, including her first collaboration with the rainbow-haired rapper. We're confident that she'll be able to get through this one too.

Virgil Abloh Claps Back At Criticism Over $50 Bail Fund Donation
Virgil Abloh isn’t too happy with the narratives floating around social media right now.
Virgil Abloh came under fire last night after he posted to his Instagram story showing that he had only donated $50 to a bail fund for protesters. Of course, this amount was considered to be quite the joke considering the fact that Off-White socks will run you a light $100 at your local department store. Simply put, fans were disappointed that someone so wealthy and with such a big platform would come out and be stingy with their money.
Today, Abloh went back on his IG story and posted a message to his followers noting that he has had enough of the social media narratives. As he explains, the $50 was simply a part of a donation-match initiative he was doing with his friends. Abloh also noted that he will be revealing the total amount he’s donated, in the not so distant future.

“More light before a narrative forms around false assumptions,” Virgil said. “The $50 donation described in a recent screenshot was part of a matching funds movement of friends i follow in my timeline.”
Clearly, the incessant Twitter memes have been getting to Abloh and now, he is feeling the heat. Regardless, every little bit helps in this fight and hopefully, Abloh understands that he has a massive platform that could be used to enact systemic change in society.
Charles Barkley Explains Michael Jordan’s Beef With Him
Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan used to be good friends but they don’t talk much anymore.
Despite being rivals out on the court, Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan used to be very good friends. The two used to go everywhere together and even shared the screen in “Space Jam.” However, over the past few years, Jordan has gone completely silent on Barkley. Friendships go through ups and downs over the years although when it comes to MJ and Chuck, it looks like things will never be patched up.
While on the “Hoops, Adjacent” podcast, Barkley spoke on his complicated relationship with the NBA legend. As he explains, Jordan didn’t like something he said about his career as a manager and owner. Barkley noted that he was talking more about the people around Jordan. Regardless, MJ took offense to Barkley’s comments and the two have been on rocky terms ever since.

“Don’t you have friends who you’re not sure how they’re gonna react when you’re honest with them,” Barkley said. “Especially somebody on his level. And like I say, hey, I love the dude. He’s the best I’ve ever seen. It’s unfortunate the way things went down. But I’m going to always try to do my job. And actually, my criticism was about the people around him. … I thought the people he hired around him were too many yes men. That was actually my statement, to be honest. I thought the people around him, they wanted the private jet. They wanted the steak dinner. They were always going to be yes men.”
Hopefully, these two can patch things up in the not so distant future. In these uncertain times, you never want to be caught holding a grudge for too long.

Shaq Claps Back At Critics After "Tiger King" Appearance
Shaq is distancing himself from the legendary Joe Exotic following a cameo in Netflix’s “Tiger King.”
If you haven’t seen Netflix’s Tiger King yet, what are you doing? The documentary is centered around the eccentric Joe Exotic who owns his very own Tiger zoo in Oklahoma. The man gets wrapped up in a murder for hire plot that goes terribly wrong. That’s all we will tell you for now as you should really go watch it. One of the more interesting parts of the documentary is when NBA legend Shaq arrives at the park and goes on a nice little tour of his own.
Ever since the airing of the documentary, there have been various animal rights people who have criticized Shaq for his appearance. They believe he shouldn’t be associating with Joe Exotic and the fact he went on a tour of the zoo further reinforces bad behavior when it comes to animal welfare. Shaq made sure to address those critics on a recent episode of his podcast.
“I was just a visitor. I met this guy. Not my friend. Don’t know him. Never had any business dealings with him, and I had no idea any of that stuff was going on,” Shaq said. “People that know me know that I’m righteous. I don’t harm tigers. I lover tigers. We found out that he’s involved with all the stuff, and then, actually, I stopped going.”
Shaq went on to say that he enjoyed the documentary although people need to stop associating him with Exotic. Now that Shaq has set the record straight, we’re sure the Carole Baskin’s of the world will stop being mad at him.

Metro Boomin Calls Out The "Fake Woke" People Criticizing Billionaires’ Donations
Metro Boomin was not here for folks complaining that billionaires were not donating enough of their money to help during the coronavirus pandemic.
Metro Boomin was floored by "fake woke" people having the audacity to criticize billionaires for only donating a portion of their wealth towards stopping the spread of coronavirus. As the world faces the global crisis that is the coronavirus pandemic, many public figures have donated some of their money in order to help. Whether it be for the sake of providing food, medical supplies and equipment, research, facilities, you name it, various wealthy folks have been reported as having contributed to coronavirus causes. Among these people are billionaires like Mark Zuckerberg and Los Angeles Clippers owner, Steve Ballmer, who both possess obscene amounts of money. Both billionaires were recently revealed to have donated $25 million toward funding research for coronavirus treatment and accelerated testing for coronavirus, respectively. However, this amount garnered some backlash, as Ballmer and Zuckerberg both boast net worths in the $50 billion range. Many folks pointed out that either of these men parting ways with $25 million is essentially the equivalent of an average person donating around $25-$30.
While some agree that billionaires shouldn't be applauded for donating less than 1% of their net worth, others feel that donating any amount at all will still make a difference, let alone $25 million. Metro Boomin is among the latter, taking to Twitter to contribute to the billionaire donation discourse by coming to the defence of folks like Zuckerberg and Ballmer and call those criticizing them, "fake woke."
Metro proceeded to point out that "the same people complaining about $25 million donations won’t even donate a single canned good to their local food bank or shelter."
He also emphasized the importance of the intent behind a donation, which, in this case, is "to save lives and preserve mankind."
He made sure to clarify he's not "defending billionaires" but rather "defending common sense," by indicating that $25 million is better than nothing, and will certainly go a long way to help people.
What do you think? Should billionaires be expected to donate more, or is a number like $25 million already enough to make change?
Chris Brown’s Baby Mama Gets Heat For Leaving House With Son
Chris Brown’s baby mama, Ammika Harris, fired back after getting slammed for taking her infant son, Aeko Catori, out of the house amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Chris Brown‘s baby mama, Ammika Harris, was not having it after a troll attacked her for bringing her infant son, Aeko Catori Brown, in the car with her on an outing during the global coronavirus pandemic. It has been urged by government and health officials around the world that anyone who can should stay inside as much as possible in order to flatten the curve and help prevent the further spread of coronavirus. Of course, some folks still need to leave the house occasionally to do things like buy groceries or, god forbid, go to the hospital, but for the most part, it’s best to practice social distancing by staying at home. However, Ammika, the mother of Chris Brown’s son, Aeko, was among those who needed to restock the fridge and cupboards in order to sustain herself and her 4-month-old while they quarantine, but Ms. Harris got some flack for bringing her baby along while she ran her errands.
Ammika posted a photo of herself in the car with Aeko in his car seat next to her, his adorable face out of sight. She captioned the post, “Ain’t playing when it comes to my family,” implying that she is actually being especially cautious about protecting her newborn son from the virus. However, one troll felt the need to come after her for bringing Aeko in the car with her by commenting, “So why yall outside!!! GO LAYDOWN.” Ammika was not impressed with this demand from a complete stranger, so she decided to clap back. “IM GETTING GROCERIES TF!” the model replied, receiving tons of support from her followers. “Don’t let ignorance upset you,” one user told her. “You can’t fix stupid! Be safe beautiful!” Another told the troll to “leave her alone.”

Ammika and Aeko are currently stuck in Germany, unable to return to the United States to see Chris due to Trump’s temporary overseas travel ban. Chris has expressed how difficult it’s been to be apart from his “mini me,” so we hope this family can be reunited soon when it’s safe!
Lizzo Ridiculed For Wearing Surgical Mask Amid Shortages
Lizzo got dragged for wearing a surgical mask while there are major shortages of medical supplies, but she explained that she actually has strep throat.
Lizzo's decision to sport a surgical mask over her mouth during the coronavirus pandemic got her put on blast by the Internet, as health professionals report major shortages of medical supplies and equipment. Since the coronavirus outbreak, many folks are unable to access personal protective equipment like masks and gloves. Hospitals are running low on space and resources, and medical practitioners are under-equipped to properly protect their sick patients. It's for these reasons that people were vocally critical of Lizzo for wearing a surgical mask despite, as far as we know, not having coronavirus. In a since-deleted Instagram post, Lizzo responded to this criticism, noting that she "got strep throat at the worst time ever." On a photo of her infected throat, Lizzo explained her situation.
"Got strep throat at the worst time ever," she wrote. "It's nobody's business but I'd prefer y'all not criticize me for wearing a face mask and doing what I was supposed to do to protect the people in my home." In the caption, she continued the message. "Please check yourself before you become an internet bully because you're bored," she urged. "Get your facts straight. The world needs less trolls and more compassion."
Nets Respond To Criticism Over Quick Coronavirus Testing
The Brooklyn Nets received quick Coronavirus testing despite limited resources for regular folks.
If you're a basketball fan, the last week has been incredibly hard. In reality, it feels like we just lived out an entire decade in the span of a week. It's not fun for anyone involved but at the end of the day, we are all in this together and are doing our best to make sure this virus gets stopped in its tracks. The Brooklyn Nets have gotten the worst of the Coronavirus when compared to other NBA teams. Four players, including Kevin Durant, all tested positive for COVID-19 this past week.
As soon as players started to get symptoms, the entire team was tested. While this is great for precautionary reasons, some felt as though it was yet another example of how athletes and rich people get preferential treatment when it comes to limited tests. Today, the Nets issued a statement in which they explained why it was so imported for them to be tested so quickly.
"If we had waited for players to exhibit symptoms, they might have continued to pose a risk to their family, friends and the public," the statement read.
In light of the Nets diagnosis, the Los Angeles Lakers recently got tested as well and now, the players are being asked to quarantine themselves. Needless to say, we are living in some harsh times and we are all hoping to get through this as quickly as possible.
Post Malone Slammed For Performing In Denver Despite Coronavirus
Post Malone is facing backlash for going forward with his scheduled concert in Denver despite major concerns surrounding the spread of coronavirus.
Post Malone took the stage at the Pepsi Center in Denver on Thursday despite the widespread concerns over coronavirus, which has a lot of people scratching their heads. The imposing threat of coronavirus has led to the cancellation of countless events and any gatherings that attract large crowds, in an effort to contain the deadly virus and keep everyone safe.

However, it appears Post Malone wasn't too concerned about the risks, as he performed to a sold-out crowd at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado on Thursday night, much to the confusion and outrage of many. The Pepsi Center announced on Twitter prior to the show that Post's concert would proceed as scheduled, and the decision drew plenty of criticism.
Despite one user's assumption that the audience would be full of "empty seats," the show was actually packed, which is cause for even more concern.
The state of Colorado has yet to entirely ban large public gatherings, but health officials have seriously warned against them. While Live Nation did announce that all of its tours, including Post Malone and Swae Lee's Runaway tour, would be temporarily cancelled for the month of March due to coronavirus concerns, they did specify that select shows would proceed as scheduled on Thursday and Friday, which apparently included Post's Denver concert. His show at the Chase Center in San Francisco next week, however, has been canceled, as California officials have banned all gatherings of 250 people or more.
Coachella Responds To Elon Musk’s Jab By Citing Jaden Smith Performance
Coachella swiftly shuts down Elon Musk's claim that the festival sucks now because of corporate sponsorship.
Coronavirus-related health concerns are wreaking havoc across the globe and the important question that remains up in the air is: Is Coachella still going to happen this year? Instagram influencers and Frank Ocean fans are in shambles as the possibility looms that the music festival will be cancelled. It seems Coachella is too crucial to be shut down entirely though, as rumors are circulating that it will simply be moved from April to October. While ticket-holders rejoice that they will still get the chance to take photos of their fits at the hottest music event of the year, Elon Musk believes Coachella should be cancelled altogether due to it "sucking."
Amid all the speculation regarding the festival's fate, Musk tweeted, "Coachella should postpone itself until it stops sucking." He then explained his stance in follow-up tweets: "Too much corporate sponsorship killed the vibe... Was good maybe 5 or 6 years ago when you could [wander] around & find great unknown bands."
While it goes without saying that the tech mogul is far from anti-capitalist king, Coachella's official Twitter account decided to call out Musk's hypocrisy. Coachella replied to Musk's criticism with a photo of Jaden Smith standing atop a floating Tesla Model X during his set at that very festival last year. To drive home how swiftly Musk got shut down, Coachella simply captioned the photo, "lol". People may not have ran from Jaden's performance to the nearest Tesla dealership, but the photo speaks volumes. Even Musk felt the need to concede: "Ok fine, that was good haha."
Jaden then chimed in with a message that tried to bring reconciliation in a time of fear and divisiveness: ":) @elonmusk I Love You @coachella I Love You."
