Lil Yachty has always been known to engage in some antics from time to time. In his music, Yachty exudes youthful exuberance and this same philosophy applies to his everyday life. At times, Yachty likes to film these antics and share them with the world. Typically, it always makes for some fun viewing and it's ultimately part of the reason why he is so beloved by all of his fans.
On Friday, Yachty decided to film a friendly race with his 50-year-old father, and it was entertaining, to say the least. Throughout the video, you can see Yachty talking a whole lot of smack before considerably outpacing his father. From there, he calls his dad an "old ass man" and belittles him for losing what appeared to be a make-shift 100-meter dash.
When you consider the age gap, Yachty's win shouldn't come as that much of a surprise. However, it is important to note that next week is Father's Day which means he will have to make this up to his dad somehow. Losing a race to your son in front of thousands of people isn't fun and we're sure he's expecting a nice gift as payback for what he had to go through.
Needless to say, it was all in good fun and we're sure Yachty's dad did plenty of winning when he was younger.
Steelers’ James Conner Delivers Heartwarming Gift To His Dad
James Conner is spreading some positive vibes during these uncertain times.
Between Coronavirus and the racial inequality in the United States and throughout the world, it is easy to get depressed with the state of affairs right now. Having said that, there has been some good news as of late and Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner came through with some of that good news over the weekend.
In a now-viral video, Conner showed off the moment in which he gifted his dad a brand new pickup truck. As you can see from the clip below, Conner and his father are standing across the street from the truck when the Steelers star reveals that the truck now belongs to his dad. Conner's father was shocked at first and then looked at his truck in giddy excitement. It was a beautiful moment between a father and son and we're sure they will remember this for a very long time.
What made the video humorous was the fact that Conner's dad refused to get in the car at first. Instead, he just wanted to admire the gift he had just been given. It adds a very pure quality to the video and we hope Conner's dad enjoys and drives the hell out of that car.
Many parents are instrumental in the success of professional athletes as they have to make numerous sacrifices along the path to glory. Clearly, Conner felt his dad was a major part of that journey.

George Floyd’s 6-year-old daughter, Gianna Floyd, opened up about missing her father, whose murder at the hands of police last week sparked nationwide protests against police brutality and systemic racism. On Thursday (June 4th), Gianna and her mother, Roxie Washington, sat down with ABC News to talk about George. When asked by news anchor Eva Pilgrim what she wants people to know about her father, Gianna told her, “kinda that I miss him.”
During the interview, Gianna says that her dad always “played with me,” which Roxie emphasizes. “She didn’t have to play with nobody else ‘cause daddy was gonna play with her all day long…I mean, that was his baby. He loved his little girl.”

Roxie also adds that while she didn’t tell Gianna exactly what had happened, the 6-year-old knew something was different about her dad’s death. “She said ‘I hear them. I hear them saying my daddy’s name,’” Roxie explained. “She doesn’t know what happened. I told her that her dad died ‘cause he couldn’t breathe.” At one point, Gianna reveals what she wants to be when she grows up. “I wanna be a doctor,” she says. “I wanna take care of people.”
In a new viral clip, Gianna can be seen on the shoulders of one of her dad’s best friends, NBA star Stephen Jackson, looking around proudly. “Daddy changed the world!” she declares.
It was recently revealed that Kanye West had set up a college fund for Gianna, along with covering the legal costs for the families of Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor.
Joyner Lucas Buys His Dad A Benz & A Rolex
Joyner Lucas made his dad’s birthday one to remember with a pair of lavish gifts.
Though his pre-fame come-up might have been difficult at times, Joyner Lucas can officially say he’s made it in the rap game. Not only has he finally dropped off his anticipated debut album ADHD at long last, he’s also earned the respect of veterans like Eminem, Royce Da 5’9″, Chris Brown, Will Smith, and more. Suffice it to say, Joyner is doing pretty well for himself, to the point where he can pay it forward for his loved ones.

And that’s exactly what he did on his father’s birthday. Taking to Instagram to showcase some of the kingly gifts, Joyner revealed that he recently copped his dad a Mercedes Benz and a diamond-encrusted Rolex — not only that, but he also shared a throwback picture of himself and his dad in simpler times, with Joyner Sr. holding it down with bottle in hand.
At this point, it’s become a rite of passage for rappers to bless their parents with lavish gifts, gestures that often lead to some genuinely wholesome moments. We can only hope Joyner and his dad enjoyed a drink together like old time’s sake, but only after taking the new car for a lengthy spin. Congratulations to the Lucas boys.
Alicia Keys Shares Emotional Letter "Divorcing" Absent Father
Alicia Keys shares a letter she wrote to her estranged father when she was just 14.
On Thursday, Alicia Keys shared an intimate throwback to fans of a letter she had written to her absent father in 1994 when she was just 14 years old.
Keys was just 14 years old when she wrote the letter to her, at the time, estranged father Craig Cook. Reading this, Alicia proves that she’s always been gifted with her pen. The opening line of her letter reads, “It saddens me that most of my heart is bitter towards you. It’s only that little part that feels sad that’s not bitter.” The letter explains her frustrations with her father and his absence in her life while she was growing up.
View this post on InstagramShe ended the letter passionately declaring, “All I want from you is to mind your business. I don’t want the phone calls, I don’t want the letters, I don’t want the fake acts you pull to try and make me think you care. I don’t want anything.”
The superstar, who has since repaired her relationship with Cook, explained in the caption that her father had kept the letter since she sent it to him in 1994 in a shoebox and shared it with her. “I’m glad he and I can look back at it now as a sign of how far we’ve come,” she wrote.
The R&B songstresses’ seventh studio album is slated to be released this month after being postponed twice due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Dr. Dre’s Daughter Shares Throwback Shot Of Her Parents With Eminem
Dr. Dre’s daughter, Truly Young, threw it way back to the 90s by posting a shot of her parents sitting next to Eminem, who was receiving a kiss from a fan.
Although it’s a pretty common practice for kids to dig through their parents old photos to find some vintage gems for social media, not everybody’s mom and dad were kicking it with Eminem back in the day. Then again, not everybody’s dad is Dr. Dre, so there’s that. The legendary producer’s daughter, Truly Young, engaged in the age old art of the Throwback Thursday last week, which involved sharing a shot of her famous dad and her mom, Nicole Young, from their younger days. In the same photo, a blonde Em can be seen with a scowl on his face, as a mystery woman plants a big smooch on his cheek.
“How cute is my mom,” Truly captioned the photo. Although it would make sense that, seeing as she is Dre’s daughter, Truly would have found this old school shot on her own, it looks like she came across it while perusing a nostalgia pop culture account called @90smilk.

Sharing throwback photos of Dre seems to be a common occurrence these days. Earlier this week, Xzibit posted a myriad of photos from back in the early days of Aftermath, and of course, Dre is ever-present. The retro snaps also include the likes of 50 Cent, Battlecat, and DJ Pooh, making for one nostalgic trip down memory lane.
Chris Brown’s Latest IG Post Of Royalty & Aeko Proves He’s One Proud Papa
Chris Brown wants you to “meet the Browns” in his latest Instagram post, which includes adorable photos of his two kids, Royalty and Aeko.
Chris Brown was beaming with pride when he shared his latest Instagram post, which includes photos of his two kids—5-year-old daughter Royalty and 5-month-old son Aeko—looking as adorable as ever. Chris has always been a proud papa since day one when Royalty was born in 2014, and that happiness only doubled when he welcomed Aeko with baby mama Ammika Harris back in November. The singer can often be found sharing the most melt-worthy shots on social media of his two little angels, who are both growing up so fast!
On Sunday, the “Wake Up Dead” singer posted the two photos on Instagram, captioned “Meet the Browns.” In the first shot, baby Aeko is looking off into the distance while taking a bath, surrounded by his toys. The next photo shows Royalty flashing a peace sign at the camera paired with a bright smile.

As far as we know, Chris is still unable to visit Aeko, as the infant and his mother, Ammika, have been stuck in Germany ever since the coronavirus pandemic in the U.S. prevented travel to and from Europe. Their separation has been super difficult on Chris, but at least he’s got Royalty to keep him company, assuming he’s able to see her.
Doja Cat Freaks Out Meeting Whoopi Goldberg, Who Knows Her Absent Dad
Doja Cat is dumbfounded meeting Whoopi Goldberg, who starred in a movie with her father Dumisani Dlamini, whom she has never met.
Doja Cat is the daughter of a Jewish-American artist mother and a South African actor father but she has never actually met her dad. She's heard all about him and he's apparently always commenting on her posts on social media, but the two have never formally been introduced to one another.
The man, Dumisani Dlamini, was in the 1992 film Sarafina!, which stars Whoopi Goldberg so when Doja Cat got to meet Whoopi recently, she couldn't resist the urge to fangirl over the fact that the talk show host knows her father.
Whoopi and Doja Cat were both backstage at the Late Night with Seth Meyers show recently when they spoke about the Hot Pink rapper's father.
Cooper Neill/Getty Images"I'm just thinking about my dad 'cause he was in Sarafina! so seeing you and meeting you is like the craziest thing," said Doja Cat. Whoopi Goldberg was equally as awestruck. She asked who her father was and, instantly upon hearing his name, she began praising him.
"I didn't get to meet him but you did," joked Doja. "A good man, really a good man," said Whoopi about Dumisani.
Some of Doja Cat's fans are a little confused at the video, asking why her father has not made an effort to be in her life despite supposedly being proud of her success. That's probably a story for a different day, though.
Chris Brown Shares Throwback Childhood Photo With His Dad
Chris Brown shares a photo of himself and his dad from when he was a child, calling his father his “dark skin twin.”
Chris Brown loves to go down memory lane with all of his fans, sharing countless moments on social media that we all can remember so vividly. Whether he’s posting an old dance video, something from the early stages of his career, or just a reminder that Indigo is out now, CB clearly enjoys looking back on his past success.
Back when he was just a little one, Breezy was developing his superior creative talent, sponging up information from his mother and father as he morphed into the man he is today. He recently gave us a look at what that was like, posting a throwback shot on IG.
John Lamparski/Getty Images“Young SNIPER me and my dad,” wrote the Virginia native before remarking how similar he and his father look. “My dark skin TWIN.”
Brown has been missing his family as of late. His toddler son Aeko Catori Brown is currently living in Germany with his mother, unable to travel to the States to see his daddy. The singer regularly shares new pictures of his son, also gushing over his daughter Royalty Brown on socials.
Do you think Chris and his dad look alike? Peep the throwback shot below and let us know.
Shaq Displays Dad-Like Dance Moves Alongside His Sons
Shaq's dance moves leave a lot to be desired although you can't really blame him.
Let's face it, this quarantine has provided very little sports content. Athletes and analysts are bored out of their minds as there is simply nothing to do. Leagues are on pause and seasons are in a state of purgatory. No one knows what's going to come next and unfortunately, it's not looking too good for anyone. Regardless, we are all in this together and now that we have some extra time with our families, many are taking advantage.
One of those people is none other than NBA legend, Shaq. The former superstar has been spending time at home with his sons, Shaqir and Shareef. Shaqir has his very own TikTok and has been getting his dad to partake in the festivities. In the video below, Shaq brings the dad vibes as he tries to emulate the dance moves of his children. While his moves leave a lot to be desired, you can't help but commend him for trying.
With the NBA season destined to be on pause until the late summer, it will be interesting to see what Shaq and other analysts begin to do. Perhaps he will start doing breakdowns of old games he was a part of. If that's the case, his social media will certainly be must-watch material.
In the meantime though, boredom has prevailed.
