Considering the fact that some deceased people are getting stimulus checks before the rest of us, Eminem is doing God’s work by announcing that he is also giving away relief funds for COVID-19. However, you’ve got to be tapped into the city of Detroit, keeping your finger on the musical pulse of Motor City to apply.

Sending out a message to Detroit’s DJ community, Eminem announced that he is offering a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be featured on his Shade 45 Radio station.

The top fifteen entries will be featured on his radio station and, in case that wasn’t enough incentive to show off your skills, the first 500 entries will all be getting a cash prize.

“Hometown DJ’s! @shade45 and me linked up for #LoveYourDJ – first 500 get $313,” wrote Eminem on Instagram.

Only Michigan residents will be able to enter the challenge. Of course, the dollar amount being sent to applicants is based on Detroit’s area code.

This is not all Eminem has done to help out during the coronavirus health crisis. This week, he also delivered spaghetti meals to a local healthcare facility, packaging them in Shady Records bowls and ensuring that all frontline caregivers had a meal that night.

Shaq is a man of many talents which is something that comes in very handy when there is absolutely nothing to do in the world. Of course, the entire world has been shut down due to the Coronavirus and now, we are all stuck at home looking for things to do. There are no sports on TV which means we all have to find something else to watch and do. Luckily, Shaq has all of those bases covered at his home where he is currently staying with his sons.

On Monday night, Shaq took to Instagram where he revealed that he was holding a dance party in his kitchen. In the video below, you can see Shaq with his DJ equipment on the kitchen counter while his sons dance to the music. It was a pretty cool sight to see especially considering the circumstances.

Over the past couple of weeks, we have seen some pretty entertaining shows on Instagram. For instance, numerous producers and songwriters have battled it out over IG Live. We have also seen numerous DJ sets that have received hundreds of thousands of viewers. 

Perhaps with this trend growing in popularity, we will see Shaq perform live on IG. It would certainly be a great way to pass the time.

New Orleans DJ and radio personality Black N Mild has died at age 44 after testing positive for coronavirus, according to Billboard.

While Ari Fletcher may be an Insta baddie, there’s a big difference between her showing off her own body and men thinking it’s okay to tell her what to do with it. A clip that surfaced online of an interaction between Ari and a nightclub DJ has people wondering whether the DJ’s comments toward her were out of line. Into a microphone, with the music paused, the man calls Ari onto the stage. “Ay listen, I came here to see one thing,” he says. When she doesn’t cooperate with his commands quick enough, he barks, “C’mon. Ay, Turn your ass around. I came here to see you shake the room. Shake the room for me.” It seems the DJ was trying to get the crowd hyped up before playing Pop Smoke and Quavo‘s collaboration, “Shake The Room.” However, he didn’t need to objectify Ari and order her around in the process.

DJ Akademiks posted the video on his IG page and asked his followers whether they found the DJ’s behavior to be disrespectful. “That’s what she’s known for . But the Dj outta pocket for that,” one person commented. “This is sad bruh, and she knows it too, that’s what happens when you have no talent but wanna be in the entertainment industry,” someone else reasoned. Others brought Ari’s boyfriend, Moneybagg Yo, into the mix, imagining how heated (and potentially lethal) of a reaction this would draw from him. “He tryna die die,” reads another comment. 

This DJ was not letting anyone miss just who Moneybagg Yo brought as a special guest to the club. Rumoured couple Moneybagg Yo and Ari Fletcher were spotted together at a nightclub this weekend, heating up speculation that the two of them are in the beginning stages of a romantic relationship. After they were spotted on a separate occasion at a nightclub together near the end of 2019, rumours began swirling that they were together. Since then, they’ve have been dropping hints that something more than a friendship is developing. Now, their possible fling has been called out by the DJ at a club they partied at together recently. In a video posted by The Shade Room, Ari can be seen dancing in Moneybagg’s section along with the rest of his posse, and the man on the ones and twos took it upon himself to announce it to the whole club.

In the video, as Moneybagg is posted up in the front of the section, Ari sways in the back. The DJ can be heard yelling, “What up, Ari!” to which Ari reacts by acknowledging the shoutout with a wave, maintaining a bit of disinterest as she looks at her phone. The DJ does not let up, though, shouting “Ari, you’re getting too much money, Ari!” in a way that seems like he might be mocking her presence there. Ari is no stranger to affiliating herself with rappers, though. She has previously dated Gervonta Davis and has a child with G Herbo, whom she accused of beating her last year.
