Faith Evans and Stevie J are still going strong and putting work into their marriage after Faith allegedly attacked Stevie, leading to her recent arrest for domestic violence. The incident occurred a few weeks ago after cops responded to a call about a heated argument taking place at their LA home. Officers noticed that Stevie had visible marks and scratches all over his face, and Faith was subsequently booked for felony domestic violence at around 1:00am to be later released on bond.

However, according to The Shade Room, this is not the end of the road for the married couple. “That’s my wife and I love her!” Stevie told TSR. “I’m not going anywhere!” TSR reports that Faith and Stevie are “working on their relationship” along with some new music together. The couple’s joint album, which is “nearly complete,” is set to drop sometime in September. Stevie reveals that the album is “just us for now” with no outside features.

As for the rumours that their marriage is on the rocks? “You can’t believe everything you hear,” says Faith, who is celebrating her 47th birthday today. Stevie even posted a brief clip of her along with a loving birthday message on Instagram. “Today a true Queen was born and I’m grateful to be your friend & your husband,” he wrote. “You are a gem & I appreciate you & love you for allowing me to see what love truly is #DaJordans.”

In the wake of Pop Smoke being murdered in a home invasion, rappers aren’t taking any chances, including Hitmaka, also known as Yung Berg. Hip Hop artists aren’t strangers to watching their backs and keeping their security in check, but the brazen and bold behaviors of thieves have caused many to enforce extra precautions. Recently, Hitmaka faced allegations of domestic violence after a news report circulated that he’d assaulted his girlfriend. However, he quickly had his lawyer draft an official statement stating that he isn’t in a relationship with the woman at all. In fact, he claims she was plotting a home invasion robbery with a number of other individuals and even shared the surveillance footage from his home.

Talia Tilley, the woman in question, acquired legal representation of her own and sent Hitmaka a letter. “Ms. Tilley is in fear for her life due to Mr. Ward’s public and defamatory allegations against her and the fact that he knows where she lives,” the statement reads, adding that Talia is seeking therapy. 

“We believe that it is in the best interests of all parties concerned to explore an amicable and private resolution prior to commencing any formal litigations,” the document continues. Hitmaka shared a portion of the letter on social media and wrote in the caption, “I COULDV’E BEEN DEAD !!! MONEY HUH? NOW YALL CAN SEE.” He also shared DMs that are allegedly from Talia Tilley.

“U got one day,” the message says. “It’s about to get sent I want us to be cool I don’t want anything from u beat my asss. U gonna have to pay me and I’m cool u gave me stitches on my face. I’m telling u I wasn’t expecting this. Get real. Be real.” Check it all out below.

This is Gorilla Zoe‘s second run-in with the law within the last three months. Back in November, rapper Gorilla Zoe was reportedly arrested on charges of domestic violence following an incident that occurred at a hotel. This time, the rapper was taken into custody in South Florida at the Miami International Airport after he reportedly attempted to bring a loaded firearm onto a plane.

Gorilla Zoe, real name Keith Mathis, was searched by TSA at their security checkpoint. It was then that they located a “loaded .38 caliber gun in his carry-on bag,” NBC 6 News reported. Mathis was charged with one count of carrying a concealed firearm as his gun license was suspended.

Back in November, we reported that Mathis was detained following an altercation with a woman at the La Siesta Resort. A staff member called the police after they claimed they saw Mathis become physical with the woman while the couple was out on a hotel balcony together. When officers arrived, it’s reported that Mathis was found holding the woman down.

The rapper’s female companion would later tell police that they were just drunk and that Mathis was never physically abusive toward her. The “Hood N*gga” rapper posted bail and was soon released.

You never know who could be recording your moves when you’re out and about. Celebrities are often filmed by fans without their knowledge, but a recent video reportedly sparked an investigation that led to Gervonta Davis’s arrest. Just weeks ago, the boxing champion declared victory over Yuriorkis Gamboa, and while he’s still riding high from that win, it seems that he’s found himself in trouble with the law.

A video recently went viral that showed Davis grabbing his ex-girlfriend, the mother of his child, by the collar while yelling at her. He’s seen in the clip pushing her out of the charity basketball game. “I never once hit her, yea I was aggressive and told her come on,” Davis later explained. “That’s the mother of my child I would never hurt her other than that happy New Years.. January was trash.”

Davis was arrested on a charge of simple battery domestic violence after police reportedly claimed that there was unreleased footage that shows Davis striking the mother of his child in the face. TMZ states that the video shows Davis “pulling his arm back and then forward towards the victim, which is consistent with a strike to the face where the victim sustained injuries to her lip and left jaw.”

Davis reportedly shared a brief message on his Instagram Story about his recent troubles. “Be careful with the decision you make,” he wrote. “One mistake can mess up everything..I’m learning ??.”

It’s a family affair on this season of Growing Up Hip Hop. Not only has rap icon Pepa of Salt-N-Pepa back on the small screen with her daughter Egypt Criss, but Pep is also joined by her son, Tyran Moore, and her ex-husband, Naughty By Nature’s Treach. Pepa and Treach’s relationship has been the subject of controversy for decades, but the crux of their scandalous headlines came from Pepa’s allegations that during their relationship, Treach was physically abusive toward her.

Treach has publicly addressed the accusations on multiple occasions and even spoke with their daughter Egypt about it on their reality show. Both father and daughter recently stopped by The Breakfast Club for a quick chat about Growing Up Hip Hop but the topic of Treach’s relationship with Pepa couldn’t be avoided.

“We have a love-hate relationship,” Treach admitted. “We good, it’s just, it’s certain things that come up from her book, and now it’s gonna be a Salt-N-Pepa movie. So they come to me and I’m looking at the character they got for me and they wanna release it. And it will never happen, you feel me? It’s like, What’s Love Got to do With It was a great movie, but it wasn’t our story.”

He said he didn’t take any legal action when the accusations first surfaced because his career didn’t skip a beat. “It wasn’t like I was blackballed or anything else. It’s getting to a stage now because I’m seeing—when I actually got the script of what they were saying, I’ve had to keep saying, ‘When did this ever happen?'” He added that he asked Pepa about the same stories in the book and he claims she told him that she didn’t proofread it.

Treach stressed that the #MeToo movement has the capabilities of completely ruining a person’s legacy and career, so he wanted to know exactly when these domestic violence events occurred. “I don’t even know if my kids ever even heard us argue,” Treach said while Egypt interjected she couldn’t recollect any incidents. She also said that Pepa is careful about what’s included and shared publicly because she doesn’t want his life to be negatively affected by any allegations.
