Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson may just be elected the new president of the United States come November, after his impassioned "Where are You?" speech to Trump regarding the nationwide protests against police brutality appears to have put the pro-wrestler-turned-actor on the American people's presidential radar. According to a report by Newsweek, The Rock is now the third highest choice for a presidential win, behind Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

Newsweek reports that odds aggregator site OddsChecker has calculated that 3.34% of all 2020 election bets have been placed on The Rock, following his powerful speech in support of Black Lives Matter, in which he called out Trump for his lack of leadership skills.
"Where are you?" he asked the president. "Our country is crippled and on its knees, begging to be heard and pleading for change. Where is our compassionate leader? The leader who unifies and inspires our country at our most painful time when we need it the most. The leader who steps up and takes full accountability for our country and embraces every color in it. The leader who picks our country up off its knees and says you have my word - we got this - and together, change will happen."
View this post on Instagram"Where are you? Because we’re all here," he continued. "Maybe one day that galvanizing leader will emerge. Either way, the process to change has already begun." Many regarded the speech as presidential itself, which explains the sudden surge in his White House odds. However, bookmakers have him priced at +40,000, meaning he only has 0.2 percent chance of winning.
Okay, so he's almost definitely not going to become president, but the fact that he's even being considered by some folks is bizarre and shocking enough. But hey, if a billionaire game show host can become president, why not The Rock? (Please don't vote for The Rock).

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson’s Father, Rocky Johnson, Passes Away At 75
Rest in Power, Rocky “Soul Man” Johnson.
Earlier on Wednesday, Jan. 15, it was revealed that WWE Hall of Fame wrestler and father of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Rocky “Soul Man” Johnson, had passed away at the age of 75-years-old. According to TMZ, the cause of death for the famed athlete, born Wayde Douglas Bowles, has yet to be announced.
Bowles began his professional wrestling career in the mid-1960s as a member of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). Despite the difficulties of being an African-American wrestler throughout the South in the ’60s and ’70s, he was able to earn the NWA Georgia Champion and the NWA Southern Heavyweight Memphis Championship belts for his performances.
In 1982, Rocky “Soul Man” Johnson joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) where and his tag-team partner, Tony Atlas, became the promotion’s first Black-American Tag Team Champions known as The Soul Patrol. In 1991, the Soul Man officially retired from in-ring action and took on a significant role training his son, Dwayne, for a pro-wrestling career.
With his son following in his footsteps and becoming one of wrestling’s most electrifying personalities and a world-renowned blockbuster movie star, Bowles set the example for Dwayne Johnson to become who he is today. With Johnson juggling so many projects and preparing for more on-screen endeavors in the near future, this has to be a numbing hardship for the Jumanji frontman to experience at the pinnacle of his career.
With that said, stick with HNHH as details unfold in regards to the death of Rocky Johnson and check out a recent post about the Soul Man posted by none other than his biggest fan and son below.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Looks Insanely Shredded While Training For "Black Adam"
Is The Rock even human?
Well, they don’t call him “The Rock” for nothing. Dwayne Johnson officially announced last November that he would be playing the titular character the film adaptation of DC Comics’ Black Adam, and it appears that he couldn’t be taking the physical demands of the role any more seriously. On Friday, The Rock shared some photos of himself mid-workout in preparation to shoot the origin story movie for Black Adam this summer.
Using the same caption in these first two posts to double the powerful effect, The Rock wrote, “New era. #dcuniverse #blackadam⚡️ @jonbrandoncruz ? Shooting starts this summer.” He captioned the third photo from his weight-lifting workout, in which he’s switched over to using a barbell, “The hierarchy of power in the #DCUniverse is about to change. #NewEra #AntiHeroTraining #BlackAdam⚡️ @jonbrandoncruz ?Shooting starts this summer.”
While the photos have definitely been edited in such a way that emphasizes The Rock’s ripped muscles, it’s still incredible to see how jacked he is. Though he did indicate that his character’s arch-nemesis, Shazaam, likely won’t be making an appearance in the film, he did reveal that Black Adam, which is set to be released in theatres around the end of 2021, will serve as the cinematic introduction of The Justice Society of America from the comics.
