Gabrielle Union has officially filed a complaint against NBC Universal after they failed to negotiate with her regarding the "toxic" work culture on the set of America's Got Talent, and Dwyane Wade has a lot to say now that he can finally speak on the matter. Gabrielle's negative experiences during her time as a judge on AGT were initially revealed back in November of last year, and after months of attempting to work with the network on how to solve their internal issues, the actress has filed a complaint against NBC Universal, Fremantle, Simon Cowell, and SYCO Entertainment, and will be filing a separate lawsuit against Cowell.
New York Magazine and HuffPost Contributor Yashar Ali initially broke the news on Twitter, after which Gabrielle's hubby, D-Wade, finally went off about how he really feels. He retweeted Yashar's post and directed his message at NBC, letting months of bottled up frustration out and revealing that the negotiating process has been hell for his family. "Y’all have deemed her a liar after months of trying to inform y’all of the issues in the work place and also make sure other employees of color that comes after her won’t have the same experiences," he wrote. "Instead of looking thru the lens of someone who has been an advocate for the black and brown community, for women and for rape victims."
"So instead of making sure your work environment is a a better place for everyone. Y’all have decided that she what? Made it all up because she lost a job?" he continued. "She’s a black women in Hollywood she has lost out on many jobs."
"When these negotiations started my house started being watched and my family started being followed," he revealed. "My daughter couldn’t even go to swim class without us being trailed by people looking for answers. Well y’all have the answers and y’all still don’t wanna listen to them."
Last week, Gabrielle went into greater detail about her experiences while working on America's Got Talent in Variety's cover story.
Zaya Wade Called "Young Man" By Hill Harper, Actor Offers Apology
Zaya Wade turns 13-years-old today, and while sending well-wishes, actor Hill Harper referred to the transitioning teen as a "young man."
Zaya Wade is officially a teenager as she celebrates her 13th birthday. Father Dwyane Wade and stepmom Gabrielle Union are proud parents of the teen and they expressed their love with heartfelt, lengthy social media posts dedicated to Zaya. For months, the Wade family has been met with criticism because of their acceptance of Zaya transitioning from male to female at such a young age, but it hasn't deterred the family from being a supportive unit. Actor Hill Harper chimed in to wish Zaya a happy birthday, but in his message, he referred to Zaya as a boy and was quickly met with backlash.
"Happy Birthday young man!! Read 'Letters to a Young Brother'!!! Your mom wrote something in it!! You'll love it! Have a great day!!" Harper commented. It didn't take long for the public to let Harper know that Zaya Wade now identifies as a girl, and he was quick to respond. "I would like to apologize for my post. I am responsible for what gets posted and I made a horrible error. I misgendered my friend’s child and I am so sorry to Zaya and the entire Wade family. It was not my intention to misgender and misrepresent her in any way. I celebrate Zaya," Hill Harper tweeted. "As a family friend I feel so bad that I may have taken away from the celebration. Zaya’s courage and strength is something I celebrate. And there was absolutely no malicious intent to my post."
"I am human and I am learning and often trying to do too many things which leads to mistakes like this one. I am sorry," Harper continued. "I’m sorry to those my post offended, that was certainly not my intention." He went to reiterate his apology once again, adding that during these times, the last thing he wanted to do was to become a "negative distraction." Dwyane Wade Debuts Red Hair, Dennis Rodman Responds
Dwyane Wade is getting creative with his hair and Dennis Rodman seems to be a big fan.
Dwyane Wade has been living the good life during his retirement. He has been able to spend a lot more time with his family including his daughter Zaya who has been teaching him a lot about gender identity and how you can be yourself. Over the last couple of days, Zaya and D-Wade have been showing off their matching red hairstyles. For Wade, this look is certainly a departure from what he is used to but clearly, he wants to support his daughter and he figured he would make a bit of a change.
Well, it seems like the forefather of NBA hair colors, Dennis Rodman, approves. After debuting the hairstyle for his millions of followers, Wade received a comment from Rodman saying “Nice. Hair. Brother!!”
If you’ve been watching “The Last Dance,” you would know that Rodman had some pretty wild hairstyles throughout his career and it became something he was known for. Sometimes he would have bizarre patterns on his head which made his on-court look that much more interesting. Needless to say, if anyone should be commenting on people’s hair color, it would be Rodman.
As for Wade, it will be interesting to see what kind of hairstyle he comes up with next. Perhaps a nice green could work for him.
Dwyane Wade Answers If Heat Big 3 Is The Greatest Ever
Dwyane Wade recently spoke on the success of the Miami Heat’s infamous Big 3.
Back in 2010, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh teamed up on the Miami Heat and were able to usher in the superteam era of the NBA. At the time, there were high expectations for this squad as many people believed they could win multiple championships. After losing in the Finals in 2011, the Heat were able to come back and win two straight titles before losing in 2014 and disbanding for good.
During an episode of Bleacher Report’s “Running It Back,” Wade spoke on the success of the Big 3 and whether or not it was the best trio in NBA history. As Wade explains, they certainly aren’t the best trio but they are amongst the top of the top.

“Are we the best of all time?” Wade asked. “Probably not, but we’re definitely one of the top in the sense of the body of work that we put in in those four years. “But are we the best? That’s not for me to say, but we’re definitely one of the best.”
Udonis Haslem was a part of the conversation and he noted that he felt the Heat were easily top 3 but the Bulls with Scottie Pippen, Michael Jordan, and Dennis Rodman were number one.

Dwyane Wade & Gabrielle Union’s Daughter Hilariously Fails Viral Snack Challenge
Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union’s youngest daughter, 18-month-old Kaa, did not even attempt to follow the rules of a new viral snack challenge.
Some babies just do not have time to mess around, and nothing could be more true about Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union’s 18-month-old daughter, Kaa. The toddler was practically born with an expression on her face indicating that she’s permanently “over it” already, a look that has delighted the Internet ever since she was introduced to the world last November. Kaa is equal parts adorable and hilarious on any given day, but when she recently participated in a viral snack challenge with her mom, Gabrielle Union, she had everyone in tears from laughing so hard.

Recently, parents all over the world have been testing their toddlers’ patience by seeing if they can manage to restrain themselves from eating their favourite snack food until mommy or daddy comes back. While some kids listened and waited until their parent had returned before eating the snack, others, unaware that they are being filmed, have been digging right in once their parent is out of sight.

A few celebrities have taken part in the challenge, and while some famous babies, like Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott‘s daughter, Stormi, succeeded, others, like Kaa, couldn’t be bothered to participate in some silly game. In the clip shared by the one-and-a-half-year-old’s own IG account on Wednesday (May 13th), Gabrielle instructs her daughter not to eat her snack until she comes back. However, Kaa immediately runs toward the bowl and grabs a handful, ultimately failing the challenge but making for hilarious results. “Yall knew those snacks didn’t stand a chance,” the caption of the post read. “Why yall keep trying me?!?” Check out the full clip below:
Boosie Badazz Has Been Offered A Reality Dating Show Much Like "Flavor Of Love"
Boosie Badazz already has a reality series on the way, but other networks are trying to get him to be featured on a dating show, much like VH1’s “Flavor of Love.”
If you’ve been overwhelmed with the amount of Boosie Badazz-related content you’ve been receiving lately across social media, then too bad. The rapper’s reality show Badazz Bossie is on the way, and he describes it as the best one anyone has ever seen. He told VladTV that audiences will “cry laughing,” even though he may have lost a few advertisers due to his controversial remarks about Dwyane Wade’s transgender daughter, Zaya Wade.

Badazz Boosie is produced by The FUBU Network and HotNewHipHop, but prior to inking that deal, Bossie Badazz said that he was pitched an idea for a dating show that would have been much like Flavor of Love. He said there have been a few networks who have reached out, including We TV who produces series’ like Growing Up Hip Hop and Waka & Tammy: What The Flocka, but he’s “just focused on the reality show [he] has right now.”
While he seems to be lasered in on Badazz Boosie, the future is an open field of possibilities. “I can’t say what I’m gonna do, money talks,” Boosie said. “If I’m gon’ take it, they gon’ make a whole bunch of f*ckin’ money [laughs].” However, because the networks have been pitching the dating show idea, he claimed that he wouldn’t have ownership in it. “In my reality show, I got ownership,” he said. “If you ain’t giving me ownership, you gotta give me a lotta money.” Watch Boosie Badazz talk about his reality television career below.
Boosie Badazz Unapologetic Over Trans Remarks, Says Jay-Z Didn’t Try To Call Him
Boosie Badazz recently made waves over his comments about Zaya Wade, and while he won’t apologize, he does say that he doesn’t have “nothing against nobody.”
After 12-year-old Zaya Wade came out as transgender, it became the talk of social media. Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union openly supported Zaya’s transition, causing many parents and non-parents alike to weigh in with their opinion on the famous couple. Boosie Badazz made waves over his criticisms, so much so that it was rumored that Jay-Z attempted to lock down a conversation with him—a chat that Boosie reportedly turned down. However, during a recent conversation with VladTV, Boosie clarified that Jay never actually wanted to talk to him.

“The people got it wrong,” he said. “The owner of my reality show, he know Jay. We started losing advertising, he like, ‘Imma call Jay. Jay can put you on the line with Dwyane Wade and y’all do some sh*t. We clear this sh*t up and go get the bag. Whoopty woo. Jay can make it happen.’ He the one who can make it happen. He from New York, my boy from New York. I was just like, no, bruh. No, I ain’t…I stand what I stand on. I don’t feel I said nothing wrong to apologize for.”
Boosie admitted that even his mother “got on [his] ass about the situation.” He added, “That’s where I got that line from, ‘Who am I to judge?’ ‘Cause she kept saying that. And I just made the song.” The rapper said his mother pointed out the things that he does that people may not like, but he figured that she was just trying to “get in [his] head to flip [him]” and he wasn’t having any part of it. “I ain’t apologizing.”
“I feel kids can’t make decisions like that at that age and I just believe in traditional values, that’s all,” he said matter-of-factly. “And people took it the wrong way but I wasn’t trying to harm nobody about it. I don’t have nothing against nobody or nothing like that.” Watch Boosie Badazz talk about his views on Zaya Wade below and check out what else he had to say about being banned from Planet Fitness over his comments.
Gabrielle Union Thinks It’s "Odd" To Receive Praise For Supporting Zaya Wade
Gabrielle Union believes all parents should support their children, so she finds it odd that she and Dwyane Wade have received recognition for encouraging Zaya Wade through her transition.
Ever since they shared that Zaya Wade was transitioning from male to female at 12-years-old, parents Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union have faced backlash. They’ve been criticized for supporting Zaya during this time, but the LGBTQIA+ community have stood by their side. Dwyane and Gabrielle have been applauded for how they’ve accepted Zaya, and during a recent chat with Ellen DeGeneres, the actress talked about how it’s strange for her to be praised for something she says parents should do, anyway.

“To us, it’s a little odd to get any kind of recognition for doing what you’re supposed to do, which is love, and accept, and embrace your kids,” Gabrielle Union said. “So it’s odd to get recognition for that. Unfortunately, there are so many people who just don’t.” She added, “[There are] so many people who really truly feel like their kids are disposable. If they’re not perfect images of them, they’re not interested. And it’s heartbreaking. So we’re just doing what is natural to us, and loving her.”
Later, in another interview, Gabrielle gave advice to parents raising an LGBTQIA+ child. “Love your child, listen to your child, accept your child,” she answered. “Reject the notion that your children are disposable if they are not little mini versions of you and that creating more of you isn’t in every kind of way, isn’t the solution to keeping them safe or paving the way for a happy life.” Watch a clip of the actress dishing out advice to LGBTQIA+ parents below.
Dwyane Wade Makes Gabrielle Union Watch His Old NBA Games In Quarantine
Gabrielle Union told Jimmy Fallon during a virtual interview that her husband Dwyane Wade makes her watch his old NBA games in quarantine.
It looks like the combination of his recent retirement and quarantine has Dwyane Wade feeling nostalgic. The former NBA player’s wife, Gabrielle Union, recently sat down for a virtual interview with The Tonight Show host, Jimmy Fallon. During their video chat, they each shared what they’ve been up to since going into isolation, and while Jimmy’s been pretty busy with his regular hosting duties, Gabrielle has had a little more free time than usual. She revealed that she’s been recording some workouts for a free fitness app, and that her former pro athlete hubby has been training her from home. Not only that, but he’s also been making her watch his NBA games from back in the good old days.

When Jimmy asks Gabrielle how Dwyane is coping with having no sports to watch on TV, she reveals that he’s been keeping himself entertained by watching Michael Jordan‘s docuseries, The Last Dance, on Netflix, as well as his own games. “Like he doesn’t know how they end?” she jokes. “We watched the ’06 finals, and obviously I’ve seen it over the years, but never with him, you know? Like he’s live tweeting this game, and he’s like, ‘Oh, good move, D-Wade.'”

“But then I started watching it like I didn’t know how it ended,” she confesses. “And he missed these two free-throws at the end of the game and like, I didn’t want to talk to him for the rest of the night.” Watch her full interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show below:
Gabrielle Union Roasts D-Wade For Nightmarish Retirement
Dwyane Wade is already getting on Gabrielle Union’s nerves.
Dwyane Wade will forever be remembered as a legend of the game of basketball, who won three championships with the Miami Heat. Two of those titles were with LeBron James and that Heat superteam will go down in history as one of the greatest ever. Now, Wade is retired and has been enjoying life at home with his children and, of course, his wife Gabrielle Union. Wade has been able to get even more quality time with his family now that we are under quarantine due to the Coronavirus.
While you would think this would make everyone in the house happy, it appears to have done the opposite for Union, although in a joking way, of course. Recently, Wade and Union were on “The Ellen Degeneres Show” and had a ton of fun playing “Finger Pointers.” At one point though, Union jokingly admitted that Wade’s retirement has been a “nightmare” for her since he is around the house a lot more frequently than before.
Wade didn’t seem to take much offense by the comments. At the end of the day, they’re guests on an entertainment show so you have to expect these jokes coming your way. Besides, Wade is living the good life now that he doesn’t have to worry about training for games every single day.
As for Union, Wade’s prolonged stay at home is just something the two of them will have to get used to.
