Fans clowned Akon to no end for actually going ahead and collaborating with 6ix9ine, after the rapper posted a clip of them vibing to their unreleased song "Locked Up Part 2," a remix of Akon's 2006 track of the same name. It's no secret how Akon feels about 6ix9ine, as the singer has defended his snitching ways on multiple occasions, insisting that he would've done the same thing. The two of them were even supposed to go head-to-head for a hit battle last month, but it never panned out. Akon might be one of the only artists in the industry that still associates themselves with 6ix9ine—at least publicly—so it should come as no surprise that the two of them are working together, but for some reason, it still does.
6ix9ine posted the clip of the two of them previewing the remix on Sunday (June 7th), and it didn't take long for fans to pass judgement on Akon for his questionable choice of a collaborator. 6ix9ine's curious rainbow wig was also a big point of focus, for obvious reasons.
Young M.A. Helps Atlanta Fan Who Got Stopped By Police
Young M.A. helped de-escalate a situation between one of her fans and Atlanta police after she was pulled over for "blocking traffic."
Young M.A. is helping out in Atlanta, Georgia right now by doing what she can to fight for racial justice in America. Things have taken a serious turn in the country with protests taking place all weekend as property is destroyed and a message is sent. The people will not stand to be treated as second-rate humans anymore, standing united and voicing their concerns.
The Red Flu rapper was interacting with one of her fans, who pulled over on the side of the street to speak with her. When two police officers pulled her over for "stopping traffic" even though she had pulled to the side, Young M.A. got involved and shouted at the cops, getting a crowd to gather for fifteen minutes until the woman was let off with a warning.

During the situation, one of the officers called for back-up, which brought two extra cops to the scene. M.A. didn't let up until her fan was allowed to leave with a verbal warning and nothing more, doing her part to help out.
"She came up to me showing love as a fan, bro," yelled the rapper as she cruised in her car following the altercation. "And them n***as pulled her over 'cause she was in the middle of traffic. And we all pulled up, five cars deep, all police. We don't want no smoke, we don't want no problems. But you not gon' do that to my fans, though."
She goes on to say that she doesn't mean to disrespect the officers who "didn't do the most" according to her, but she's proud that she was able to help de-escalate the situation.

Lupe Fiasco Releases "Stan" Freestyle Following Exchange With Ungrateful Fan
Lupe Fiasco responds to a fan by way of a "Stan" freestyle.
The accessibility of social media means that all celebrities can be inundated by their fans, 24/7. They may not take the time to reply and check every single comment or message, but the fact remains that any fan can send a comment or message directly to their favorite celebrity whenever they please-- whether it's good or bad.
There are some artists who choose to engage more often with their fans. Lupe Fiasco appears to be one of them. The rapper decided to reveal one of the many DMs he receives daily, which was in fact, a negative DM. Lupe took a different approach in his response to the upset fan-- he not only offered his "acknowledgment" directly on an Instagram post, but he hit the booth and recorded a full-on song over Eminem's "Stan" instrumental.
The fan wrote to Lupe, "Damn man. We the fans made u rich and u don’t even have decency to acknowledge us, that’s so wrong man. ur doing it wrong." After screenshoting the message and sharing it on IG, as you can see below, and then he elaborates further on this idea that it's the fans who've made him (or any artist) rich by exposing misinformation in the "Stan" freestyle.
"I mean Pat, I think you gotta understand / I'm just a regular person / I'm just a man / I know you like a fan and felt / you did a lot for me / but I had something to do with writing raps / right, possibly? / I mean I did a lot to get to where I am / a lot of sacrifice to have someone like you as a fan / And this ain't easy, the record labels are greazy / Even with all of that / I don't want to downplay your role / Believe me," he raps.
He continues: "The last thing you wanna hear is some fan saying that you made me / Or that you pay my bill," Lupe continues. "You pay like $10 to keep it real / if you bought every album that would probably be like 50 or 60 / if you did a show, that's another 35 / that's less than $100, that's not enough to keep us alive / and I don't wanna downplay your input / or your financial transactions to get us where we are / but there's more to our job than just pretending to be a star."

YNW Bortlen's attorney says that YNW Melly will likely not be released from prison anytime soon.
YNW Bortlen, born Cortlen Henry, was granted $75,000 bond and house arrest this week, leaving fans of incarcerated rapper YNW Melly hoping for his own imminent release. There are reports that a lack of evidence could point to the artist's release happening sooner rather than later but, according to an attorney for YNW Bortlen, that's simply not the case.
If you've been hoping for the prompt release of 21-year-old Melly, you shouldn't be getting your hopes up, according to attorney John M. Phillips.
After sharing legal documents that confirmed YNW Bortlen's bond, the lawyer sent a message to YNW Melly fans, telling them that they're not thinking straight if they think he's coming home soon.
"The Melly fans thinking he’s getting released are beyond delusional," tweeted Phillips. "He’s not getting released unless a jury says so and there is evidence he killed these young men in cold blood. Whether you like his music or not, these families deserve justice."
So, there you have it. Apparently, there wasn't sufficient evidence against YNW Bortlen but his friend YNW Melly did not get the same luck.
The rapper is currently facing the death penalty. He is set for trial later this year, where a jury will determine his fate.
NFL Executive Vice President Planning For Full Stadiums Next Season
The NFL’s executive vice president is planning to have full stadiums when the season starts.
NFL’s executive vice president of football operations, Troy Vincent, says the league is expecting the season to start with full attendance at stadiums.

Vincent spoke about the upcoming season on The Team 980’s The Brian Mitchell Show. “We are planning to have full stadiums until the medical community tells us otherwise,” he said. “Now, remember when we’re talking—we’re talking about September, August, September. So there’s a lot that can happen here. So we’re planning for full stadiums.”
He goes on to say that the NFL is planning for all scenarios, just in case. “We also know that we have to plan for half stadiums. Three-quarters. So we’re planning for all of these different scenarios. But first and foremost, we’re making every effort, working with the medical community, if we can have those stadiums with all people until they tell us otherwise when that time comes, that’s our plan. That’s our plan of action.”
While the country is beginning to reopen in many states, experts suggest that the fall and winter months may see a rise in COVID-19 cases, which would coincide with the NFL season.
The NBA, which has had its season delayed from the pandemic, is in talks to resume play in July.

6ix9ine Letting Fans Determine Name Of New Song
6ix9ine is putting the fate of his new song title into the hands of his fans by letting them decide what it will be named.
6ix9ine’s attention-seeking brigade continues to persist, and this time, he’s putting the power of choosing his next song title into the hands of his fans. 6ix9ine initially promised that the follow-up single to his explosive hit, “GOOBA,” would be arriving yesterday, but the rapper later decided to push back the release date another week. However, despite the fact that this new song is supposed to be arriving in six days, 6ix9ine revealed that he actually hasn’t come up with a title for it yet, and decided to let his fans assist him in naming the new tune. On Saturday (May 23rd), he announced on Instagram that the comment on his post that receives the most likes will officially become the name of his new song.
So far, it looks like 6ix9ine’s own comment, “Trollz ?” is the most liked of the bunch, which would ultimately defeat the purpose of the game. However, a few strong contenders are comments like “The snitcha” or “SNITCH 9ine,” so he may end up having to rep a track about his notorious street cred faux pas.
It was recently speculated that the song was going to be titled “TACO,” and that it would feature past 6ix9ine collaborator, Nicki Minaj. While Nicki may still be featured on the new song, it looks like it won’t be named after the Mexican dish after all.
What do you think the song should be called?
Kevin Gates Hounded By Fans Over Sex Tape Leak
Kevin Gates has been ignoring a leaked sex tape that shows him getting intimate with a woman that is not his wife.
Kevin Gates is known for bragging about his skills in the bedroom, getting freaky with his wife and detailing the nasty stuff they’re into in his songs. So, when a leaked sex tape appeared on the internet this weekend, fans were confused by how vanilla the video was. In addition, Gates was not with his wife Dreka in the sex tape, which has prompted break-up rumors for the hip-hop power couple.
Since the leak, Kevin and Dreka have not commented on the status of their relationship. They have actually ignored the topic altogether, going on with their regular routines. Dreka has been silent on social media and Kevin has been posting his motivational quotes and promoting his humorous series on Vice.
In the comments to his new video on Instagram, fans hounded the rapper for an explanation as to why and how the sex tape got leaked, also urging him to speak on whether his wife and he are alright after this.
Randy Shropshire/Getty Images“Let’s talk about this sex tape because baaabbbbyyyy,” wrote one commenter. “Aye explain yo self big general lmao,” said another. “So you not gon address the tape,” added a third.
For the most part, people are confused as to why Kevin Gates is trying to pretend as though the tape doesn’t exist.
Do you think he’ll end up issuing a statement or is this just another bump in the road in Kevin and Dreka’s rocky marriage?
Live Nation To Test Dive-In & Fan-less Concert Experiences

CEO Michael Rapino explained that they will be experimenting with drive-in concerts, fan-less virtual concerts and more during the company’s first-quarter earnings call on Thursday.
“So over the next six months, we’ll be starting slow and small, focusing on the basics and testing regionally,” he said. “But whether it’s in Arkansas or [another] state that is safe, secure, and politically fine to proceed in, we’re going to dabble in fan-less concerts with broadcasts and reduced-capacity shows, because we can make the math work. There are a lot of great artists that can sell out an arena, but they’ll do higher-end theaters or clubs.
“So you’re gonna see us [gradually reopening] in different countries, whether it’s Finland, Asia, Hong Kong — certain markets are farther ahead [in the recovery process],” he continued. “Over the summer there will be testing happening, whether it’s fan-less concerts, which offer great broadcast opportunities and are really important for our sponsorship business; drive-in concerts, which we’re going to test and roll out and we’re having some success with; or reduced-capacity festival concerts, which could be outdoors in a theater on a large stadium floor, where there’s enough room to be safe.
“We think in the fall, if there are no second hotspots, you’ll see markets around the world [reopening] — Europe, specifically, has talked about opening up 5000-plus [gatherings] in September,” Rapino concluded. “And on the venue side, we’re dealing with federal, the White House, every government body you can imagine, and we’ve got a great task force around what we have to do with the venue to make you safe. So I think in the fall you’ll see more experimenting and more shows happening in a theater setting, into some arenas. And then our goal is really to be on sale in the third and fourth quarters for 2021 at full scale.”
Live Nation has also begun reopening concerts, but only allowing 20% capacity and other catches.

Ariana Grande Granted 5-Year Restraining Order Against Stalker Fan
Ariana Grande & her mother were recently confronted with an obsessed fan who snuck onto their property and knocked on their door.
Most fans admire their favorite celebrities from afar, but there are a select few who don’t understand the concept of boundaries. Ariana Grande has had her fair share of frightening run-ins with fans who believe that they are somehow connected to the award-winning singer, including a man named Fidel Henriquez.
