Moneybagg Yo has made it clear that he is not down to do any TikTok dance challenges with his girlfriend, Ari Fletcher—especially the viral Flip The Switch challenge. As TikTok's popularity grows faster and wider than ever before, plenty of viral challenges have been birthed from the video-creating app. While some challenges are pretty reprehensible—like the "Coronavirus Challenge" that involves licking unsavoury things like public toilet seats—others, like most of the dance challenges, are merely harmless fun. One dance challenge in particular involves participants filming themselves dancing in the mirror while a snippet of Drake's "Nonstop" from his last album, Scorpion, plays. When Drake utters the line, "I just flipped the switch," the participants turn the light off, and turn it back after having swapped clothing. Plenty of famous couples, like Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, have taken on the challenge, but it looks like Moneybagg and Ari won't be one of those couples anytime soon.

Ari took to Twitter on Wednesday to implore her followers to force Moneybagg into the TikTok craze. "My boyfriend won’t do no Tik Toks with me," she wrote. "Can y’all go force him, please." Despite her followers' sincerest efforts, Moneybagg replied to the tweet, declaring, "F*ck dat Ian flipping no switch."
Moneybagg's not the only male who has denounced the challenge, though. Last week, Waka Flocka took to Instagram to criticize all the men participating in the challenge for dressing in women's clothing just for comedy. "This flip the switch challenge is making me realize a lot," he said. "Never will I act or dress like a female: Not for promo. Not for comedy and damn sure not for a f*cking challenge. Where’s the be a real man challenge [?] it’s like being feminine a wave. Please stay WOKE #WhatTheFlocka."
Casanova Tries Drake’s "Flip The Switch" Challenge
Faster than you can utter “please say sike,” Casanova subverts expectations in the viral “Flip The Switch” challenge.
Having amassed a slew of unapologetic tunes like “Set Trippin,” in which teeth are threatened to be unceremoniously removed from gum, Casanova has earned his place among the modern-day gangsta-rap spokesmen. His reputation clearly precedes him, to the point where the idea of Cas partaking in any given viral challenge, let alone the often self-deprecating “Flip The Switch” challenge, feels hard to believe. And yet that’s exactly what happened.

Perhaps it can be chalked up to quarantine-induced boredom. Either way, Cas decided to try his hand at the ongoing viral challenge alongside his girlfriend Swaggy Jazzy. Now, anyone who has seen these couple variants play out has likely developed an idea of what to expect. Spoiler, it more often than not ends up with an exchange of outfits, dress or otherwise. Given that the image of Casanova in a dress is hard to fathom for even the most imaginative mind, one had to wonder if the cabin fever has simply sunk its claws that deep.
Yet faster than you can utter “please say sike,” Casanova subverted expectations with a defiant response. “I wish the fuck I would switch outfits with you,” he snarls, barely containing his enjoyment. “You always ruining the fun trying to be gangsta,” replies Swaggy. “I wish I would be a fuckin’ busta!” he retorts, his tone thick with sarcasm. While this isn’t quite the “Flip The Switch” challenge as originally intended, it does still appear that Cas found a way to have some fun with it all the same.
Mariah Carey Completes St. Patrick’s Day "Flip The Switch" Challenge
Drake’s song “Nonstop” has been going viral on TikTok as Mariah Carey becomes the latest to complete the “Flip The Switch” challenge.
Unfortunately, due to the current global pandemic, you won’t be able to go get shit-faced at your local Irish pub this St. Patrick’s Day because… well… social distancing. If you’ve got some Guinness at home, we suggest that you turn up with your loved ones instead or, if you’re looking for some more wholesome fun, take Mariah Carey‘s tips for a lively St. Paddy’s Day.

Always in the mood to celebrate a holiday, Mariah Carey just tried her hand at the viral “Flip The Switch” challenge, inspired by Drake‘s banger “Nonstop.” In the video, the diva is being tended to by her make-up artist as her twins stand in front of her. In the background, a man carries the family dog in his arms. Once the switch is flipped, the entire gang is decked out in festive outfits, rocking the color green to celebrate March 17 with tons of spirit.
Even though we’re not supposed to be leaving the house, we can still have fun. Now is the time to capitalize on things you’ve been meaning to do around the crib. Clean your room, hang out with your loved ones, and, most importantly, crack open a cold one to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in the most festive way possible.
Lil Scrappy Goes Off On "Super Gangsta Hard Ass" Flip The Switch Critics
Lil Scrappy doesn’t care if people have a problem with men wearing women’s clothes in the Flip The Switch viral challenge.
It’s clear that the Flip The Switch challenge is the latest wave, and Lil Scrappy doesn’t want to hear people complain about it. Five words from Drake‘s “Nonstop” off of his popular 2018 album Scorpion has been given new life in 2020. Thousands of people are “flipping the switch” with their partners after a clip went viral on TikTok, but not everyone thinks it’s all fun and games.
The challenge usually features a guy and a girl who end up switching clothing after the lights go out. Recently, Waka Flocka shared on Instagram that he’s just not about that life. “Never will I act or dress like a female: Not for promo. Not for comedy and damn sure not for a f*cking challenge,” he wrote. “Where’s the be a real man challenge [?] it’s like being feminine a wave. Please stay WOKE #WhatTheFlocka.”
On Tuesday (March 17), Lil Scrappy seemed to have responded to the criticism without directly referencing Waka Flocka. Friends of Lil Scrappy used the Flip The Switch challenge as a way to announce their pregnancy. Scrappy reposted their video and wrote in the caption, “Ion give a f*ck about all these super gansta hard ass niccas that can’t joke all serous with they life all the time niccas gone die hard af ain’t feel the life and feeling of doing what u want and this is it funny and lit af @iamtherealdp you and wifey did that congrats to the both of u.”
People hopped in Lil Scrappy’s comments and told him to “@” Waka, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. Check out the chuckle-worthy pregnancy announcement below and let us know if you agree with Waka or Lil Scrappy on this one.
Waka Flocka Is Not Here For The "Flip The Switch" Challenge
Waka Flocka slammed men for dressing in women’s clothing for comedy by participating in the Flip The Switch challenge with their girlfriends.
You will not catch Waka Flocka in a dress, not even for a laugh. The self-proclaimed “wack rapper” expressed his disapproval of the viral “Flip The Switch” challenge that’s been taking over TikTok recently, which has seen plenty of men swapping outfits with women. In these videos, set to Drake‘s “Nonstop” off his last album, Scorpion, participants film themselves dancing in the mirror before turning their light switch off when Drizzy utters, “I just flipped the switch.” When the light comes back on, seemingly immediately, the participants have traded clothing, making it appear as if by magic thanks to TikTok’s format that allows users to pause and resume filming. The challenge is one of the many Internet fads that originated on TikTok, and tons ofouples have gotten on board with the fun and lighthearted energy of it.

However, it appears that Waka Flocka doesn’t see it that way. He took to Instagram to point out what he believes are the deeper implications of the challenge, as it has led to a lot of men dressing in a feminine way for comedy.
“This flip the switch challenge is making me realize a lot,” he said. “Never will I act or dress like a female: Not for promo. Not for comedy and damn sure not for a f*cking challenge. Where’s the be a real man challenge [?] it’s like being feminine a wave. Please stay WOKE #WhatTheFlocka.” The man has been sharing a lot of controversial opinions lately, including his belief that minorities cannot contract coronavirus. What do you think about the “Flip The Switch” challenge?
Drake Responds To Elizabeth Warren’s "Flip The Switch" Challenge
Drake’s missing the SNL set after Elizabeth Warren and Kate McKinnon the “flip the switch” challenge.
The “Flip The Switch” challenge is taking the Internet by storm even if the song pre-dates TikTok. Drake‘s “Nonstop” is another song off of Scorpion that has launched yet another viral challenge nearly two years after its release. Over the weekend, former Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren joined the cast of SNL before joining Kate McKinnon backstage where the two executed the challenge.
It has since warranted a response from the 6ix God himself. Drake, a.k.a King Slime Drizzy, hit the comment section where he commented more about SNL than Warren herself. The rapper simply said, “Wow I need to come home,” referencing his previous double-duty efforts as host and musical guest. Perhaps that was safer than any acknowledgment of any presidential candidate, past or present, since we all know Drake doesn’t get too political except that one time he called Trump a “f*cking idiot” during a concert.
While it appears Scorpion has caught a second-wind on its own, the anticipation for a new album from Drake is high right now. The rapper’s slowly unveiled a few tracks in recent times including “War,” “Chicago Freestyle” and “When To Say When” as well as the Future-assisted, “Desires.” It’s unclear whether any of these will find their way onto streaming services but all four tracks are strong indications that Drake will be in his bag on his next project.
Jennifer Lopez & Alex Rodriguez "Flip The Switch" For TikTok Challenge
Alex Rodriguez does his best J-Lo impression for viral “Flip The Switch” TikTok challenge.
TikTok has birthed some wild challenges. Its “Skull Breaker Challenge” is downright idiotic, which entails two people tricking a third into jumping in the air so they can kick the victim’s legs out from under them. This craze led to a 13-year-old being seriously injured and his two classmates being arrested and charged. There are more harmless challenges though, such as the “Flip The Switch Challenge”.
Flipping switch just involves two people swapping places with the flick of a light switch. This challenge’s concept is derived from Drake‘s 2018 hit, “Nonstop”, whose following lyric soundtracks that the TikTok clips: “Look, I just flipped the switch (flipped, flipped) / I don’t know nobody else that’s doing this.” The irony is that people are participating in this challenge because literally thousands of other people are doing this (even Elizabeth Warren gave it a shot on SNL this past weekend).
Power couple Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez decided to join in on the fun by making a production of their own. The former MLB player starts off as the videographer, coolly wearing a blazer, button-down and shades. His fiancee gyrates beside him in a white dress. Once the switch is flipped – they forgot to perform the literal action, but Drake still signaled it – Rodriguez loses his steely composure. He mimics J-Lo’s motions as he rocks her dress and even her hoop earrings. “Late night Tiktoks, [100 emoji] @jlo,” Alex captioned the video. He also urged for people to follow him @AROD13, so it seems there will be more content on the way from the lovers.
