As we navigate through this global pandemic together, we learn more about what we can do to prevent the spread of COVID-19 every day. With breaking news every hour, it can be difficult to remain sane during these trying times. We're in self-quarantine in order to protect our family members who are older, immunosuppressed, or at risk of developing serious health issues as a result of the coronavirus. Meek Mill knows how harmful it can be, explaining that he has having flu-like around Christmas time, which ultimately went unresolved. With his description, some fans are convinced that he had the illness before anyone else.
"I was extremely sick in December around christmas time with flu like symptoms," revealed Meek Mill on Twitter. "Everyday I said to myself a older person cannot survive this! I lost like 15 pounds and could barely move! I never been that sick.. a doctor never told me what it was."
Considering the fact that the doctor was unable to identify what was causing his illness, it's possible that he had come into contact with the coronavirus before it was widely spread throughout the globe. While that is pure speculation, fans of the Philadelphia rapper are convinced that it's the truth.
"You had Rona & didn’t even know it," said one person in his comments. The sentiment was echoed by many.
Whether or not Meek actually did have the virus, it's important for us to maintain social distance and continue washing our hands often to protect the people around us. Stay safe.

21 Savage Provides Update On Coronavirus-like Symptoms
21 Savage isn't feeling well.
Saturday, 21 Savage took to Instagram to reveal that he hasn't been feeling too good and naturally bought the topic of the coronavirus into the mix. Per the rapper, he hasn't officially been diagnosed with the COVID-19 disease that the virus causes, however those around him are convinced that he may be infected.
"I been breaking down my symptoms I been feeling and shit. Everybody keep talking 'bout it sound like coronavirus," he revealed in an Instagram story. "So I say, 'OK, say less.' Where could I have received this coronavirus from? So I go to thinking about my schedule. OK, where I went? OK, we went to the club the other night."
View this post on InstagramAccording to 21 Savage, there were too many "fuck boys" in attendance at the club that he attended. In his eyes, they were the most plausible targets for infection, unlike himself.
"So I'm like, ain't no way in hell I caught it in the club, 'cause I know it ain't just skipped over and came straight to me type shit," he added. " 'Cause it's like, damn, whoever the higher power is, bruh, I know it's 60, 70 fuck ni--as in the club. I came with some of the fuck ni--as. So, I know it's a good amount of fuck ni--as in the club tonight. Ain't no way in hell this shit done skipped over all these fuck ni--as and just landed right on me."
He goes on to self-diagnose and chalks his symptoms up to a "sinus cold."
Warriors Reveal Steph Curry Has Flu; Not Coronavirus Related
Steph Curry is out with the flu.
While a typical contraction of the Influenza A virus is usually nothing to cause alarm, the Golden State Warriors have gotten over Steph Curry's recent diagnosis in light of the current coronavirus-fueled climate.
Saturday, the organization issued a statement outlining Curry's condition and giving fans an update on his return--or lack thereof.
"This morning Stephen Curry was diagnosed with influenza A by a positive viral testing," says the Warriors. "We have identified his probable source contact who is not part of basketball operations. He has no specific risk factors for COVID-19. He has the seasonal flu. We have begun treatment for Stephen and have instituted our team protocol for influenza exposure."
The news comes just one game after returning from an injury that had him benched for months. Listen in the NBA Injury Report, Curry sat out the Warrior's match against the Philadelphia 76ers Saturday night.
The need to quell the alarm seems standard considering the concerns surrounding undisclosed illnesses and the COVID-19 disease. In California's Bay Area alone, large mass gatherings have been canceled while they've been outright banned in city buildings in an effort to contain the coronavirus. Across the way, New York State issued an official state of emergency as cases for the illness spiked.
Mother Takes Advice From Anti-Vax FB Group, Son Later Dies
An Anti-Vax Facebook Group advised a mother not to take Tamiflu. Her child later died.
A 4-year-old named Najee in Colorado has died from influenza, after suffering a flu-related seizure, according to Complex.
"The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment can confirm that a preschool-aged child in southern Colorado has died of flu," CDPHE wrote in a statement. "The death is the second pediatric flu death in Colorado this season. The department does not have any records that show whether the child was vaccinated against influenza."
Two of Najee (Junior)'s brothers have also been diagnosed with the flu.
The Colorado Times Recorder, reports that the child's mother sought help from an anti-vax Facebook group before his death. The group suggested elderberry, placing potatoes on the child’s forehead, and simply “eating lots of fruits and vegetables," rather than taking Tamiflu.
“Yes it’s scary the doc told me to give my other two children and myself [Tamiflu] so we won’t get it,” the mother wrote in the Facebook group, seemingly after Najee's hospitalization.
“You’re better off taking Vitamin D and C, Elderberry, Zinc, and eating lots of fruits and vegetables,” one commenter replied.
“Ok perfect I’ll try that,” the mother responded.
Days later, Najee was dead.
"He was my only son that wasn't sick," his mother said. "I'm hurting so bad right now and so is his dad and brothers. Our whole family is hurting and it feels like we failed him because we did what we had to do."
Lakers’ LeBron James Out Against Thunder With Flu-Like Symptoms: Report
Kuzma will have to hold it down.
The Los Angeles Lakers may be the number one team in the Western Conference, but that may all come to a halt this week. The Lakers are facing a ton of injuries, and now, their superstar LeBron James will miss a game as well. According to ESPN, James will sit out of the Lakers’ matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The legendary baller has come down with flu-like symptoms. Danny Green will also miss the game because of a sore right hip. The 35-year-old James has only missed one game this season, in which the Lakers lost.
Anthony Davis, the Lakers’ other superstar, missed Friday’s win in Dallas because of a bruised buttocks injury he suffered earlier in the week versus the New York Knicks. He is considered questionable for the OKC game. Avery Bradley, who played through an illness against the Mavericks, is listed as probable. With so many starters listed as questionable or out, this is Kyle Kuzma’s chance to shine. His play has been inconsistent since returning from an injury this season; he is averaging 12.4 points a game, 3.7 rebounds, and .9 assists. Other role players such as Rajon Rondo, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Alex Caruso, and Dwight Howard will need to step up.
