50 Cent has climbed his way from multi-platinum selling rapper to Hollywood executive. Over the past few years, he's established himself as a producer with Power and now, For Life. The latter is based on the life of Isaac Wright Jr. who overturned a wrongful conviction after he was sentenced to life under New Jersey's drug kingpin laws.

Power became an immediate hit that helped Fif land four spin-offs. Though those have been put on hold for the time being because of the COVID-19 pandemic, For Life is still airing on ABC and it's received praise across the board, including from those that may have previously doubted Fif. The rapper and exec hit Instagram earlier today where he spoke about Greg Braxton of the L.A. Times' recent review of For Life. The tone of the post, however, had sprinkles of Trump throughout it.
"Greg braxton of los Angeles times gave me a fucked up review for power. i didn’t understand his opinion, but i took note of him because i thought he might just be someone deciding to go against me. Now he is giving me great reviews on FOR LIFE I will win over anyone who doubts me let’s go," he captioned the post.
For some reason, the post kind of reads like a Trump tweet. Perhaps it was intentional. Maybe it wasn't. But clearly, Fif's keeping tabs on his doubters.
50 Cent Isn’t Offended By Meek Mill & French Montana’s Snitch Accusations
50 Cent has faced snitch accusations for years. He recently denied the allegations once again while also saying Meek Mill and French Montana’s insults didn’t faze him.
He’s been speaking about his new ABC litigation series For Life while on his intense promotion run recently, and during a recent sit-down with Cigar Talk, 50 Cent addressed reported false allegations against him. For years, Fif has been on the receiving end of accusations that he’s a government informant who snitched on Jimmy Henchman. There was alleged documentation floating around, but TMZ issued a report stating that their law enforcement sources confirmed that it was fake paperwork.

Fif has adamantly denied that he’s even snitched on anyone, and he once again defended his honor on Cigar Talk. He spoke about the late 1980s and early 1990s as a time when street code was firm. “That’s the era where n*ggas get knocked and they just go, ‘Give me my time. I don’t give a f*ck what you talkin’ ’bout,'” Fif said. “They ain’t tellin’ on nobody, ’cause if you tellin’, you can’t even look forward to going home. Where you going after you get out? The neighborhood ain’t accepting that. ‘B*tch ass n*gga, we heard you a rat.'”
Yet, there are also times when people are pegged to be informants when they truly aren’t. “They say these things when they want to tell—even for me personally, they tried to attack my character. They say, ‘He a rat, or he this and that,’” 50 Cent continued. “All you gotta do is ask them who I told on. I ain’t never told on no n*gga in my life. In the Preme [Kenneth McGriff] situation, it’ll tell you who told on him. My name ain’t in that case, but they talking ’bout that I needed an order of protection. Why it feels like I’m the bully out here, then?… You needed protection, n*gga. And your protection gone. That’s the truth.”
50 Cent said that when there are beefs or “disputes with younger artists” they don’t know what ammunition to use against him, so they take from what they’ve heard and run with it. “You heard it when Meek [Mill] was talkin’ sh*t and you heard it with French [Montana]. I don’t take offense to it when they doin’ it, because I know what they doin’. I take offense to where it started. You never see—let Jimmy Henchman tell you I’m a snitch… Jimmy been snitchin’ since 1942.” Watch his full interview with Cigar Talk below.
50 Cent Trolls Taraji P. Henson After ABC’s "For Life" Premiere
The launch of the 50 Cent-produced ABC series “For Life” prompts taunts towards “Empire” star Taraji P. Henson.
50 Cent‘s newly-launched ABC series For Life has the show’s executive producer reaching out to Empire’s Taraji P. Henson following the show’s debut. According to Nielson Social Content Ratings, For Life had a record-breaking debut this week. 50 Cent shared a text message exchange revealing his show was the “#1 most social series premiere of any primetime entertainment program on broadcast or cable so far this season.” As Fif’s success in the TV industry continues, he took this very moment to let Taraji know that he’s trying to work with her. “alright, alright, alright. see tell @tarajiphenson i want to work with her LOL,” 50 Cent wrote.
Fif and Taraji had a bit of a back-and-forth last month after the TV exec. and rapper took a few shots at her by comparing a picture of her to Cookie Jackson. Taraji clearly took offense to it, along with 50 Cent’s general beef with Empire since he looks at the show as competition but that didn’t stop the trolling. With 50 Cent’s ever-expanding resume as a TV executive, he trolled Taraji P. Henson even further when he revealed that he just sold FOX a show that would be replacing Empire.
Following the death of Kobe Bryant, 50 Cent that he’d be focusing on himself and his work, vowing that he is “not arguing with anyone anymore.” Clearly, that promise was short-lived.
50 Cent Walks Out Of Interview Over Alleged French Montana Fight Question
He wasn’t having it.
Power solidified 50 Cent‘s reputation as an executive producer in Hollywood for naysayers who questioned his expansion into television. Now, the media mogul is back with another series, For Life, that’s set to premiere on ABC on February 11. The Queens rapper caught up with Complex News to talk about his latest series, but that wasn’t the only highlight of their brief conversation.

He spoke on his good friend Eminem and called the Music To Be Murdered By emcee a “lab rat” who stays in the studio. “Even when they’re not paying attention he’s recording a new record,” Fif said. “Making a new album and [another]. It’s always been that way. It’s not like there’s an interest in—if there’s an interest in film and television, I don’t really see it.” Fif revealed that he approached Em and told him that there was eight million dollars on the table for a film about the two of them being rival gang members, but he turned it down. “He’s not one of those people who’s gonna move on money.”
At the conclusion of the interview, things became awkward when Fif was asked about his ongoing internet beef with French Montana. “I don’t really have interest in it,” he said calmly. “There’s not much going on.” Fif was then asked if there was any truth to the internet rumors that he recently assaulted Montana in Miami.
“No, there’s no truth to that,” the rapper said. “Would I do a thing like that?” When the interviewer said that he “would put it past” him, it gave Fif room to shut down the interview in a playful-yet-serious manner. “Why would you think that way? Would you think that Will Smith would do that?” he asked as he took his microphone off.
“I can’t believe you would say these things about me,” Fif continued. “Peace my brother. Do not allow my inner peace to disturb your inner demon.” Check out what 50 Cent had to say about his new show, being a fan of Roddy Ricch, his legacy, and more below.
