These days, advertisers aren't in the market to play games with their brand's image. Should a client proceed to step onto the wrong side of history, many companies have reasoned that it's become safer to drop first and ask questions later. It's a reality that Fox News host Tucker Carlson has come to understand first-hand time and time again, in this instance following his recent crusade against Black Lives Matter.

By now it's no secret that Carlson holds no love for the organization, nor the goals they seek to achieve. In recent episodes of his admittedly popular Fox News shows, Carlson has made disparaging comments against Black Lives Matter, going so far as to aim his sights on Sesame Streets -- focused political ire aimed at a gaggle of muppets.
Seeing as we're in the midst of what feels like a systemic revolution, thanks in large part to protests against police brutality and anti-Black racism, many companies have opted to offer their support to the movement. As Tucker Carlson has maintained a firm stance against BLM and everything they stand for, several of his advertisers have recently made the decision to cut ties with the Fox News Host. According to Deadline, Disney, T-Mobile, Papa Johns, Vari, and SmileDirectClub are five of the latest to walk away from FOX News.
On the topic of Disney, the mega-corporation claimed that its ads were mistakenly run on FOX due to a third-party error. T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert took to Twitter to maintain that his values did not align with the controversial host, and put it rather succinctly with a "bye bye Tucker Carlson!" Papa Johns issued a similar statement, writing " Placement of advertising is not intended to be an endorsement of any specific programming or commentary. We have decided to suspend all resources allocated against opinion-based programming."
As of now, Fox News has yet to comment on the mass exodus of advertisers. One has to wonder if Tucker Carlson has a stern talking to in his future.
Joe Buck Claims Couples Want Him To Narrate Their Sex Tapes
Joe Buck has been doing play-by-play for home videos as a way to contribute to various charities.
Joe Buck is known as one of the most seasoned play-by-play broadcasters in the entire world and is mostly known for his work on Fox doing both football and baseball. Without any sports on TV, Buck has been left to his own devices at home and just like the rest of us, he is starting to get extremely bored. Buck has decided to cure this boredom with a good cause. Essentially, he has been taking home video submissions from people. From there, he picks the ones he likes and does play-by-play over them. The individuals who get their videos chosen must then submit to a charity of their choice.
During a recent radio interview, Buck revealed that some people have started sending him sex tapes with the intention of him doing some narration. Of course, Buck isn't really up for it but perhaps when he's older, he will reconsider.
"I've had a couple of submissions from let's say, a man and a woman, that just didn't seem appropriate to put my voice to in this stage of my life," Buck said. "Maybe later in life, but not now."
Despite the sex tape submissions, it's clear that Buck's work is making a difference and we really love the initiative he has shown. Hopefully, for his sake, the sex tapes will stop rolling in.
PETA’s Colin Kaepernick-Inspired Ad Gets Shut Down For Super Bowl: Report
PETA claims the NFL is pressuring FOX in not airing their Kaepernick-themed ad.
So PETA, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, has a commercial they’re wanting to air on Super Bowl Sunday that portrays some animated animals taking a knee during the National Anthem to protest injustice, but apparently the Colin Kaepernick-vibes are too controversial to get the network’s approval.
According to TMZ, PETA wanted to make a commercial calling for an end to speciesism. To “challenge people to expand their concept of injustice to include humans’ injustice against other species.” In other words, they want people to stop killing other living species, regardless of who they are.
PETA says everything was on track to be aired after they submitted the Colin Kaepernick-themed ad back in December, even hearing at the time that it was being looked over, but apparently they haven’t heard a word since then. They were reportedly told by their agents that the NFL was pressuring Fox to not air the ad.
PETA also says their claims to run the commercial in local markets, either before or after the Super Bowl, have also gone completely unanswered. A source close to the league says it’s ultimately up to the network carrying the game, not the NFL, to approve or reject all ads. However, PETA believes otherwise and knows the power & influence of the NFL.
Check out the controversial commercial (below) and let us know what you think. Too bad for FOX or should it be aired?
50 Cent Taunts Taraji P. Henson That T.I. Signed On To His Show Replacing "Empire"
50 Cent has never not gone all in on a beef.
Earlier today, 50 Cent responded to comments that Taraji P. Henson made about him on a recent episode of T.I.’s “expediTIously” podcast. Henson was discussing how a few years ago, Fifty tried to spark competition between the show he executive produces, Power, and the show she stars in, Empire. He called out Empire for stealing Power‘s marketing model and as is the case whenever something ticks off 50 Cent, he didn’t let it go very easily. Henson, on the other hand, thought the rivalry was totally uncalled for. “Our show has nothing to do with his show, we’re talking two different subject matters,” Henson told T.I. “Does he understand what I did to get here? Why tear down another black person for competition? There are a million other shows he can compete with? And to do that publically, it’s embarrassing.”
As one could have predicted, Fif’s reaction to this comment was not too pleasant. His message on Instagram appeared to be apologetic at first, but turned out to be pretty antagonistic. “I love your work and I think you are amazing,” he wrote. “I’m sorry no one is watching your show anymore. I realize I have to work on the fact that I have less empathy then others. I have met with the top executives at Fox and sold them(The Notorious Cop) It’s the show that is replacing yours.”
With some follow-up IG posts, Fifty has provided more details about his show that will supposedly steal Empire‘s shine. One particular detail that he shared may cause Henson some embarrassment – at least that seems to be his intention. T.I. is apparently involved with this forthcoming Fox series. “TIP Is already signed on, don’t fucking play wit me i’m out here,” Fifty captioned a photo of The Notorious Cop‘s book cover. So, 50 and Tip are teaming up to present the TV adaptation of “the inside story of the Tupac, Biggie, and Jam Master Jay Investigations from NYPD’s first ‘hip-hop’ cop.” 50 must think this news turns the tables on Henson, who complained to T.I. about 50 jacking the spotlight from another predominantly black production.
As if 50 hadn’t gone in on Henson enough for the day, he shared ANOTHER photo of her with former Empire co-star, Jussie Smollett. He penned another villainous caption: “i didn’t destroy your show it destroyed itself. i hope you accept my sincere apology, forever your fan and friend Fofty. ps i’m looking forward to working with you, or watching you watch me work.”
Seth MacFarlane Leaves Fox, Signs $200 Million Deal With NBC Universal
Seth MacFarlane is moving to NBC.
Seth MacFarlane signed a new deal with NBC Universal for five years and a total of $200 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"Seth’s voice resonates across multiple demographics and mediums. We all admire his ability to create audacious commentary with bold, yet relatable, humor and I look forward to working with him behind and in front of the camera,” said Bonnie Hammer, chairman of NBCUniversal Content Studios.
MacFarlane is best known for creating the hit show Family Guy and has previously worked with 20th Century Fox Television for over two decades.
“All of us at UCP are huge fans of Seth’s work in television and film," said UCP president Dawn Olmstead. "In my household, where the ages range from 11 to 52, Seth falls somewhere between an icon and a god. Whether it’s comedy, drama, science fiction, animation or musicals, his virtuoso knows no boundaries. This, combined with our shared desire to play in every sandbox that the industry has to offer, is why I believe we can be a great home for all of his creative pursuits. Plus, working with him just made me much cooler to my kids.”
With NBC Universal, MacFarlane will create and develop new TV projects for both cable TV and streaming.
"I am extremely honored to be partnering with Dawn Olmstead and the entire UCP team," MacFarlane said. "My relationship with Universal predates this new chapter, and if my experience producing television with UCP is anything like the experience I’ve had producing films with the company, it will be an exciting and creatively fulfilling one for me and for Fuzzy Door. I’m especially inspired by all of the opportunities that NBCUniversal Content Studios has to offer with George and Bonnie at the helm. I will remain indebted to my good friend Dana Walden and the team at 20th for their collaborative partnership over the years, and I look forward to our continued work together on Family Guy, American Dad and The Orville."

Colin Cowherd Reveals Where Tom Brady Should Play Next: Watch
This would upset some people.
Tom Brady is nearing the end of his career although he is adamant he still has three or more seasons left in the tank. Brady wants to play until he is at least 45 even though he hasn't been his normal, usual self in the pocket. His struggles have some people speculating that he won't be on the Patriots next season. Brady has played with the team for 20 years now and seeing him in another jersey would truly be bizarre. Regardless, many pundits have begun fantasizing about where he should go next.
Fox Sports 1 host Colin Cowherd is one of those pundits who is theorizing about Brady's next move. In the clip below, Cowherd attempts to explain why Brady should actually go to the Indianapolis Colts.
“Brady now is going to lose his offensive coordinator [Josh McDaniels],” Cowherd said. “He already lost Gronk, New England hasn’t addressed that, he’s struggling with young receivers… Think of what they [Indianapolis Colts] have for Tom Brady. When Peyton Manning was a free agent and he was old, and he’d been banged up, where did he go? To a team that had weapons, an offensive line and a structure he trusted.”
When Manning was in Indy, the Colts were the Patriots' biggest rival. If Brady were to go there, he would be betraying a large part of the Patriots fanbase. While a move to Indy would be unlikely, it would certainly make for a phenomenal story line.
Steve Harvey Reams Out Rob Gronkowski For Destroying His LEGO Bust In NYE Special
He was not please to see his LEGO self get spiked.
Steve Harvey reprised his role as the host of Fox's New Year's Eve special this year, and was joined by former New England Patriots tight end and cohost, Rob Gronkowski. Rob has been working as an NFL analyst for Fox during the first season since his retirement, and he and Steve seemed to be getting along pretty well as co-hosts during the network's New Year's Eve coverage. Things quickly took a turn for the worst for Steve when Rob decided to show off his athleticism. Twitter user Matthew McGovern, who identifies in his bio as a stan account for the Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray, posted a video of the ordeal with the caption, "Gronk is Steve Harvey's second least favorite person after P. Diddy," referring to Steve's daughter Lori's past relationship with Diddy that was preceded by her relationship with Diddy's son, Justin Combs. In the video, Rob can be seen rocking an old-school football uniform, complete with a number 87 jersey. It looks like his longing for his football days overcame him, as he demonstrates what he calls, "a LEGO Harvey Gronk spike," referring to his popular nickname.
He picked up the LEGO bust of Steve Harvey that was on display, and proceeded to smash the structure on the floor, imitating the act of spiking a football after a touchdown during a game. Steve remains stunned for a minute, too shocked to react to what he's witnessed. Rob is unfazed by Steve's dismay, kicking the LEGO pieces around and waving his hands up and down. Steve proceeds to blast him for his careless actions, yelling, "Are you serious? I don't want to work with him no more. Why is he here? Why are you here? What is wrong with you? You're mentally embarrassed. This nut right here done broken-- you know how hard it is to get them brown LEGOs? Just stupid."
Though Steve was likely not as upset as he would would have us believe from his onscreen reaction, some took to the replies of the tweet to express their outrage over Rob's bold move, calling it "cringey" and "annoying," and feeling sorry for whoever spent time building the LEGO bust to look like Steve. Others said it was "the funniest sh*t" and that "Steve Harvey kinda deserved it." What do you think?
