Though Ice Cube may have lulled the masses into a false state of security through his occasional family-friendly movies, affable nature, and sharp sense of humor, his roots as status-quo disrupting pot-stirrer must never be forgotten. Lest we forget, this is the very same man who wrote "Fuck The Police," a track that still carries weight and impact to this day. This is the same man who penned Amerikkka's Most Wanted back in 1991, a direct call out of the country's founding principles. Has Are We There Yet really left such an impact?

No matter. The days of a docile Ice Cube appear to have been brought to a swift and decisive end. A few days ago, Cube took to social media to let fly a barrage of posts rallying against systematic racism, anti-black behavior, and the American police system. Though some of his chosen stances did draw outrage, with some accusing the rapper of holding anti-semitic views, others appreciated Cube's return to the fight. And from the look of it, the legendary rapper isn't about to back down, proudly standing by his messages.
It didn't take long for Cube's onslaught to spark a mini-controversy, and while many were quick to voice outrage over his conduct, Royce Da 5'9" was content to sit back and watch it unfold with glee. No stranger to the fight against racism himself, Nickle took a moment to address the White people offended by Cube's Twitter spree. "Dear White People... Thank you for reactivating Ice Cube.... On behalf of the culture, we are extremely grateful," he writes, making it clear that he stands with the N.W.A. legend.
Conor McGregor Knocks Out Dana White In Hilarious Parody Video
Conor McGregor and Dana White have certainly had their differences over the years.
If you're a UFC fan, then you know just how much of a controversial figure Conor McGregor is. Of course, he has made quite the name for himself over the past decade thanks to his inspiring abilities in the Octagon. Unfortunately, some pretty horrendous antics along the way have made people lose a bit of respect for the Irishman. Regardless, McGregor continues to be a huge name in the sport, and on occasion, he can be seen arguing with UFC president Dana White.
These arguments have led to a pretty hilarious parody video that was recently shared by White on Twitter. As you can see in the clip below, McGregor is being chased by alligators in a swamp when all of a sudden, he emerges from the water and starts chasing people down. Near the end of the video, a fake McGregor knocks out a man on a scooter, who just so happens to have White's face superimposed over him.
The entire video is pretty funny and speaks to McGregor's unpredictable nature. You never know what might set him off and he is always letting his anger shine through.
More recently, McGregor has been jonesing for a fight with Justin Gaethje and it will be interesting to see if it goes anywhere. McGregor had a pretty threatening tone when it comes to the fight although Gaethje appears to be more concerned with Khabib.
Charlamagne Predicts A Bad End For Tekashi 6ix9ine
Charlamagne has long had strong opinions on Tekashi 6ix9ine. He famously said he'd perform oral sex on 6ix9ine if he beat his case. Whether CTG owes Tekashi top is up to some debate.
CTG is still predicting bad ends for Tekashi.
He explained what he thinks is going to happen in a discussion with Andrew Schulz.
"I'm not even entertaining it," CTG said about the 6ix9ine show. "I hate watching history repeat himself. Everybody should learn from their mistakes. You can't clearly like this person or be entertained by this person if you don't learn the first time ... if you don't learn from bumping your head, the next time you are going to get decapitated."
Schulz than asked Charlamagne if he's predicting "The King Of New York" will be assassinated.
"My prediction is the same predication as it was two years ago and I was right. You end up in jail or dead. And if you already went to jail and didn't learn from that, what is next? Y'all think that's funny, but I'm 41. That sh*t ain't funny to me. I don't like seeing self-destruction."
Schulz countered that the 6ix9ine show is hilarious.
"What's funny about a man having to move two times in four days," CTG countered.
Then CTG whipped out a JAY Z lyric to prove his point.
"The labeling of a snitch is a lifetime scar/You will always be in jail n*gga, minus the bars," Hov rapped on "A Week Ago."
Do you agree with CTG that Tekashi is not winning but losing?
Wiz Khalifa Names The Two Weakest Hip-Hop Smokers
During an interview with Big Boy TV, Wiz Khalifa takes a moment to reveal some of hip-hop’s weakest lungs.
Though many rappers have developed a reputation for having iron-lungs, Wiz Khalifa has set himself apart as a truly prodigious weed smoker. As such, his entire brand has become synonymous with bud, to the point where many of his hip-hop friends have grown wary of engaging in smoke-sessions with the Kush & OJ rapper. Even those who can generally hold their own have found themselves deeply outclassed, as Wiz himself revealed during a candid talk with Big Boy TV.

When asked to point out rappers who simply can’t hang in the bud smoking department, Wiz wastes little time in calling out names. “Big Sean,” he says, before taking a moment to ponder further. “French Montana. I’m stoned so I can’t think of anyone.” Big Boy also asks who wouldn’t get the passed the blunt during the pandemic, to which Wiz replies “anybody who wasn’t in the house for at least an entire month. If you haven’t been quarantining for a month, you ain’t getting no weed. Matter of fact, nobody actually.”
Big Boy also asks Wiz if he would take coronavirus immunity in exchange for six-months without weed — for him, it’s the easier answer so far. “I’m already pretty confident in my chances,” says Wiz. “So nah, I ain’t giving away my pot for that.” Last but not least, Wiz ranks B-Real as the gold-tier weed-smoker, Snoop Dogg as the silver-tier, and himself as the bronze-tier. Be sure to check out Wiz’s speed-round of marijuana-related answers at approximately sixteen-minutes into the video.
Boosie Claims His Lawyer Will Make DaBaby Unstoppable
Boosie Badazz warns the game that DaBaby is about to run the courtrooms, turning his legal trouble into a thing of the past.
Boosie Badazz is arguably hip-hop’s most outlandish characters, as unapologetic as he is unabashedly himself. As such, his frank demeanor and amusing vernacular have left us hanging on every word, for better or worse. Following no shortage of Instagram-related antics, Boosie took a moment to chop it up with his old pal DJ Vlad, opening up about a few choice topics — including a shared legal connection between himself and DaBaby, who has experienced his own legal woes in recent months.

Luckily, Boosie seems confident that DaBaby’s luck is about to change. First, he mentions that the pair have an upcoming single called “Period” that’s set to appear on Boosie’s upcoming Goat Talk 3 project whenever the track gets cleared. “Baby was going through a lot of shit trying to get to the top,” reflects Boosie. “Still going through it to this day. But he got my lawyer now, so ya’ll muthafuckas in trouble!” He laughs. “He got my lawyer now.”
While things seem to have cooled down on the legal front, DaBaby originally kicked off 2020 on a rocky note — at the beginning of January, police proceeded to arrest the Blame It On Baby rapper over the alleged assault and robbery of a concert promoter. Following that occurrence, Boosie responded with fire and brimstone, taking his unfiltered frustration out on the concert promoter. For all we know, it was this incident that ultimately led Boosie to hook DaBaby up with his lawyer in the first place — check out the conversation below, courtesy of Vlad TV.
Ice Cube Reacts To 25 Years Of "Friday"
Ice Cube reflects on the twenty-fifth anniversary of Friday, inadvertently raising philosophical questions about mortality in the process.
It’s a common misconception, one peddled rather furiously by Madonna of all people, that time goes by so slowly. In reality, the passage of time is but one of life’s mysterious blink-and-you-missed-it events. Before long, your hairs are graying. Three drinks can lead to a hangover of epic proportions. Friday, Ice Cube‘s classic comedy and part of the reason Deebo remains one of hip-hop’s most referenced antagonists, turns twenty-five. Where does the time go, we’re left to wonder.
David Becker/Getty Images
Cube himself pondered that very conundrum on his Instagram page mere hours ago. “Daaaamn,” he writes, elongating his curse to symbolize the passage of years gone by. “25 years went fast.” And to further emphasize his point, an iconic clip from the film itself, one depicting a youthful Ice Cube and a youthful Chris Tucker deeply in character. While it’s not technically the official anniversary date, as “Friday” was originally released on April 26th, 1995, it should be noted that today is, in fact, Friday. And thus, is it not all the more appropriate?
Surely we could all use a little cheering up, what with a pandemic threatening the very fabric of our society. What better way to do so than to reflect on a hilarious and enduring piece of cinema while pondering the fragile nature of our own mortality. Bye Felicia, it was said; so too, as we shuffle off this mortal coil, do we all inevitably become Felicia.
"The Mandalorian" 4/20 Trailer Leaves "Star Wars" Fans Fuming
It’s not every day that you see Yoda smoking on that Yoda, but that’s exactly what this “Mandalorian” trailer seems to be getting at.
While April Fool’s Day was a relatively somber experience this year, leave it to 4/20 to provide a healthy dose of unfiltered and THC-fueled antics. It would appear the good folks over at IGN were particularly inspired, taking it upon themselves to fire off a playful prank destined to rankle the feathers of die-hard Star Wars fans. The gaming website decided to craft a trailer for Disney Plus’ wildly popular Mandalorian Season 2, masking it as the real deal and quickly amassing a healthy two-million views.
Clemens Bilan/Getty Images
The opening scenes were innocuous enough, striking a somber tone that seemingly centered around the threat of losing the beloved sidekick “Baby Yoda”. Before long, Mandalorian was grappling with the idea of casting his young friend aside, only to be met with the big reveal. Cut to a teenage “Baby Yoda”, smoking on some space-weed, staring defiantly at his father figure with a freshly flipped bird. Alas, it was all a joke — albeit one packaged rather ably as the real deal.
As such, the clip left many Star Wars fans feeling a simultaneous blend of shame and anger, the likes of which were felt by the notorious Anakin Skywalker himself — moments before going on a murderous rampage. One quick gander through the YouTube comments makes it abundantly clear that the masses were not amused by the attempt at a post-dated April Fool’s joke, a fact doubly confirmed by the staggering amount of dislikes. Check it out for yourself, and sound off — did you find yourself, quite possibly high as Teenage “Yoda” himself, duped by this elaborate ruse?
Seth Rogen Has Been Quarantining With An "Ungodly" Weed Stash
During the ongoing coronavirus lockdown, Seth Rogen abides by the Nate Dogg school of thought, which is to say, smoking weed every day.
Anybody familiar with the legendary Seth Rogen, widely considered a Canadian National treasure at this point, knows that the man consumes weed like the rest of us consume water. It’s easy to assume he’s high twenty-four hours of the day, especially given that the world has been on a self-imposed lockdown for the past month or so — a month that happens to include thirty-days of four-twenty, at that. As Rogen explained during his recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s “Live From His House” segment, the isolation period actually hasn’t been quite so bad…for obvious reasons.

“We are not all in this together, because this has not been that bad for me,” Rogen explained, donning an Alanis Morissette sweater for the occasion. “I’ll be totally honest. This has been fine. I am built for this. I’ve kinda been self-isolating since 2009.” When Kimmel inquires as to how he’s been passing the time, Rogen reveals that he’s been smoking “a truly ungodly amount of weed. More than normal. Thank God it’s been declared an essential service. For me it’s essential. I don’t think I’ve ever willed a law into existence more than that one.”
“The fact I have no kids is making this a truly not that bad experience,” he admits, uttering his iconic laugh. “I will be lying alone on my death bed after not having talked to anybody for fifteen years, and I’ll be like ‘it was worth it for that coronavirus shit.’ Me and my wife had a lovely time.” Rogen also confirms that his parents have been safe in Canada, which he describes as a “slightly better functioning country at the moment.” “That’s their slogan, actually,” quips Kimmel.

Gucci Mane Flirts With Returning To His Old Ways
Gucci Mane invites fans to vote on which side of him they prefer: the dangerous “old” or the happy “new.”
It’s not often that a man can be divided so easily into two distinctive halves, yet Gucci Mane seems to have embraced the duality of both “Old” and “New” Guwop. And while he’s been largely enjoying life as the latter, which is to say, rich, married, and eternally optimistic, every so often he takes a trip back down memory lane and gives in to the temptations of “Old Gucci.” For those unaware, “Old Gucci” qualities include being ruthless, merciless, and engaging in straight-up sinister behavior. Like wishing his haters would die of coronavirus, for example.

Naturally, “New Gucci” seems to be the preferred state at the moment, given that “Old Gucci” ultimately found himself spiraling into the hard time that led to the transformation in the first place. Yet for whatever reason, Guwop decided to offer his fans and followers a poll of sorts, featuring two choices — “Old Gucci” or “New Gucci.” For the record, the latter seems to be his own preference, given his inclusion of the “better life” caveat.
To no surprise, Mrs. Gucci herself, Keyshia Ka’oir, offered her own take in the comments: “Hmmmmm I say the new GUCCI! Old GUCCI too dangerous.” And while it’s unlikely Guwop would ever relapse to his former state, it’s becoming increasingly clear that every so often he misses the good old days; who doesn’t love the occasional jaunt down memory lane? Check out the highly self-aware question below, and sound off with your own takes in the comment section — which Gucci is your favorite?
DaBaby Launches Hilarious "Blame It On Baby" Informercial
DaBaby gears up to release his new album “Blame It On Baby” with an accompanying infomercial, one that’s sure to draw a chuckle.
Yesterday, DaBaby surprised the masses by revealing his new album Blame It On Baby would be arriving this Friday, his first since Kirk dropped last September. With the lead single “Find My Way” already striking a promising chord, many are anticipating a major step forward from the rising star, who has already elbowed his way to the front of the line through a heavy dose of skill and character. On that note, DaBaby has officially kicked off his promotional campaign in style, coming through with a hilarious infomercial reminding everyone why he’s among the game’s best comedic voices.

Unfortunately, his mischievous nature has left many people feeling wronged — luckily there’s officially a service for that exact problem, the Blame It On Baby service. Unveiled by way of a delightful informercial, DaBaby’s latest entrepreneurial endeavor finds him taking responsibility to everyone his actions have directly, or far more likely inadvertently wronged. If his music led your significant other to dump you, blame it on Baby. If it led to your parents getting divorced, blame it on Baby. Hell, if he’s the reason you’re drinking on the job, you already know what to do.
Check out the full infomercial below, and who knows — perhaps you’ll find yourself remembering your own experience being wronged by the North Carolina rapper.
