While Chrissy Teigen may be in the midst of recovering from her recent surgery, in which she had her breast implants removed after almost 15 years, the hilarious post-op cards from her kids sure made the recovery process a little easier. On Thursday (June 11th), the former model revealed that she had undergone the surgery, which she had announced she would be doing a few weeks ago. “Surgery went perfectly!” Chrissy wrote on an Instagram post. “So so so so so sore but waking up to this made it go away for half a minute at least.” In the photos, Chrissy shows the home-made cards from her 4-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son.
“Have fun pulling your boobies out,” read one card, which was signed by Luna. The other read, “Bye Boobies,” along with a mermaid sticker. Chrissy broke the news back in May that she would be removing her breast implants, after folks began questioning why she was receiving a COVID-19 test.
“Hi hi! So I posted myself getting a covid test on the twitter, as I’m getting surgery soon. A lot of people are understandably curious (and nosey!) so I’ll just say it here: I’m getting my boobs out!” Chrissy wrote on a topless photo of herself, her nipples covered by hearts. “They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it. I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie! So don’t worry about me! All good. I’ll still have boobs, they’ll just be pure fat. Which is all a tit is in the first place. A dumb, miraculous bag of fat.”

Chrissy initially got the implants back when she was just 20 years old. “It was more for a swimsuit thing,” Chrissy, who made her modelling debut in the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, told Glamour UK back in March. “I thought if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed. I had a quarter ‘teardrop’ cup in the bottom and filled out the breast line. But I want them out now.” Looks like you finally got your wish, Chrissy.
