The Coronavirus pandemic is really f*ckin' up the money right now. As health officials continue to urge everyone to practice social distancing, festivals, tours, concerts, and performances, in general, are getting canceled to prevent further spread of Coronavirus. That being said, Swae Lee found a clever way around this, though it's more for the benefit of his fans.
Swae Lee put on a show last night for his fans, even though everyone is in quarantine. The rapper hit Instagram Live where he performed a slew of hits while maintaining the same energy you'd expect from him. Self-isolated in a studio, the rapper thanked the "sold out" audience that he was performing for while also "bringing a fan on stage" and crowd surfing.
Though it's safe to say that Swae Lee does have a lot of things to keep him preoccupied during the lockdown, he's clearly missing the stage right now. Many concerts and performances have been canceled or postponed in recent times but ahead of the outbreak, Swae Lee was on tour with Post Malone which has since been canceled. Today was actually supposed to be the final date of the tour while Swae was expected to perform at Coachella next month. The annual festival in California has been postponed until the fall.
Peep clips from Swae's IG performance below.
Drake Tells His Dad He Tests Negative For COVID-19 On Instagram Live
Drake worried fans after he spent time with Kevin Durant, who tested positive for COVID-19, but the rapper shared that he’s all clear.
Instagram Live is the place to be these days. People are coming up with creative ways to stay social while still social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic, and it seems as if celebrities are utilizing social media even more than usual. Artists are spending more time chatting with fans or even holding solo concerts in the comforts of their own homes on live streams. On Friday (March 20), Drake followed suit and popped up on Instagram Live as he chatted with his father, Dennis Graham, on a split-screen.

During their exchange, Drake revealed that he’d taken the COVID-19 test. “You know I had to to a test the other day,” Drizzy shared with his dad. “Yeah, I had to do a test. It came back negative, though. But yo, that test is uncomfortable. They put that Q-Tip all the way inside your thoughts,” Drake said of the invasive nasal test.
Following the news that NBA star Kevin Durant tested positive for COVID-19, many feared that Drake contracted the virus after spending time with Durant just six days prior. Thankfully, that’s not the case. Watch a clip of Drake sharing the good news with his father below.
Tina Knowles Gives Classy Clap Back To Troll Who Told Her To "Disappear" With Beyoncé
Tina Knowles was just minding her business and telling jokes on Instagram when a troll attempted to rain on her parade.
Of all the accomplishments Ms. Tina Knowles is known for throughout her longstanding career, her social media followers love her for those corny mom jokes. Beyoncé and Solange’s mother likes to take to social media ever so often and deliver chuckle-worthy-yet-eye-rolling jokes for her followers, but because the internet is what it is, she can’t avoid people who decide to hop online to spew a few nasty remarks.

“Did you hear about the corduroy pillows?” Tina asked in her video before giving the joke’s punchline. “Yeah, they’re making headlines! Headlines on your head when you lay on it.” You know, because no joke I complete without an immediate explanation. While Tina Knowles thought her line was funny, an Instagram user thought this would be the perfect time to put Tina in check.
“Girl, take them bangs and disappear with your daughter and grandchildren for a little while,” the woman commented. “We don’t need this right now.” Tina took a few quarantined moments to reply. “First of all i am not a girl . So try to conjure up a little respect and secondly if you don’t need it then get off my page and go where you like what you see,” Tina stated. She ended things by writing, “With love.” Check out Tina Knowles giving her classy clap back below.
Deelishis Asks For Prayers After Her Father Was Diagnosed With COVID-19
Deelishis & her fiancé Raymond Santana shared the news on Friday (March 20) in two separate Instagram posts.
As the days roll on, more people are coming forward to share their COVID-19 test results. Many parts of the world are under quarantine as we all practice social distancing in an effort to not spread coronavirus, but as interactions of some sort are unavoidable for most people, confirmed cases continue. Former Flavor of Love reality star Deelishis shared upsetting news with her followers on Friday (March 20) when she revealed that her father just learned that he contracted coronavirus.
“Please pray for my favorite guy, my Dad,” Deelishis wrote on Instagram in a caption of a photo of her parents. “With Gods blessing we will beat this ?? #TakeTheNecessaryStepsToPreventAndStopTheSpreadOfCovid19.” Her fiancé, Raymond Santana of the Exonerated 5, echoed her sentiments when he shared a photo of her over on his social media page. “My heartbeat ? Please pray for my wife’s father who was diagnosed today with the #Covid19 virus ??,” Raymond wrote of his future father-in-law on Instagram. “This disease has put more things in perspective than we ever imagined. #LifeIsPrecious #GodIsMercifulAndGood.”
As many hospitals and emergency centers are overrun with the ill, testing isn’t as widely available as many would hope. The Everlywell company, which gained popularity through its home testing kits for allergens, recently announced that they’d developed at-home COVID-19 tests. The kits will reportedly be made available on March 23.

A Boogie wit da Hoodie paid homage to the late King of Pop by recreating a shot from Michael Jackson’s infamous L.A. Gear license plate photo shoot.
A Boogie wit da Hoodie is the mirror image of Michael Jackson in his latest Instagram post, in which the rapper recreated a shot from the King of Pop’s infamous L.A. Gear campaign. A Boogie did his best impression of the late musical icon, sporting a similar leather jacket and white T-Shirt, and nearly identical pair of ripped jeans and sneakers as MJ’s. He also stood in front of a strikingly similar wall of license plates, and to complete the imitation, he even posed the same way. Boogie made sure to put their photos side-by-side for quick comparison, and the results are pretty impressive.
He shared the photographic tribute on his Instagram, adding three black hearts in the caption. It’s no secret that A Boogie is a fan of MJ’s. Back in 2018, he managed to get a sample of Michael’s 2001 hit “You Rock My World,” cleared for his own song, “Look Back At It.” On the track, A Boogie imitates MJ’s signature scatting before interpolating the melody of “You Rock My World.” It looks like he’s still a huge fan, and he’s not the only modern day artist who’s been inspired by the King of Pop. Breakout star Roddy Ricch recently revealed that the iconic “EE ER” sound effect on his #1 hit single, “The Box,” was actually inspired by Michael Jackson.
G Herbo Reacts To Kevin Durant’s Coronavirus Diagnosis
G Herbo is shook that Kevin Durant (and several other NBA players) tested positive for COVID-19.
Rightfully so, everybody is freaking out right now. If there is one thing that most of us are afraid of, it’s the unknown. Right now, everything is uncertain and it’s pretty unsettling. It would be a safe bet to assume that the National Basketball Association will cancel the rest of the season after a number of players tested positive for the novel coronavirus. As of now, players from the Utah Jazz, Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, and Boston Celtics have confirmed multiple cases. Chicago rapper G Herbo is an avid basketball fan, and he’s torn about the news. He reacted on social media.
“WHEN I HEARD KD HAD CORONA VIRUS,” wrote G Herbo on Instagram, sharing a video of himself hilariously belting out “no, no, no, no, no!” from a classic R&B record. ” @nba YALL BETTER GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS SHIT ASAP‼️”
In a second post, the former Lil Herb asks why only NBA players are being infected with the virus. Of course, there have been thousands upon thousands of confirmed cases but the media — and specifically the media that G Herbo has chosen to consume — is focusing on athletes.
Thankfully, in times like this, we have social media to keep us in semi-good spirits. G Herbo’s response to Kevin Durant‘s positive test is pretty hilarious and will likely put a smile on your face. If you need some help today, check it out below.
Travis Scott Flexes Production Skills & Teases New Music
Travis Scott is sharpening his production skills during the coronavirus-imposed lockdown.
With so much uncertainty in our world right now, we look to one of the things that have always remained constant for us: music. People are spending their quarantine hours differently. Some of us are unpacking that new The Weeknd album carefully. Others are running head-on into large towers of Jenga blocks (shout out to Cardi B). And others are using their free time wisely, being productive and perfecting their trade.
Travis Scott can be counted among that final group. The rapper is well-known for his work with producer Mike Dean, but he’s also got skills behind the board too. The H-Town artist took to Instagram to show us all how he’s been dealing with all this extra time and it turns out he’s being pretty advantageous, boosting his production skills and showing off what he can do.

Before he blew up as an artist, it wasn’t uncommon to see Travis’ name in the producer credits for other rappers. Nowadays, he’s focusing more on his own material, but he’s taking this opportunity to revisit his roots.
Are you hoping Travis produces more on his next album?
Stefon Diggs Issues Lengthy Message To Vikings Fans After Trade
Stefon Diggs had to say one final goodbye to the fans of the Minnesota Vikings.
Stefon Diggs is one of the best wide receivers in the entire NFL and for the last few years, Minnesota Vikings fans have been blessed by his presence. Over the past little while, it had become apparent that Diggs was beginning to grow upset with the team and this past week, he was traded to the Buffalo Bills. The move upset Vikings fans while Bills fans were absolutely elated. Of course, Diggs’ beef was never with the fanbase and he needed to let them know that.
Earlier today, Diggs took to his Instagram account where he penned a lengthy and heartfelt message to Vikings fans. Diggs had many people to thank and based on the tone of his message, he is leaving on good terms. If you’re a Vikings fan, this post certainly softens the blow.
Per Diggs:
“Skol Nation just know that I gave all my heart, soul and body every time I stepped on the field. Your chants, cheers and unyielding support was everything to me. Thank you! The past five years were truly an amazing experience. To say we made memories would be a huge understatement. The state of Minnesota and the entire Vikings organization will always hold a special place in my heart because it is where my NFL story began. To the entire Wilf family, I’d like to thank you, again, for believing enough in me to draft me. To my coaches and personnel staff, thank you for everything. I’ve learned so much from each of you about the game I love. To my teammates- -my brothers, thanks for the unending support. I’ll always have your backs!! Much Love Skol Nation!!!”
With Diggs on the Bills, it will be interesting to see how he performs with Josh Allen who is arguably a lesser quarterback than Kirk Cousins. Regardless, the 2020 NFL season is going to be a lot of fun.
Playboi Carti’s Puzzling Response To Fan Says Little About "Whole Lotta Red"
The anticipation surrounding “Whole Lotta Red” is real but Playboi Carti isn’t letting out any secrets.
As the majority of people stay in their homes in the midst of the Coronavirus madness, one thing that we can all be certain about is that we’re about to be running up these streaming services. Though the music industry has been hit heavily with the effects of the Rona, it also seems like a good time for artists to release new music seeing as more people are just chillin’ at home. That being said, it would be fantastic if Playboi Carti released Whole Lotta Red.
“Carti listen you have disappointed us many times with this album release and we still worship you,” a fan wrote Playboi Carti in the comment section of the rapper’s return-to-IG post. “We are in fucking quarantine rn. Plz bless us,” the fan pleaded.
Though there’s no clear sign if Whole Lotta Red will see the light day anytime soon but the good sign is that Carti is back on Instagram. Not only that, but he replied to the fan with a Lil B-esque response.
“i never left. hey. stay wit meh. I o you da world n i kno it. I love u n everyone. N my universe <3,” he replied back. It’s unclear what that means exactly but hey, on the brightside, atleast Playboi Carti still loves us.
Check out Playboi Carti’s response below.
