Lil Baby is special. That much is clear. The 25-year-old has the potential to become one of the biggest rap artists ever, beginning a potential monster run with this year's My Turn. The album is expected to hit #1 on the Billboard 200 again after initially debuting there. This week, the Atlanta superstar released his new single "The Bigger Picture," which is being praised by just about everybody who gives it a spin.
Detailing everything that has gone on in the last several weeks, Lil Baby speaks to the people as only he can, delivering conscious rap and sticking true to his brand.
The song has people wishing that the rapper gets his flowers this year with some of his most popular peers publicly stating their admiration for his art.
"Just give lil baby a Grammy this year already," said Tory Lanez on Twitter, earning 18,000 retweets from fans who agree with the statement.
Meek Mill went one step further and referred to Baby as a legend in the making.
"Lil Baby going legend right in front of our eyes," he wrote. Meek's post got over 33,000 retweets.
With My Turn continuously pulling in numbers and the Atlanta star becoming more consistent by the day, it's time to celebrate Lil Baby for what he is: one of the best in the game and a future Hall of Famer.
21 Savage Holds His Grammy Like A Menace In This Picture
Have you ever seen somebody carry their Grammy Award as carelessly as 21 Savage?
Everybody has been getting their engraved Grammy Awards in the mail, including Cardi B and Roddy Ricch. Both rappers showed off their prized possessions, cherishing their awards with the utmost care. 21 Savage, on the other hand, is doing shit like this.
Clearly, the Atlanta rapper isn’t really bothered about the upkeep of his new award because, well, he’s treating it just like a child would with their new pick-up from Toys”R”Us.
Savage posted a picture outside, showing off his physique (which has people begging the rapper to get back in the gym) and carrying his Grammy Award in the strangest manner. Instead of lightly holding it from its base, 21 Savage keeps the gold gramophone tucked between his fingers, almost as if he were holding some brass knuckles. Seriously, we’ve never seen anybody carry a Grammy quite like this.
At this rate, he’s going to have to pass over it with a wipe every hour with all the fingerprints that will smudge up its beauty.
21 Savage has recently been in the studio, working on Savage Mode 2 with Metro Boomin. The project is reportedly nearly complete, with Metro Boomin addressing fans and claiming that his rapper buddy is basically holed up in the stu.

Dave Chappelle Reveals Suprising Kobe Bryant Story In New Special
Dave Chappelle recounted how Kobe Bryant's death affected him, during his new special.
Dave Chappelle recently released his brand new Netflix special called "8:46" and it is filled with some hilarious bits and some personal anecdotes. Perhaps one of the more somber moments in the special is when Chappelle begins talking about Kobe Bryant who passed away earlier this year. In fact, there were some staggering coincidences when it came to Chappelle's relationship to Kobe that it made him not want to go to the Grammy's.
For those who don't know, Chappelle won a Grammy for one of his comedy specials this year. Kobe died on the same day as the awards show and because Chappelle was so close with the Lakers star, he simply didn't feel right going. Not to mention, Bryant's jersey numbers are 8 and 24, and they were already hanging in the rafters at the Staples Center. Chappelle was born on August 24th so the numbers hit home for him.
“I loved Kobe Bryant. He died the day I won a Grammy. That was why I didn’t show up at the Grammy’s, because Kobe died,” Chappelle said. “They had both of his f***ing jersey numbers hanging up — 8 and 24 — well, that’s my birthday. I cried like a baby.”
Chappelle's story is both compelling and extremely sad considering the circumstances. It seems like everyone who knew Kobe had their own stories about him and Chappelle was no different.
Cardi B Claps Back At Haters After Roddy Ricch Receives Grammy
“Point ’em out, point ’em out.”
Though her Grammy win was undoubtedly a controversial one, it appears that people are still hung up on it over a year later. The rapper took home Rap Album Of The Year for Invasion Of Privacy but she only recently received it in the mail. In fact, it was a few days ago when she shared a photo of her award in the mail. She faced a serious amount of criticism from people who claimed that she was only doing it for attention.

Earlier today, Compton’s latest star received his first Grammy for his efforts on Nipsey Hussle‘s “Racks In The Middle.” The congratulations began pouring out on social media for the rapper, especially since he’s only getting into the game now. However, Cardi quickly pointed out on Twitter in a since-deleted tweet that all of the hater have gone missing all of a sudden. “Where the people that was saying I posted my Grammy couple days ago for attention?” She wrote. “Bet ya feel stupid now.”
She elaborated further in a separate tweet. “I was unboxing things on my story and I unboxed my Grammy. Motherfuckers where real loud claiming I was unboxing it for attention, trying to get shine,” she added. “Now Roddy just got his! Mind you I was just unboxing packages that came to my house.”

Roddy Ricch Thanks Nipsey Hussle After Receiving His Grammy Award
Roddy Ricch got his Grammy Award for “Racks In The Middle” in the mail this week, showing love to Nipsey Hussle on the ‘gram.
Roddy Ricch owes a lot to Nipsey Hussle. Early in the rising star’s career, the Los Angeles rapper was the only person to throw him a co-sign, inviting him onto “Racks In The Middle” and contributing to the star’s massive growth. Fast forward one year and Roddy Ricch is a Grammy winner and has the longest-running #1 single of the year with “The Box.”
Nipsey Hussle saw something in Roddy Ricch that nobody else did. He recognized his star potential and supported the Compton rapper until the very end. When he passed, Ricch got a face tattoo in his honor before being announced as a Grammy winner by his side. This week, he finally received his prize in the mail and it was a bittersweet moment for him.
“Thank u @nipseyhussle,” wrote Roddy Ricch on social media, showing off his brand new Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance on “Racks In The Middle.”
Everybody has been getting their awards in the mail this month, including Cardi B’s prize for Invasion Of Privacy.
Roddy Ricch is one of the few who took the opportunity to show off the hardware, proving that hard work pays off eventually.
Congratulations to Roddy on his win. The Marathon Continues.
Koffee Takes Over NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert Series With Great Pleasure
19-year-old Grammy award-winning reggae star Koffee holds it down for her first Tiny Desk performance.
NPR’s Tiny Desk series shows some of our favorites in an intimate lights. Freddie Gibbs, Megan Thee Stallion, Dave, and Burna Boy have paid visits in recent times. Artists who are typically seen performing on major stages post up in a small office, typically with a live band, and deliver stripped-down versions of some of the biggest songs in their catalog.
This week, NPR blessed us with a special performance from 19-year-old Jamaican Grammy-award winning reggae superstar Koffee. She came through with her band and performed a four-song set with some fan favorites like “Rapture,” “Toast,” “Raggamuffin” and “W” without Gunna.
“I just wanted to say thank you for having myself and my band for Tiny Desk,” she told the crowd after “Raggamuffin.” “It’s a great pleasure for all of us. It’s been a fairly short musical journey and we have seen fairly much success. So I give much thanks and I want to thank everybody who’s involved. You have all become a part of the journey so thank you.”
Koffee recently took home the Best Reggae Album for her 2019 EP Rapture which includes three out of the four songs performed during her Tiny Desk set. While winning a Grammy is an incredible feat on its own, Koffee became not only the youngest person to receive the accolade but also the first female to ever do so as well.
Nipsey Hussle Estate Celebrates Grammy Success With Bittersweet Photo
Nipsey Hussle posthumously won two Grammy Awards this year.
After losing out to Cardi B in the race for the Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammy Awards, the Recording Academy finally gave the Los Angeles legend his flowers during last weekend’s show. Unfortunately, he is no longer with us to accept the awards but his family walked up on stage to thank his fans for continuing to further his legacy. Being awarded two posthumous trophies for “Racks In The Middle” and “Higher,” Nipsey Hussle smiled down on us last Sunday during the ceremony. His family imagined what the star would look like carrying his new hardware, enlisting a designer to draw it up and post the results to his official social pages, congratulating Hussle on his posthumous achievement.

The 2020 Grammy Awards Sink To New Low In TV Ratings: Report
This year’s Grammy's was reportedly the lowest-rated in history.
It appears the Grammys hit a new low last night in the Neilson ratings. According to reports, music’s biggest night drew a 5.4 rating in adults 18-49 in age and saw 18.7 million total viewers, which is down 3% in the key demo and 6% in total viewership compared to last year’s telecast, which drew a 5.6 rating and 19.9 million total viewers.
With that said, this year’s telecast is now considered the lowest-rated in Grammy history. The least-watched Grammys came back in 2006, with 17 million viewers, but that had a higher rating amongst age group & target audience.
Despite the letdown for their own numbers, the Grammy’s still crushed the rest of the field Sunday night for most watched program.
Alicia Keys served as the show’s host, with an opening tribute to the late Kobe Bryant with help from Boyz II Men. Peep that performance (below) and check out all the winners from the Grammy's right here if you happened to have missed them. The big winner was Billie Eilish, who won “Album of the Year” and “Record of the Year,” meanwhile Tyler The Creator won "Rap Album of the Year" for Igor as well.
Ariana Grande Debuts New Butterfly Tattoo At Grammy Awards
Delicate and cute.
Ariana Grande attended last night's Grammy Awards and had all eyes on her on the red carpet. The 26-year-old singer graced the event in a grey gown that had Ariana written all over it, with its bold and feminine ways. True Ariana fans were quick to notice something new about the singer that came in the form of a delicate butterfly tattoo placed on the back of her left arm.

Ariana has updated fans many times in the past when it came to her new ink, but this one was a surprise that was loved by her fans.
It was around this time last year when Ariana got a hand tattoo that was supposed to have an enlightening meaning in Japanese but instead it just read "Japanese BBQ grill." After getting roasted by fans and comics online, Ariana followed up with a message admitting her mistake. "I'd like it to be respectful and more correct bruh what’s wrong w that ? tryna learn heeere," she wrote. "Everything i do is out of love n appreciation. down for all the corrections and guidance. thank u."
She's safe with this new ink.
