A family has been left heartbroken after it's been reported that 17-year-old Giselle Rengifo was shot in Miami. According to multiple news reports, Giselle was at an Airbnb when she was killed, and when police responded to the scene, her 17-year-old boyfriend Michael McGowan confessed to pulling the trigger. He claims that the gun went off accidentally resulting in Giselle being shot in the head. Giselle's sister, singer Betty Idol, also known as Salomé, took to social media to plead for help in bringing awareness to the case. The Love & Hip Hop and Cartel Crew reality star continues to openly mourn the loss of her little sister.
"Pray for my family. Pray for the world we live in," Betty Idol wrote on Instagram. "God please hear our prayers. Please give us strength. Please protect us from the devil who took my sister and is taking other lives. Be with our family and the other family who is passing through the same horrible situation. God I beg you to change the world we live in. Stop the violence. Touch these kids of this generation so that they clean their souls and learn to live by the word. Please give our families justice."
Thre are also questions as to how and why an Airbnb was able to be rented during the pandemic. Catherine Rengifo, Giselle's mother, cried while speaking with local news reporters. "She was a beautiful person. She had a beautiful soul. Why did they take her? Please ask him, ‘Why did he take her from me?’" The Rengifo family doesn't believe that the shooting was an accident, and Betty Idol has shared screenshots of conversations with McGowan's family members who have reportedly been speaking negatively about Giselle on social media. Read through a few messages from Betty Idol below. We send our sincerest condolences to the Rengifo family.

Master P and Romeo Miller were called out by Lil Twist after they exited “Growing Up Hip Hop” following allegations that the show is fake.
We’re not sure if there is more Growing Up Hip Hop drama off-screen than on television. The WEtv series has found that cast members are dropping like flies ever since Romeo Miller and his father Master Pannounced their exit. Lil Twist, who has starred in two seasons of the Los Angeles edition of the series, recently called out his co-stars for complaining about how they’re being portrayed on television. Master P shared a behind-the-scenes video to social media that showed him arguing with production about their choice to drag out Romeo’s storyline with Angela Simmons. Percy Miller has returned to say that he’s not trying to beef with anyone about his choice to protect his energy and his brand.
Jerritt Clark / Stringer / Getty Images“‘Who are the haters in ya neighborhood?!?!’ They putting us against each other for bread,” he wrote in the caption to a video he posted to Instagram. “It wasn’t good a week ago but it was good 5 seasons ago, when the show was about building kings and queens of families in Hip-hop. I have no beef with nun of these younstas. Romeo and I quit the show 6 months ago so nothing you see now is in real time so that’s why this show is fake. We left a couple mill on the table, I have one question who did they give that to? That’s why education and ownership is so important.”
In the video clip, he mentions Lil Twist’s remarks. “My beef is not with Lil Twist,” he said. “A lot of these fake producers, they fake! That’s it. Because the real producer that started the show, she don’t even want her name on here. And I got that on video. I can show you that, too.” He encouraged others to take a look at the big picture. He also mentioned Charlamagne Tha God, and that may be because The Breakfast Club discussed the controversy on their show today (May 20). Check it all out below.
Lil Twist Calls Out "Growing Up Hip Hop" Co-Stars Complaining About Series
Lil Twist has had enough with his "Growing Up Hip Hop" co-stars who have complained about the way they're being portrayed on the show.
The news of his Growing Up Hip Hop co-stars calling it quits has Lil Twist feeling some type of way. Lil Wayne's protegé has been a featured cast member on the Los Angeles edition of the series, and after Sandra "Pepa" Denton's daughter Egypt Criss announced that she would no longer be apart of the show, Lil Twist took to his Twitter account to voice his frustration with his friends who complain about how they've been portrayed on the series.
David Livingston / Stringer / Getty ImagesTwist can't wrap his head around why it took five seasons for cast members to complain about how they're coming across on television. "I ain’t even been on a full 2 seasons these producers don’t know me like they know y’all.. y’all been in business with these folk way longer than I have....," he tweeted. "Tryna make it seem to the masses that this sh*t is all scripted and written up to LOOK like the way it’s actually being shown.. LISTEN PEOPLE THIS SH*T IS 100 percent real." He added that the producers aren't at fault because they're only working with what the cast is giving them.
"So if it is fake.... why I don’t look like a weird ass crybaby that’s b*tchin over a joke? Or why I don’t like a n*gga that paint his face and wear press on nails?" Lil Twist continued. "Ohh that’s cause I’m only give these producers and the people that watch WHAT I WANT THEM TO SEE . can’t trick twist." The rapper told his castmates not to be angry when the public forms an opinion on how they've act when cameras were rolling. Read through his full set of tweets below.
Egypt Criss Announces She’s Quit "Growing Up Hip Hop"
Egypt Criss, daughter to Sandra “Pepa” Denton, is the latest “Growing Up Hip Hop” star to quit the series.
The Growing Up Hip Hop sets seem to be imploding. For months, it’s been suggested that members of the WEtv cast have been at odds with production. Master P and Romeo Miller announced their departure from the show after voicing their frustration with GUHH‘s Angela Simmons storyline. Romeo and Angela were once touted as possibly being the next “it” mogul couple of hip hop, but following their falling out, things became tense. The dismantling of their friendship was a key focus of this recent season, and the Millers wanted no part.
D Dipasupil / Stringer / Getty ImagesNext came Bow Wow who shared on social media that he, too, was departing the popular series. His Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta co-star and longtime friend Da Brat suggested that Bow Wow may have been in his feelings when he made the announcement, but fans needed to wait and see what unfolded. After an explosive episode showing a violent altercation involving Briana Latrise, hip hop icon Pepa’s daughter Egypt Criss has also shared that she will not return to the show.
“I respect myself enough to walk away from anything that no longer serves me, grows me or makes me happy,” the budding singer penned in a caption to a selfie on Instagram. “It’s time for me to rise from the ashes from being falsely represented to you, the people I love most, which is why I have decided to resign from Growing Up Hip Hop. #itsbeenreal #allgoodthingsmustcometoanend #movingforward.” Check it out the post by Egypt Cris below.
Master P Exposes "GUHH" Producers With BTS Clip Of Romeo’s Departure
Master P unveils the curtain on “Growing Up Hip Hop.”
A few months ago, reports emerged that Romeo decided to quit over a fake love circle that involved Angela Simmons, Bow Wow, and himself. Though they were merely reports at the time, Master P seemingly fueled speculation after commending his son for moving with integrity. Romeo Miller eventually confirmed the speculation but Master P is making the truth come to light.
Bennett Raglin/Getty ImagesMaster P took to Instagram to share behind the scenes footage of a disagreement between himself and the producers of the show. “If we gonna do business, let’s do right business,” P told the producer before making it clear that he’s not going to allow any negative portrayals being played of any of the cast on television just for the sake of ratings, especially when it came to the Angela Simmons story plot with Romeo. “She lost her boyfriend, her baby daddy. She lost him to — he got murdered. She don’t need another relationship right now,” he continues.”
“I’m only showing you this so next time you’re watching this show you can use your real judgement and see how they flip peoples words and change positive moments into negative. This is the reason we quit 6 months ago. They edit for drama, we have more important things to worry about than fake producers creating fake love stories. The only way to change this is with ownership,” Master P wrote in the caption/.

Bow Wow Blames Angela Simmons’ Ass After House Alarm Goes Off
Angela Simmons accidentally set off Bow Wow’s house alarm with her booty, and the rapper is clowning her for it.
Bow Wow and Angela Simmons have been close for years, even kicking off dating rumors for the last few years. While they maintain the fact that they’re just friends, fans are hoping they’ll reconsider their relationship and take things a step further.
Both Bow Wow and Simmons grew up in the spotlight as child stars and, to this day, they remain close. They’re both starring on Growing Up Hip Hop and, on a recent episode, Simmons took a trip to Bow Wow’s house. She ended up setting off the security system, which she denies, but Bow is roasting her ass for it, literally.
John Ricard/Getty Images“Hey! Stop knocking like you’re the damn feds,” called out the rapper before explaining that she set off his house alarm. “You know why that’s going off? That ass. That ass set that shit off. That’s how powerful your ass is.”
Angela Simmons posted the comical exchange to her social media pages to promote the episode, and Bow Wow jumped in to claim once more that she was responsible for the alarm.

Angela Simmons Recalls Bow Wow "Hurting Her Teenage Heart"
Angela Simmons and Bow Wow have been friends for a while, and she recalled the days when they were dating back when they were teens.
The friendship between Angela Simmons and Bow Wow has stood the test of time. Back in their teenage days, the two had a budding romance, but when that didn’t work out, they were able to maintain a friendship. There have been rumors of the two flirting or dating in recent years, but both parties assure the public that their relationship is purely platonic.
John Ricard / Stringer / Getty ImagesAngela’s brother, Jojo Simmons, gently confronted his sister about her connection to Bow Wow on an episode of Growing Up Hip Hop. In a confessional interview, Angela shared a bit about her history with the rapper. “Bow and I, we were young,” Angela recalled. “He did a lot of messing up. A lot of it. A lot of hurting my teenage heart. A lot of it. ‘Cause he was young and having fun and I was like, the girl who was ready to commit and it was not the time for that.”
Jojo told his sister just to “leave all the ‘Lils’ alone.” No Lil Bow Wow, no Lil Romeo, and randomly, no Lil Zane. Check out the clip of Jojo attempting to give his big sister love advice and watch Angela Simmons reminisce on her teenage heartbreak with Bow Wow below.
Bow Wow Declared Winner Of Hypothetical Romeo Miller IG Live Battle
Bow Wow and Romeo Miller aren't even set to do an IG Live Battle, but after a fan presented the option, social media users declared Bow the winner.
The very suggestion of an Instagram Live Battle between Bow Wow and Lil Romeo sent social media into a tizzy. They both entered the music industry at young ages, had success, toured the world, expanded their portfolios to become actors, are producers, and are featured in differing Growing Up Hip Hop series. Lil Bow Wow and Lil Romeo have dropped their "Lils" and are all grown up, and fans want to see them face-off.
Bryan Steffy / Stringer / Getty ImagesThese two have often been pitted against each other not because of their catalogs, but due to their personal relationships with Angela Simmons. They've both been romantically linked to the Simmons sister, although her relationship with Romeo was never anything official. Their flirting turned into strife, and now the two reportedly aren't on friendly terms. Deb Antney Blasts "LHHATL": "Disgraceful For Women" & "Men Look Horrible"
Deb Antney isn’t a fan of “Love & Hip Hop” after being featured on previous seasons of the VH1 hit show.
Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta may have seen its fair share of arguments, but Deb Antney says that’s nothing compared to Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. The VH1 series has seen a number of cast members come and go, including Deb, her son Waka Flocka, and his wife Tammy Rivera. The trio are not only currently featured on WE tv’s Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta, but they all appear on Waka & Tammy: What the Flocka.
Paras Griffin / Stringer / Getty ImagesDeb Antney recently discussed the differences between the networks and why she prefers to work with producers over at WE tv. According to the music mogul, her current network allows her, along with other cast members, to be themselves while Love & Hip Hop Atlanta leaned more toward sensationalism.
“It’s very disgraceful for women,” she said of LHHATL. “It makes our men look horrible. I’m just not for it. I’m not for the drama like that.” Deb recalled watching Waka and Tammy air out their marriage struggles while on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. “It just destroyed the inside of me,” she added. “I could not function.” Meanwhile, Ms. Deb is waiting for Waka and Tammy to have a baby. She’s petitioned for the couple to welcome a child together, so we’ll just have to wait and see if her wishes come true.
Romeo Miller Faces Off With Angela Simmons & Boogie Dash On "GUHH"
Romeo Miller recently announced that he’d quit “Growing Up Hip Hop,” and now viewers will see what led up to the exit.
WEtv is kicking out these seasons of Growing Up Hip Hop. The show has been faced with major changes now that Romeo Miller and his father Master P have stepped away from the series. Fans will now get a glimpse into what led up to the hip hop mogul family deciding that they no longer wanted to be associated with the franchise.
Earl Gibson III / Stringer / Getty ImagesA trailer for the new season of Growing Up Hip Hop was released on Friday (March 27) and the show is certainly turning up the drama. Pepa and Treach’s daughter Egypt Criss finds herself at odds with her friends over her fiancé Sam. Things even come to blows with Briana Latrise, former step-daughter to Mary J. Blige. While things kick up with that storyline, the tit-for-tat between Angela Simmons and Romeo rages on.
The Millers suggested that Romeo was doing the right thing with Angela, especially because he could have taken advantage of her while she was morning the death of her son’s father, Sutton Tennyson. In a later scene, Romeo and Master P are confronted by others like Dame Dash’s son Boogie Dash and Eazy-E’s son Lil Eazy-E. Things get heated during the talk and Percy Miller wasn’t about to have anything go left in his presence. Check out the trailer for the explosive season below including Dame getting arrested and speaking about the accusations against him.
