Paltrow asks Keating if he knows her least favorite performance from her career, to which he responds, “Shallow Hallow?"
Paltrow nods accepting his answer.
“I’m not sure who told you to do that one, but it wasn’t me,” he says. “That was before your time! See what happened? Disaster.”
As pointed out by People, Paltrow has spoken about her struggle working on Shallow Hal before. During a 2001 interview with W magazine, she explained why the experience was so stressful for her:
“The first day I tried [the fat suit] on, I was in the Tribeca Grand and I walked through the lobby,” she said.
“It was so sad; it was so disturbing. No one would make eye contact with me because I was obese. I was wearing this black shirt with big snowmen on it. For some reason, the … clothes they make for women that are overweight are horrible. I felt humiliated because people were really dismissive.”
Keating appears on Paltrow's new Netflix show The Goop Lab.
Erykah Badu Denies Copying Gwyneth Paltrow With Vagina Incense
Erykah Badu's "Badu's P*ssy" incense recently sold out & critics accused the singer of copying the actress's vagina candle success.
She's been hailed as an innovator who is never a duplicator, so it was important for Erykah Badu to address recent accusations. Earlier this month, Erykah shared with 10 Magazine that she had plans of releasing her own incense with the "superpower" of her vagina. "There’s an urban legend that my p*ssy changes men," Erykah said. “I took lots of pairs of my panties, cut them up into little pieces and burned them... Even the ash is part of it.” Since she claims to not wear underwear anymore, it wasn't much of a loss.

This news came a month after Gwyneth Paltrow sold out of her $75 "This Smells Like My Vagina" candle. The actress's lady parts made headlines following the news, and soon, Erykah's incense sold out, as well—and in 20 minutes, no less. It didn't take long for people to accuse Erykah of plainly copying Gwyneth after seeing the actress's success. However, Erykah took to Twitter to shut down those rumors by telling the world that she's been working on this for years.
"My incense was not inspired by Gwenith Paltrow," Erykah wrote. "That’s a whole nother kinda pu$ $¥. I been in the lab for years. I stay on my pu$ $¥ muscle hustle." Erykah made sure to show Gwyneth love. "Panties off to Gwen’s candle! we love @goop.” The singer may not have copied Gwyneth, but rest assured, there will be plenty of others who will certainly use their blueprint in the future.

This past Tuesday, the former Marvel Universe actress, hosted a private screening of the upcoming docuseries in Los Angeles, CA. However, while her guests were thoroughly entertained by her multi-part documentary detailing alternative health methods or wellness trends, it was her floral decorations that stole the show.
A tight-abed and svelte Gwyneth Paltrow, who recently received some shade Martha Stewart in regards to her vagina-scented candles, stood in front of a vulva-shaped floral arrangement that ranged from deep scarlet hues to softer varying pink tones. The vagina-shaped floral composition used as a backdrop complimented Paltrow’s white spaghetti-strapped crop top and matching, flared slacks.
While the event’s vagina flower design turned heads, Paltrow’s The Goop Lab docuseries informed its viewers about alternative medicine and wellness activities. The Goop Lab features Paltrow interviewing a multitude of alternative health and wellness experts and enthusiasts. Paltrow then proceeds to participate in said alternative methods during various segments throughout each episode.
Gwyneth Paltrow’s upcoming docuseries The Goop Lab is set to premiere Friday, Jan. 25 on Netflix. Check out the official trailer for The Goop Lab as well as more photos of Gywneth Paltrow’s vulva-inspired floral decor in the photos provided below.

Martha Stewart Shades Gwyneth Paltrow Over "Vagina" Candle Popularity
Stewart says it’s because of “a lot of guys who are horny.”
Martha Stewart, in an interview with Andy Cohen, made it abundantly clear she played no role in the selling out of Gwyneth Paltrow’s “This Smells Like My Vagina” candle.
“I’m sure it sold out,” Stewart said when asked for her thoughts on the product’s success. “She does that kind of irritating … she’s trying to zhush up the public to listen to her. And that’s great, I mean, let her do her thing. I wouldn’t buy that candle.”
Cohen followed up by asking what the candle’s success means for America.
“I think it’s not America,” Stewart replied. “I think it’s a lot of guys who are horny.”
Paltrow is selling the candle through her wellness company, Goop. The website’s description for “This Smells Like My Vagina” reads, “With a funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautifully unexpected scent, this candle is made with geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed to put us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth.”
The candle is currently sold out, but you can join the waitlist here.
Paltrow’s newest show, which revolves around Goop, is titled The Goop Lab and releases through Netflix on January 24th. Check out the trailer below.
Gwyneth Paltrow Sells Out Goop Candle That Supposedly Smells Like Vagina
Gwyneth is at it again.
Gwyneth Paltrow catches a lot of flack for her wellness company, Goop. The empire has been criticized for being built on lifestyle products that are overpriced and often based on pseudoscience. With the release of her six-part docu-series with Netflix, The Goop Lab, the criticism will likely flare up again. However, Paltrow isn't only making headlines at the moment because of her new show. There is one Goop product in particular that is attracting attention: The "This Smells Like My Vagina" candle.
The $75 candle has sold out on Goop's website, likely due some rich customers' curiosity. The product's description explains how the company arrived at that name for the candle and the story is pretty straightforward. “This candle started as a joke between perfumer Douglas Little and GP,” reads the website. “The two were working on a fragrance, and she blurted out, 'Uhhh..this smells like a vagina' — but evolved into a funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautifully unexpected scent. (That turned out to be perfect as a candle).”
If you're wondering how Goop replicated the odour of vagina, the candle is “a blend of geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed that puts us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth.” If you're interested in verifying whether Paltrow's candle branding is accurate, you can sign up to be notified when "This Smells Like My Vagina" is back in stock.
