He's been celebrated for years because of his contributions to American Horror Story, but Evan Peters found himself in the hot seat after supporting a controversial tweet. Peters, like many other Hollywood entertainers, remained silent about George Floyd, Black Lives Matter, or the global protests that have taken place worldwide, but he did retweet a Twitter user who criticized people taking to the streets.

"I can watch these piece of sh*t looters get tackled all day!!" the person wrote in the caption of a news story that showed protesters being chased down by police. The person recording is yelling, "Don't let them get away!" It didn't take long for people to call out the actor and the following day, Evan Peters shared a black square in support of #BlackOutTuesday. He followed that up with an apology claiming that he backs Black Lives Matter efforts.
"I don’t condone the guy watching the news at all in the video which I have deleted. I unknowingly retweeted it," he wrote. "I’m deeply upset it got on my newsfeed. I sincerely apologize if anyone was offended. I support black lives matter wholeheartedly." Of course, Cancel Culture is calling for a boycott of Peters and all of his shows and films, and Halsey has been mentioned in the dialogue, as well. There have been rumors that the couple split earlier this year.
Halsey Describes Getting Tear-Gassed & Shot With Rubber Bullets During L.A. Protest
Halsey revealed that she and those around her were tear-gassed and shot with rubber bullets at the L.A. protests despite remaining peaceful.
While attending the protests in L.A. against police brutality in the wake of George Floyd's murder, Halsey documented her experience on social media to bring awareness to how cops are handling peaceful protesters. All across the country, demonstrations have been taking place to protest police brutality after recent footage of a 46-year-old black man by the name of George Floyd getting killed by police proved that the issue is as prevalent as ever. Many celebrities have been spreading awareness, sharing and signing petitions, donating their funds, and attending the protests in their city. Halsey, who revealed she had donated a total of $100,000 to a number of different organizations, was out on the streets of Los Angeles to protest. The singer posted photos on her Instagram story describing the scene, indicating that she and others around her had been shot at with rubber bullets and tear-gassed by cops despite remaining peaceful.
"We were peaceful," she wrote. "Hands up, not moving, not breaching the line. They opened fire of rubber bullets and tear gas multiple times on us. Citizens who were not provoking them."
"Most of us were simply begging them to have empathy," she continued. "To reconsider. To consider humanity and our nations history and future."
"They opened fire multiple times," she explained. "I was hit twice. Once by pellets and once by shrapnel. We were gassed repeatedly for hours."
"The frontline did not relent," she concluded. "I will be returning. HAVE COURAGE."
She later clarified that, despite the rumours, she herself had not been arrested, but that many have been and are not in safe conditions.
"I WAS NOT ARRESTED," she tweeted. "Im safe. There were ppl I had to get to safety as many of them have VISAs. Myself + many of my peers were shot, gassed + antagonized. The frontline was calm + did not provoke BUT MANY ARE NOT SAFE + MANY ARE IN CUSTODY DONATE TO BAIL ORGS!!! I AM CURRENTLY."
"I wanted you to know I was SAFE because information was out of control," she continued. "But I will NOT be updating any more personal information!!! I WILL ONLY BE DOCUMENTING AND POSTING MY RECORD OF THE STATUS OF THE ASSEMBLY. Thousands of you witnessed them fire on us unprovoked. Be safe."
Halsey’s Sexy "Overwatch" Cosplay Will Turn You To A Gamer
Halsey dressed up as D.Va from “Overwatch” and her cosplay results were phenomenal.
If you’re not playing Overwatch yet, you’re about to start, thanks solely to Halsey.
The pop star is a well-known gamer, spending much of her time exploring virtual worlds and unwinding after a long day of rehearsals, press, and studio time by picking up the sticks and going to work. We’re not sure what Halsey is playing right now but if her recent cosplay is any indication, she’s currently obsessed with Overwatch.
Taking to Instagram, the “Without Me” singer dressed up as D.Va from Overwatch, one of the most powerful female characters in the game. An absolute tank, D.Va can absorb all projectiles that are fired her way, which may be why Halsey was so drawn to re-create her look.

Of course, the recording artist gave the character a sexy spin, wearing a cute sports bra and some hot shorts and painting D.Va’s signature look onto her face. Complete with gloves, the look was a hit with all of her gamer followers, but you don’t even need to play Overwatch to realize how hot she looks. Halsey’s cosplay transcends the gamersphere.
In other news related to the 25-year-old singer, she just dropped a collaborative single with Mashmello called “Be Kind.”
Take a look at the pictures below.
Halsey Goes Ass-Out For Earth Day
Halsey got everybody’s attention by posing nude before dropping some environmental gems on Earth Day.
With a limited number of people out and about, this was probably the most compassionate Earth Day we have had in decades. Considering the current climate of the world, there wasn’t much reason for anybody to get out and contribute to years of environmental trauma that we’re responsible for. Being subjected to our own homes, not many people ventured out in their gas-guzzling vehicles or had a chance to pollute the air otherwise, giving the planet a reason to smile on Earth Day.
Still, some people need a kick in the tush to realize the long-lasting effects of our environmental entitlement, and Halsey was there to provide that much, baring her backside to raise awareness for Earth Day.
Alerting her millions of followers that the day had come, pop star Halsey stood naked in a gorgeous body of water to capture everybody’s attention and deliver an important message.

“NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION!!!!,” started the 25-year-old on Instagram. “Happy Earth Day! I encourage all of my followers to take some time to consider ways you can live more sustainably in this time. We can all make small changes to reduce waste, like remembering to recycle, using wooden utensils instead of plastic, switching to solid shampoos and conditioners, buying from small agriculture businesses, etc. I know I still have a long way to go to reduce the waste and carbon emission my profession historically entails, but my team and I are working hard to fix that! If you already suffer from ecological anxiety about the danger our earth is currently experiencing, making any small changes that you can manage could help to bring you a great sense of relief and happiness. Sending my love.”
Shout-out to Halsey and the people like her using their platforms to spread the word. We can all save the planet, as long as we actually try.

Halsey’s Miscarriage Was "The Most Inadequate" She’s Ever Felt
Halsey opened up about the miscarriage she suffered in 2015 while on tour, calling the devastating experience “the most inadequate I’ve ever felt.”
Halsey has been super candid in the past about the miscarriage she unfortunately suffered back in 2015, but in her recent interview with The Guardian, she got even more honest, confessing that the tragic experience was “the most inadequate I’ve ever felt.” Halsey has opened up about suffering a miscarriage at 20 years old while she was on tour many times, noting that the miscarriage actually occurred while she was on stage. As if the experience wasn’t upsetting enough, Halsey became the victim of online vitriol for sharing her struggle. Now, Halsey has dropped her new single, “More,” in which she expresses her desire to have a child. However, she admits that she was afraid of releasing it due to the abuse she faced online as a result of talking publicly about her miscarriage.

“It’s the most inadequate I’ve ever felt,” she said. “Here I am achieving this out-of-control life, and I can’t do the one thing I’m biologically put on this earth to do. Then I have to go onstage and be this sex symbol of femininity and empowerment? It is demoralizing.” Halsey also talked about her struggles with endometriosis, a uterine condition and reproductive illness that poses a difficulty for conception. After receiving her diagnosis in 2017, Halsey decided to freeze her eggs, and now, she says that her most recent prognosis is looking positive. She told The Guardian that motherhood is “looking like something that’s gonna happen for me. That’s a miracle.” Happy for you, girl.
Kehlani Receives Support From Halsey After Sharing Post Breakup Studio Session
Kehlani reportedly shared with the world that she’s once again single & released a song about her breakup just days after her Valentine’s Day surprise from YG.
Their Valentine’s Day was filled with teddy bears, red roses, and dozens of gifts, but just days later, Kehlani and YG are once again no longer together. The singer was excited to share photos of her “Balentimez” Day on Friday, but by Sunday, things had taken a turn. On the lover’s holiday the couple even delivered their collaborative single “Konclusions” and YG recently received a tattoo of Kehlani’s name, but even that wasn’t enough to hold together whatever went down between them behind closed doors.

Kehlani took YG back after his previous infidelity scandal where a video went viral showing him allegedly kissing an unidentified woman. The pair briefly separated before uniting once again, but this time around, Kehlani has made it clear that she isn’t going to return to a vicious cycle. She recorded and released her single “Valentine’s Day (Shameful)” on Monday (February 17) and shared a behind-the-scenes black and white clip of herself in the studio.
“Last night making Valentine’s Day (Shameful) .. same room / same people i made You Know Wassup with,” Kehlani wrote. “Same energy… feel something and get it off. 3 therapeutic hours. appreciating those who see and hear me, and those around me holding me up. real grateful for expression right now. inward & onward, love always ALL ways.”
Halsey slid in her comments with some words of support. “Your positivity your light and your kindness will never be dulled by someone else’s darkness,” said the singer. “Maybe for a moment. But you persevere. You are the realest of the real mama. ?.” Tory Lanez added, “The realist.” Check out a bit of her session below.
Halsey Calls Out Concert Heckler For Shouting G-Eazy’s Name: "F*** That Guy"
Don't disrespect Halsey.
As unfortunate it is when hecklers disrespect artists by interrupting their sets, it can incredibly satisfying when an artist puts the perpetrator in their place in front of a huge crowd of people. The attendees of the "BUDX Miami by Budweiser" party on Saturday night (Feb. 1) got to experience this thrill when Halsey called out an audience member for repeatedly shouting her ex-boyfriend, G-Eazy's, name.
According to TMZ, Halsey paused her set to try to identify the guy who was screaming the rapper's name in what was presumably an attempt to irritate her. “If you say G-Eazy one more f–king time I will kick your ass out of this party,” she threatened into the microphone. “Test me! F–king test me! You wanna get out of the crowd? Who was it? It’s you? Who said G-Eazy?... You don't disrespect me like that at my own show.”
The pop star then started pacing the stage to spot the nuisance, but ended up starting a "F*ck that guy!" chant before continuing with her performance. She addressed the incident on her Instagram Story after the show, writing: "don’t ever let someone make u feel crazy or unhinged cus ur a woman standing up for urself. Don’t tolerate disrespect in the name of being 'nice.' Love u."
Considering that Halsey and G-Eazy didn't appear to have the most amicable breakup, this reaction is warranted. After this split, Halsey moved on to British rocker YUNGBLUD and, now, she is seeing actor Evan Peters. Two weeks ago, Halsey released her new album, Manic.

Halsey Rides Mechanical Bull During Memorable "SNL" Performance
Halsey’s new album, “Manic,” is out now.
Halsey headlined as the musical guest for this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live.
Promoting her new album, Manic, Halsey came of the gates strong with her country-style single “You Should Be Sad.” Silhouetted in front of an artificial sunset, Halsey appears riding a mechanical bull and rocking a black cowgirl hat. It’s a thematically coherent performance, but one that soon devolves into fairly regular SNL choreography. Vocally, she stays on point throughout.
For her second performance, this time of “Finally // Beautiful Stranger,” Halsey takes a more nuanced approach, taking the stage with just a guitar. Here, she’s supplemented by a 6-piece band for an intimate performance, reinforced by lengthy close-ups.
Halsey also lends her voice to the skit “Slow,” where she performs an R&B parody.
Aside from the release of her new album, Halsey made headlines this week when she joked that she hopes the building from which Pitchfork operates collapses. She was seemingly unaware that Pitchfork is owned by Conde Nast and based out of One World Trade Center in New York.
She later apologized on Twitter writing, “Was just trying to make a joke! Intended zero harm. Just figured I could poke at them back with the same aloof passive aggression they poke at artists with! Clearly a misunderstanding.”
