We've been lucky enough to make it through this pandemic with a ton of good music. Artists are doing their best to release a bunch of fire new sounds for us to enjoy, doing God's work and giving us some much-needed entertainment during these rough times. This week brought us so many vibes and the new TIDAL Wave playlist update reflects what was playing in our homes -- the staff of HNHH.
Every week, we gather our favorite new musical offerings for a TIDAL-exclusive playlist and this time around, we've got all of the best new songs in a concise list for you.
TIDAL Wave starts off with the brand new collaboration between Gunna and Young Thug, "DOLLAZ ON MY HEAD." Their second track on WUNNA is also included further down the playlist. We're also giving you "TOP FLOOR" with Travis Scott, "COOLER THAN A BITCH" with Roddy Ricch, and a few solo efforts.
As for Future, we're still bumping that new High Off Life album heavy. We've added "Trillionaire" with Youngboy Never Broke Again, "All Bad" with Lil Uzi Vert, and others.
For stand-alone singles, the staff has been enjoying a lot of everything. Some of us are diving into the new iann dior, others are going for Ludacris' collaboration with Lil Wayne, and others are bumping the new Medhane. Like we said, a lot of everything.

Future Passes Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, & Elvis In All-Time Billboard Hits
Future officially has the fourth most entries on the Billboard Hot 100 in history, trailing Lil Wayne, the cast of Glee, and Drake.
It's time to celebrate Future for what he is: a certified hitmaker and an ultra-talented songwriter. The Atlanta rapper is on the heels of his High Off Life release, going #1 in its first week out. The album brought Future his highest sales ever, moving 153,000 equivalent album units.
It was also a major streaming success and, because of that, a select number of songs from the new album struck gold on the Billboard Hot 100. With "Life Is Good" keeping its position in the Top 10, Future is dominating the charts right now, clocking a bunch of new successes this week and even passing some first-ballot Hall of Famers in the process.

According to Chart Data, Future has officially passed Elvis Presley, Nicki Minaj, and Kanye West on the list of artists with the most Billboard Hot 100 entries ever. This week, Future notched his 110th song on the chart, leaving Nicki and Elvis tied with one less, and Kanye West alone at 107 entries.
Among his new spots on the Hot 100 are "Solitaires" with Travis Scott, "Trillionaire" with Youngboy Never Broke Again, "Trapped In The Sun," "All Bad" with Lil Uzi Vert, "Hard To Choose One," "Ridin Strikers," and "Harlem Shake" with Young Thug.
Despite Pluto's strong week, Lil Uzi Vert remains the artist leading 2020 in entries on the Billboard Hot 100 with 36 separate spots.
Congratulations to Future on another legacy-defining album.
Future & Drake’s "Life Is Good" Hits Half A Billion Views
Future and Drake’s “Life Is Good” video continues to ascend closer to YouTube’s prestigious billion-views club.
There’s something about Drake and Future‘s musical partnership that seems to bring out that unfiltered joie de vivre. From What A Time To Be Alive to their recent collaboration “Life Is Good,” it’s clear that the pair have much to be thankful for. Add another milestone to the ever-growing list with this one. The lead single to Future’s High Off Life, the Drake-assisted “Life Is Good” was originally released on January 10th, 2020. In only four months, the video has amassed over half a billion views on YouTube.
While Future and Drake are commercial juggernauts on their own, together, they’re damn near unstoppable. The song was already certified quadruple platinum on May 8th, and with the video seeming likely to climb even higher, don’t be surprised to see “Life Is Good” earn the pair a few more plaques for their collection.
Though there’s still a while to go before that billion mark, it’s never wise to bet against Drake and Future. Drake has already hit the mark before with “God’s Plan” and “Hotline Bling,” though Future has yet to secure the achievement. That’s not to take away from his YouTube presence, however, with hundreds of millions in combined views lining his stats column. For those keeping score, look out for more updates on “Life Is Good” and its ascent to the billion-dollar club right here.
Future Reflects On Seven Number One Albums
Future proves he’s one of the game’s most consistent artists with “High Off Life’s” gargantuan first week.
Future‘s position as one of the game’s commercial heavyweights has yet to be tested. In some ways it feels like the abundance of baby mama drama that so frequently plagues him actually serves to enhance his musical image, providing him with further fuel for his lyrical content. Like a snake eating its own tail, ouroboros. It’s been a formula that’s served him well throughout the years, with a collection of number one albums to prove it. A collection that has officially come to include his latest, High Off Life.

Clocking in with an impressive sum of 153,000 first week total streams, with 16,000 in traditional sales, Future took a moment to reflect on his latest accomplishment. As per usual, he remains a man of few words. “7 number 1 albums. Lucky Me,” he reflects, looking like a Winter Anniversary event unlockable skin. It’s actually a humble approach for Future, chalking his success up to luck rather than skill. But let’s be honest, he’s never been one to shy away from some self-love.
While it’s clear the people appreciated High Off Life, it’s hard to say if it stands alongside his best studio work — which is to say, DS2, Future, HNDRXX, and The WIZRD. Still, the man knows what he’s doing, and those of us who have enjoyed the journey thus far can still find enjoyment in Future’s musings. Congratulations to the Atlanta rapper for another win in the column. Are you still enjoying High Off Life?
Future’s "High Off Life" Tops Billboard 200 With His Biggest Week Ever
Future’s “High Off Life” debuts at number one on the Billboard 200 while Polo G’s “The GOAT” sits at number two.
The release of Future‘s latest project, High Off Life marks another chart-topping effort for Pluto. The rapper’s new project has soared to the top of the Billboard 200 this week with 153K. It’s a massive feat for Future who has surpassed his own record for the highest first-week sales for a solo project in his catalog.
The 153K moved in the first week with 134K of those coming from streams (186.3M on-demand streams in the U.S.). 16K are from actual album units sold while the TEA units amount to a little over 2K. What’s impressive is that High Off Life surpassed DS2 in terms of first-week sales. The only album of his that’s sold more is What A Time To Be Alive with Drake that moved 376K units in its first week.
Just below Future’s new project is Polo G‘s The GOAT. Though he’s been buzzing for a minute, his latest project has propelled him towards stardom. The GOAT moved 99K in its first week, crushing the first week sales for Polo G’s previous project, Die A Legend. The numbers were undoubtedly high and helped Polo G land the #2 spot on the chart. It’s still a very impressive feat for a young artist who’s only beginning to get started.
Which of the two albums have you been listening to the most this past week? High Off Life? The GOAT? Sound off in the comments.
Future Kindly Reflects On Juice WRLD: "He’s A Special Kid"
During an extensive interview with Beats 1, Future opens up about working on “WRLD On Drugs” with the late Juice WRLD.
Given that Future and Juice WRLD previously linked up for a collaboration album called WRLD On Drugs, it’s clear that the pair possessed a strong sense of creative camaraderie. Unfortunately, Juice’s untimely death left Future mourning his young collaborator, a loss he still carries to this day. Speaking with Zane Lowe of Beats 1, Future took a moment to dete from talking High Off Life to pay respects to Juice WRLD, opening up about the young rapper’s legacy as he sees it.

“It was like working with a different breed,” he explains, reflecting on their time recording together. “It’s something different. Juice one of them, like I say, you know, he had the answers for it. They had an answer for this. It was special. I know it was a special moment. I’m like, “Wow, this is a special fucking moment,” without a doubt. That was one of them things, man, I’m still writing on, I’m still working out. Let’s try to perfect it. And the way I see it perfecting of like, how can I put into words of what was happening with… Why it happened, how it happened?”
“Anyone that got a chance to work with Juice, got a chance to meet a man, especially, it’s a blessing,” he continues. “Just working with him. He’s a great kid, a special kid. He just want to know more. Sitting around say, just trying to figure out everything and having an answer to everything, man.”
Be sure to check out the full interview below. Aside from discussions on Juice WRLD, Future also opens up about the meaning behind his latest album, as well as a variety of other topics. In the meantime, sound off below — have you been keeping High Off Life in steady rotation?
Future "High Off Life" First Week Sale Projections Are Impressive

Future Predicts His Kids Will Be A Problem
Future already senses the creative spirit in his children, saying that they’re all bosses and will be a “problem.”
Future is fresh off the release of his brand new album High Off Life. The Atlanta rap superstar dropped the new body of work today, including features from Drake, DaBaby, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert, Youngboy Never Broke Again, and more. The project was certified gold in the minutes following its release and, in order to spread the good word, the Fire Marshall dropped by Apple Music to speak with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 Radio.
Touching on several hot topics surrounding the album, including his new track “Accepting My Flaws,” his constant evolution as an artist, and more, Future also gave a rare admission about his children, predicting that they’ll all be big stars one day.

“I’m just a studio junkie. It’s just what I am, I don’t love nothing else but making music,” said Future before touching on his family. “Jackson 5. Some Jackson 5 shit. Marley. Marley. More like Bob. Man, 1000%. All my kids, bosses, because I’m a boss. So one thing about that, you just create bosses. You got DNA. And their DNA, there’s boss in their DNA. So it’s a problem.”
With all the headlines this week about Future being confirmed as the father of 1-year-old Reign Wilburn, Eliza Reign’s daughter, it’s nice to see him praising his little ones. Do you think they’ll form a rap supergroup one day, as he envisions?
Future’s "High Off Life" Immediately Goes Gold After Release
Future's new album was certified Gold immediately after its release, due mostly by the success of "Life Is Good."
Future has officially released his eighth studio album High Off Life. With twenty-one new songs, there is a lot for fans of the Atlanta rapper to unpack. While it was always a given that the album would be successful commercially, the inclusion of one track in particular pushed it over the edge in terms of accolades.
It has been reported that, right off the bat, Future's new album High Off Life was certified Gold by the RIAA. You may be asking how that's even possible. Well, let me help you out.
On the project, there are several songs that were previously released, including "100 Shooters" with Meek Mill and Doe Boy and "Life Is Good" with Drake. The latter track was a crazy commercial success, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and challenging hard for the #1 spot in most weeks. While it never hit that mark, sales were strong enough for Future's new album to benefit from that one track to go Gold right away.
Already, "Life Is Good" has been certified quadruple platinum, which can't hurt the all-time numbers for High Off Life.
How long do you think it'll take for the album to go platinum? Also, let us know your favorite song from it in the comments!
