Future is in disbelief that he actually beat the late Elvis Presley's record for Billboard Hot 100 entries. After his new album, High Off Life, officially went No. 1 this week, securing the rapper his seventh number one album of his career, Future got word that the project had also earned him another incredible Billboard feat. After recording his 110th entry this week, Future officially became the artist with the fourth highest number of hits on the Hot 100 chart, surpassing both Elvis Presley and Nicki Minaj, who are now tied in fifth place with 109 entries.

This accomplishment is impressive enough on its own, but Future couldn't believe that he had managed to beat out a rock legend like Elvis. On Tuesday (May 26th), the rapper took to Twitter to express his disbelief.
"7 number 1 albums and they mentioning me with ELVIS PRESLEY," he wrote. "Grateful and beyond THANKFUL." Ahead of Future for most entries of all time is Drake in the top spot with 222 entries, followed by the GLEE cast with 207. It was a humorous moment earlier this year when Drake discovered that he had officially tied with the cast of the musical TV series for the most Hot 100 entries after he and Future dropped "Life Is Good." Drake and the cast of GLEE, which hadn't been on the air for almost five years at that point, were tied with 207 entries each, but he managed to surpass them a few months later after he hopped on "Oprah's Bank Account" with Lil Yachty and DaBaby, breaking the record for most Hot 100 hits of all time.
Lil Durk & G Herbo Keep Their Promise During Hit Battle
Lil Durk and G Herbo vowed to play their favourites from each other’s catalogue during their hit battle on IG live, and that’s exactly what they did.
Lil Durk and G Herbo proved just how much of a true fan they are of each other during their hit battle over Instagram live on Saturday (May 23rd), when they stayed true to their word and actually played their favourite hits from one another’s catalogue. On Friday (May 22nd), it was announced that the two friends and past collaborators would be going head-to-head over IG live courtesy of Chicago radio station, 107.5 WGCI. While the premise of a battle is to compete against one another by using your own vast catalogue of hits, Durk and Herbo both claimed they were going to use the opportunity to show their love for each other by playing their opponents’ biggest hits.
It looks like they actually kept their promise. In a clip from the battle, Durkio’s “Can’t Go Like That” off his 2013 mixtape Signed to the Streets plays as Herbo bops along with his son, Yosohn. Because they didn’t exactly stick to the rules, there was no clear winner, but when two artists love each other’s music as much as they do, everybody wins.

Prior to the battle taking place, Herbo got tangled up in some of 6ix9ine’s antics, after he left a comment on a post about the “GOOBA” rapper. When 6ix9ine reminded the world that Charlamagne promised he’d “suck his dick” if 6ix9ine beat his case, Herbo pointed out that technically, since he copped a plea deal and snitched, it didn’t count. The two of them proceeded to exchange jabs before Herbo got the final word in.
French Montana Discredits Kendrick Lamar Again
French Montana says that the majority of Kendrick Lamar's commercial success has come through featured appearances.
Complex Music released a comparison of Kendrick Lamar and French Montana's commercial success last night to prove, once and for all, who has more hits out of the two. The findings revealed that Kendrick Lamar overwhelmingly has more hits than French Montana.
The results proved that Kendrick has been in the Top Ten eight total times while French Montana has only been there twice. As for total entries on the Billboard Hot 100, Kung Fu Kenny has been there forty-eight times with French Montana clocking in seventeen entries. Finally, a list of their multi-platinum records was detailed with French falling short again.
The Bronx rapper has seen the comparison and he's still out to prove that he's got more hits. In fact, he commented on the post, discrediting Kendrick once more.
"Most of kendricks features Too!," claimed French Montana, disregarding all of the presented information that proves him wrong. "I never compared myself I just stood up for myself. We all know kendrick one of the goats."
Technically, you did compare yourself. You literally said that you have more hits than Kendrick Lamar, in those words. That is what comparison is.
Do you think Young Thug will have something to say about this?
French Montana: "I Have More Hits Than Kendrick Lamar"
French Montana thinks that he would “outshine” Kendrick Lamar at a festival because he has more hits.
Before this gets out of hand, French Montana is in no way trying to argue that he’s a better artist than Kendrick Lamar. In fact, he seems to be giving the rapper his due props. Still, people are up in arms over a claim that the Bronx star made during a recent interview.
French Montana was speaking with Complex video call where he addressed his beef with 50 Cent, his sobriety, and more. During the same sit-down talk, he also alluded to the fact that he thinks he would attract a larger crowd than Kendrick Lamar if the two artists were performing at the same time during a music festival.

“I mean, honestly, you could put somebody like Kendrick Lamar next to me on the same stage at a festival. I might outshine him… not because I’m a better rapper or whatever it is. It’s just that I got more hits,” said French Montana. “Kendrick Lamar got albums. He got masterpieces. But if you were to put us on the festival stage I would outshine him because I have more hits than Kendrick Lamar.”
It seems difficult to believe that there are many people that would agree with French Montana’s take here. With tracks like “Alright,” “Swimming Pools,” “i,” “DNA.,” “Humble,” “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe,” and more, it’s hard to argue that French has more hits than Kendrick.
What do you think? Who would you rather see on the festival stage?
