It's been roughly two months since Tekashi 6ix9ine came out of prison and truthfully, it seems like his antics are losing its effect. He's returned with a vengeance, mainly to deflect the bad press of being a snitch, while taking aim at some of the biggest names in hip-hop from Snoop Dogg to Meek Mill and Future.
Since he's not allowed to leave his home, he took to Instagram Live ahead of the release of "TROLLZ" where he attempted to stir the pot a little bit more. As many members of the rap industry expressed their disappointment in Nicki's decision to work with 6ix9ine again, including Future, Tekashi 6ix9ine lashed out and brought up the ATL rapper's baby mama situation. "Future, you don't take care of your kids, right? You can't compare me to you because I can't have no communication with mine. My baby mama was having sexual relations with my co-defendant," 6ix9ine explained.
Sara Molina went on Instagram Live shortly after where she aired out Tekashi 6ix9ine and essentially called bullshit on his claims. "He's no better than Future because he has another kid that he just doesn't take care of," she said after she stated that there was no communication in the first place. She also stated that 6ix9ine had communication with his daughter while he was in jail, though that didn't continue after his release.
Though Sara Molina was relatively calm as she aired out her grievances, it was her mother that finally went off on 6ix9ine's overall behavior. "I was talkin' to him. I was even letting his mother see the baby. His mother, his brother. What happened to all of them that care about my daughter?" She's heard saying off camera. "Stop copping her name to promote your music to get dollars. You don't pay no child support, you bum ass."

Tekashi 6ix9ine won’t be too happy about this latest development.
When Tekashi 6ix9ine got out of jail, fans were extremely curious as to what he would do next. Some thought that he would bleed into obscurity, never to be heard from again. Of course, this didn’t happen and it was naive of us to think this would actually be the case. Instead, 6ix9ine has been all over the news thanks to his incessant trolling and new music.
A couple of weeks ago, 6ix9ine hosted his first IG live session since coming home and it garnered over 2.1 million concurrent viewers which at the time, was an Instagram record. Well, it didn’t take long for someone to break it. According to DJ Akademiks, a Turkish reality TV show owner hopped on live with a group of people and was able to get three million viewers.
This is pretty impressive stuff although it begs the question of whether or not these views were legitimate. As North Americans, we don’t really have a true sense of the power of stars overseas so this could very well just be an indicator of how popular this reality TV star really is. Regardless, these numbers are very impressive and we’re sure 6ix9ine is shadowboxing in his basement at the very thought of his record being broken.
He’ll have to do something drastic if he wants to reclaim the crown.
Beenie Man Gets Rid Of Cops During Bounty Killer "Verzuz" Battle
Police attempted to stop the highly anticipated "Verzuz" battle with Beenie Man and Bounty Killer last night.
The Verzuz battles have brought legends together to celebrate their contributions to the game. Erykah Badu and Jill Scott. Nelly vs. Ludacris. And of course, we can't forget the legendary Teddy Riley and Babyface battle. But last night brought the Verzuz battle to international waters when Bounty Killer and Beenie Man went head-to-head. It was one for the books, as well. Instead of going on IG Live and playing their records, they kept it straight dancehall, performing their songs in the same building with a DJ backing them.
View this post on InstagramUnfortunately, with social distancing measures in place, the police attempted to break up the battle but Beenie Man handled it like a true Don. "Can we not do this right now?" Beenie asked the cop who was off-screen. "There are 500,000 people watching us right now from all over the world. Do you want to be that guy?" He continued. "People. The police are here. But we are not stopping because before COVID-19, it was murderers killing people. It was people killing people then COVID-19 start killing people."
Eventually, the police did leave and Beenie Man added, "The police are gone. We got rid of them. We are Jamaicans. We are being nice. We are being good. We are nice people, Don’t make me stop the fight! So people, let’s do this!”

Jay-Z Trolls The Bullits Over Claims Of Stealing Toilet Paper On IG Live
Yes, you read that headline correctly.
Just when you thought the world was getting strange, Jay-Z pops up on Instagram Live. Yes, the same Jay-Z that tweets once in a blue moon and has no trace of an Instagram profile. So when Young Guru hopped on Instagram Live with The Bullits while Jay-Z was in the room, things got a little weird when Jay-Z was accused of stealing a black leather bag with toilet paper in it. Yes, you read that right.
The Bullits and Young Guru were on Instagram Live when the former began begging to speak to Jay. "I just need to speak to Jay," The Bullits demands.
"I can hear you, go ahead," Jay replies.
"I just need you to come to the camera," The Bullits pleaded. Though his efforts to come face-to-face with Jay-Z failed, The Bullits prefaced his little rant by letting Jay know he's one of the greatest to ever do it. "I have no idea what's going on," Jay replied.
"The reason I'm saying that Jay is because you have an amazing memory so don't feign a bad memory when I tell you -- you stole my leather backpack with my aloe vera toilet paper in it. It was you," he said while Young Guru's threw his hands in disappointment and Jay laughed in the background. "Look, here's the thing. What'd you get the billionaire greatest rapper alive of all time that has everything?" The Bullits continued. "Homemade, by his mom, aloe vera toilet paper. It was you, Jay," The Bullits continued. "I went through all the suspects since the Gold Party."
Guru grew more fed up while The Bullits continued to fire shots at Jesse Williams, Ellen Pompeo, and Tiffany Hadish who apparently started a rumor that his breath smells bad.
"Is this like a tissue challenge?" Jay asked after The Bullits continued to demand for the toilet paper and backpack. "Wait, wait. Let me ask you a question. And this a serious question.... James, have you not wiped your bum since the gold party?" Jay asked before Guru started cracking up. Guru got fed up and began lashing out at The Bullits for wildin' out.
"I got some advice. If you're backpack is really missing and this is really true," Jay began. "Allegedly, because we on live TV or whatever this shit is. The person that took your backpack killed Rex Mills. Find that person, you find that backpack... allegedly," Jay added. "Who is above your pay grade? Take what I told you... allegedly."
The Bullits has been pestering many people associated to Jay-Z about this backpack but I guess the real question now is: Who killed Rex Mills?
Peep the madness in the clip below.

Brandy Says Monica Shot Down IG Live Battle
Brandy explains why there will not be an IG Live head-to-head between her and fellow r’n’b OG, Monica.
Recently, Brandy has been making a music career comeback. The singer returned to the fray with a brand new single featuring Chance the Rapper, an ode to mothers everywhere, aptly-titled, “Baby Mama.”
Since her return, and the advent of IG Live Battles helmed by Swizz Beatz‘s and Timbaland‘s Verzuz platform, there has been talk of a battle between Brandy and Monica. While it was tentative at the time, it seems that it will definitely not happen, despite the fact that Brandy does seem open to it now. “The Boy Is Mine” collaborator gave an interview to V103 Atlanta recently where she provided an update on the potentiel of a Verzuz showdown.

“I heard that she doesn’t wanna do it,” Brandy says of Monica. “The last thing I heard is she pretty much turned it down, she didn’t want to be a part of that, but I understand.”
Still, she gave her two thumbs up to the platform– “I love what they’re doing with that platform. I think it’s just a great way to share music and celebrate.”
Would you guys be here for a Monica VS. Brandy showdown? Peep her full interview with the radio station below.
Tekashi 6ix9ine Announces Release Date For New Song & Video
Tekashi 6ix9ine will be making his highly-anticipated return to music on Friday.
Tekashi 6ix9ine is certainly one of the most polarizing artists of the last few years. He burst onto the scene with massive hits like "GUMMO" and "BILLY" but eventually, he got wrapped up in a massive criminal case that he was at the center of. It looked like 6ix9ine was going to be locked up for years of his life but thanks to some snitching, he was able to reduce his sentence. Tekashi was only slated to be released from jail in July but due to his asthma and the COVID-19 pandemic, the judge allowed him to leave early where he is now on house arrest.
Thanks to a massive billboard in the center of Times Square, we now know that Tekashi will be returning to music, tomorrow at 3 PM. In fact, he will be taking to Instagram live where he will debut a brand new song while also showing off a new music video, that was filmed in his backyard.
Fans have been excited for new Tekashi music while others are apprehensive of giving the rainbow-haired rapper another shot at fame. Regardless, we're sure it's going to be interesting and we're curious as to what kind of direction he will be taking his art, from this point forward.
Trina Decisively Declines Khia’s Battle Challenge
Trina makes it abundantly clear that she has no interest in engaging in a battle with Khia, nor does she feel it even merits a proper response.
Thanks to the popularization of online battles like those of Verzuz, the brainchild of Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, artists have been granted yet another platform to assert their domination over an opponent. At least, that’s what Khia had in mind when she recently challenged Trina to a digital duel, warning the Slip-N-Slide rapper that she had “485 hits to put on your ass, bitch.”

Unfortunately for the author behind “My Neck My Back,” the internet seemed to think little of her confident declaration, emerging in droves to rally behind Trina — herself a legendary figure in Miami, and hip-hop in general. And while some felt that Khia could put up some semblance of a fight, the consensus seemed to paint this potential battle as heavily one-sided in Trina’s favor.
Now, Trina has issued a response of her own, making it clear that she has no interest in going head to head with Khia — nor does she feel it’s even a remotely challenging prospect. “I’m not stepping off my throne to address no bum, no chicks who are beneath me, and nobody who hasn’t worked as hard as me for anything,” she states, her tone venomous. “When you girls are calling my name, you want to battle, make sure you have ten hits. Make you sure have enough records. Make sure you’re on my level if you think you want to go toe to toe with me.”
Tekashi 6ix9ine Announces His First IG Live Session Post-Prison
Tekashi 6ix9ine will be heading on Instagram Live on Friday.
Tekashi 6ix9ine has been rather quiet since he was able to get out of prison due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but there have been hints here and there of things to come. He’s shared a few comments on Instagram poking fun at himself and his snitching ways, and he’s also made an announcement for when we can expect new music— and now he’s added to the announcement, with an Instagram Live session coming up later this week.
6ix9ine is slated to drop new music on Friday, May 8th, and it looks like he’ll be doing a bit of promo for it that same day. He’s announced an IG post that he’ll be hosting an Instagram Live session for the fans also this Friday, at 3 PM EST. We don’t know exactly what his music roll out will be like on Friday, if we can expect more than one song or not, so stay tuned for that.
As far as the IG Live session goes, he hasn’t shared any of the details– but he does encourage fans to “not be scared.” Alongside the announcement 6ix9ine writes, “Lets get this party started. Don’t get scared now.” The big question is, will his hair be back to its rainbow origins?
Are you guys scared? Or excited? Or neither? Let us know how you’re feeling about the 6ix9ine comeback. We’ll definitely be tuning into the antics on Friday.
Three 6 Mafia & Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Instagram Live Battle Announced
Bone Thugs and Three 6 Mafia will be battling in a Verzuz challenge on Instagram Live to celebrate the culture.
It sucks that we’re all in quarantine right now (and for the foreseeable future) but our beloved hip-hop artists have been keeping us entertained with a number of hits battles on Instagram Live. We’ve seen Teddy Riley go up against Babyface in a legendary head-to-head and there are rumblings that Diddy and Dr. Dre will go up to bat next. Before that takes place though, the next Verzuz battle has just been announced.
As announced by members of both groups, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Three 6 Mafia will be battling in the next hit battle this week. The reveal was made on social media with thousands of excited fans marking down the date and time on their calendars.
“Celebrating over 50 combined years of hits,” wrote Krayzie Bone on Instagram.
Peter Kramer/Getty ImagesOf course, because of social distancing rules, the groups will not be able to be together during the battles. However, representatives from Bone Thugs and Three 6 Mafia will be present to play their biggest hits.
In Bone Thugs’ corner, Krayzie Bone will be the leading man and on Three 6 Mafia’s side, DJ Paul will come through.
This is sure to be one of the most exciting battles to date and, on paper, either one of these groups can win. This is going to be neck and neck.
The live-stream will happen on Thursday, April 30 at 8 PM EST. Exclusive merch will also be available to commemorate the battle!
Michael Blackson & Mike Epps Have A Roast Off
The comedy lords have blessed us with a roast off on IG Live between Michael Blackson and Mike Epps.
In the current times we're in, rappers, producers, and songwriters have faced off on Instagram Live for soundclashes of sorts. Going song-for-song, we've witnessed some of the greatest musical artists of our time duke it out to see who has the stronger catalog. Thankfully, these sorts of battles have sparked even more clashes of sorts, including among comedians.

Most recently, Michael Blackson and Mike Epps went face-to-face on Instagram Live and gave the people want they wanted -- a roast off. The two legendary comedians dished out jokes on each other. "Aye Mike, your mom is half coyote, half squirrel," Epps told Blackson. "Mike, your mom and your pops is the same n***a. Fuck you," Blackson quipped.
But in a matter of moments, they teamed up to troll the coronavirus pandemic as a whole. Mike Epps joked that it's gotten so bad in New York that the Statue of Liberty was rushed to the hospital while Michael Blackson joked that coronavirus is so big that it has Ebola jealous.
Even in the midst of all the roasting, Mike Epps and Michael Blackson did shower each other with flowers for the work they've put in over the years. Perhaps, we'll get to see them back on screen together soon. The last time they starred in the film alongside each other was for 2016's Meet The Blacks.
