The rapper-turned-actor retweeted a post that announced the tragic passing of Josh Wallwork, a costume designer on Ice-T's show, Law & Order: SVU. "Very sad news today," the tweet said. "One of our costumers, and a beautiful man, Josh Wallwork, passed away from complications of Covd-19. Cast and crew send love and prayers to his family and friends. We are heartbroken."
Ice-T responded to the message by saying, "I worked with Josh every day… MAN! Pay attention people. #SVU."
Eighth US Case Of Deadly Coronavirus Found In Boston
The infection grows in the United States.
An eighth case of the Coronavirus has been confirmed in the United States.
A man from Boston, in his 20s, has contracted the virus, according to CNN. The report cites a press release from Boston and Massachusetts health officials. The positive test results were sent to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Boston Public Health Commission, Friday evening.
The man had recently traveled from Wuhan, China. The few people he has come in contact with are being monitored for symptoms.
“Our priority is not only to protect and inform the residents of Boston but also to help this man continue to recover. We are pleased that he is doing well,” Boston Public Health Commission Executive Director Rita Nieves said in the release. “Right now, we are not asking Boston residents to do anything differently. The risk to the general public remains low. And we continue to be confident we are in a good position to respond to this developing situation.”
This is the first case of the Coronavirus in Massachusetts. Other states that have confirmed cases include California, Washington state, Arizona and Illinois.
The current death toll sits at 259 reported fatalities. 12,000 people have been infected with the virus globally.

Alex Smith Explains Life-Threatening Injury: "Very Much Lucky To Be Alive"
Alex Smith opens up about his life-threatening injury.
Redskins' Quarterback Alex Smith is "very much lucky to be alive," according to a new interview with ESPN's Outside The Lines.
Smith is referring to a leg injury that kept him off the field for over a year. In November 2018, during a game against the Houston Texans, Smith was tackled by JJ Watt and Kareem Jackson that resulted in a gruesome compound fracture of his right tibia, which penetrated the skin. He also suffered a fractured right fibula.
It was the tibia penetrating the skin that was the biggest concern. Such an injury increases the risk of infection significantly.
"I had a pretty serious infection ... they had a lot of complications with it,'' Smith explained. As it turns out, he had developed sepsis, a life-threatening condition.
Smith continued, "next thing I remember is waking up several weeks later faced with the decision of amputation or limb salvage at that point."
Smith opted for limb salvage and the surgeries were successful. "[I'm] so thankful for everyone that's had a hand in this," he said. "My wife, kids, and family and doctors and nurses and PTs and trainers and so many people that have helped me to be sitting here."
Smith has been cleared of all infection and hopes he'll be able to return to the Redskins.
