Def Jam is one of the most iconic labels in hip-hop although it has seen a bit of a decline over the last decade. For the last two years, Paul Rosenberg has been in charge of the brand and it seems like he wasn't doing enough to meet the label's goals. With this in mind, it shouldn't be a surprise that he recently decided to step down, albeit, at a pretty odd time.

Now, Def Jam is looking for a brand new CEO and there have been rumors as to who it will be. Many are trying to guess who the best fit would be and some pretty famous people have been brought up. In fact, a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast had some thinking Kanye West could fit the role. While nothing is confirmed, 50 Cent decided to throw his hat into the ring although it feels like he's trolling, which is usually the case with Fif.

Kylie Jenner posted some adorable photos of her daughter Stormi looking all grown up on Instagram yesterday. The little girl donned gold hoop earrings, a Chrome Hearts outfit, and a blinged out handbag as she typed away on a cell phone in one of the snapshots. It’s reported that the outfit retails for approximately $245 and her purse alone is about $595, which is a rhinestone bag from Alexander Wang NY.

Despite the cuteness overload, Kylie Jenner has been under fire for dressing Stormi up lately. Some say that Kylie is posing a safety hazard for allowing the little girl to wear adult sized earrings. “Don’t you think she’s too young to wear those?” one fan wrote, while another added. “They could get caught on stuff.”

More people were critical in Stormi’s outfit, saying, “her wardrobe is more than my annual salary,” one fan wrote. “She’s wearing all of my bank account,” another person added. “That bag she’s carrying can pay my school fees for a year,” a third person chimed in.

After the song unexpectedly became a hit on social media platforms such as TikTok, Doja Cat has officially filmed the music video for “Say So” and it’s coming out tomorrow morning.

Her name has been ringing bells for years but, in recent years, Los Angeles native Doja Cat has been proving to her critics that she’s not just a meme. A skilled performer, the 24-year-old has become one of the most eccentric forces in the music business, electrifying us all with her wardrobe choices, her star-studded personality, and her charismatic raps. As one of the leading forces in rap’s growing list of talented women, Doja Cat experienced major success with her sophomore studio album Hot Pink, which contained features from Gucci Mane, Tyga, and Smino. Announcing that the latest visual for the project is set to drop tomorrow morning, the rising star caught everyone’s attention with a thirst trap.

Just days after posing fully nude on Instagram, Doja Cat uploaded a still shot from her upcoming “Say So” video to warn us of its arrival. “You bitches wanted it, now you’ll have it,” she said, holding a blunt between her fingers and leaning over in a cut-out, revealing dress.

Earlier this month, singer Mya trolled the entire world into believing she had gotten married when, in reality, it was just some very clever marketing for her latest music video. In the clip, Mya marries herself in what was initially reported as a super-secret wedding ceremony in Seychelles. While she may not be a married woman officially, Tory Lanez possibly has plans on changing that in the future, playfully shooting his shot in social upload last night.

With his Chixtape 5 album celebrating some of the greatest voices of R&B in recent memory, Mya was obviously invited to the party, hitting the stage for the Chixtape & Friends show. Following her set, Lanez posed with her backstage, recalling his childhood fantasies of one day proposing to the star.

To be fair, just about anybody would be fanboying out to meet Mya, who has maintained all of her beauty at forty-years-old. Since she didn’t actually get married the other day, maybe Tory legitimately has a chance at starting something meaningful with her.

Despite her status as a straight-up legend, she still somehow goes underappreciated on a regular basis — just ask Doja Cat. Sending a message to anybody who dare say a negative word about her, she posted up while in Trinidad for Carnival this morning, issuing a quick shot at her critics.

With an album likely on the way before the end of the year, the previously-retired Nicki Minaj is having the time of her life in her home country, spending some quality time with her husband Kenneth Petty as they take in the lively atmosphere in the islands. When she made an appearance at an event yesterday, Minaj was met with a number of fans who expressed their love of the superstar. Returning the favour, she posted a video on her socials where she mouthed the words “I love you too” to a fan before speaking directly to the naysayers.

“And I love you. Anyone with an issue can kindly suck a dick w|2 balls on the side,” wrote the musician.

This past Monday (Feb. 24), Courtney Love shared an amazing tribute to her husband, Kurt Cobain, on what would have been their 28th anniversary. The notorious grunge scene songstress has lived one of the most polarizing lives in all of pop culture contributing to the punk/grunge scenes in the United States and Europe. In the early 2000s, Courtney Love struggled with addiction a la her husband, Kurt Cobain whose heroin addiction and depression eventually led to his untimely demise in April 1994, when he imposed a self-inflicted shotgun wound to his head. Now, nearly 30 years later, Courtney Love is still troubled by the loss of the love of her life.

The now 55-year-old musician took to her Instagram account to share a throwback snap from their wedding in 1992 in Honolulu Hawaii. In the photo, both beautiful souls stand there holding bouquets of flowers behind a backdrop scene of the Pacific Ocean and a cloudy sky, Love captions the picture:

“28 years ago, we got married, in Honolulu, on Waikiki beach tonight spoke to sponsor, I .. Lit some candles chanted, diamoku, Walked my dog. Went to sushi with my best friend, the closest I have to another one.”

Love continues writing:

“28 years ago, I recall feeling, deeply, delighted, dizzy, so in love, and knowing how lucky I was. This man was an angel. I thank him for looking out for me, many parts of the last 28 years have been torturous chaotic and uphill, and in public? Kurt Cobain, the birther of one of the greatest grunge bands of all-time in Nirvana has influenced a subculture of free-thinking individuals that eventually bled its way into hip-hop. While he may longer be with us, he’s definitely apart of the culture regardless of his thoughts on the hip-hop scene.
