Over the weekend, Jamal Murray had an interesting start to his quarantine. As you all probably know by now, a video of himself receiving oral sex was posted on his Instagram story. Murray claims he was hacked although no one knows for sure whether or not this was actually the case. Murray eventually apologized for the incident but three days later, he is still being clowned for what went down.
Yesterday, CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers got to go live on the NBA's official Instagram account. At one point, a commenter made fun of McCollum by saying his neckbeard looked like Murray's private parts. McCollum echoed these sentiments out loud which led to a hilarious response from Lillard.
Following McCollum's comments, Lillard noted that the NBA should never have allowed him to go live on their official accounts. Regardless, both men found the whole thing amusing. Considering they got the joke so quickly, it was pretty much an acknowledgement that they had, indeed, seen the video.
As for Murray, this whole situation probably hasn't been as entertaining. At the end of the day, a very intimate video of himself was leaked and the consequences could be pretty dire at home.
Jamal Murray Apologizes To Fans After His IG Was Hacked With NSFW-Video
Jamal Murray needed to apologize to fan after someone hacked his IG and leaked some NSFW clips.
Jamal Murray sent out an apology to fans Sunday morning after learning that his Instagram account had been hacked over night and released some NSFW-videos. "First and foremost I would like to apologize to my fans," Murray tweeted out. "My account has been hacked, currently working on the issue. Thanks."
The incident happened over night when the Nuggets star’s IG Stories started to share some bizarre posts out of nowhere, including what appeared to be a sex tape of Murray allegedly receiving a blowjob from a woman who could've been his girlfriend, Harper Hempel. All the posts, including the video, were quickly deleted off his profile.
After fixing the hack, Murray decided to deactivate his profile to try and clear everything. Although the footage was removed off his profile, people were still able to grab the video and other posts before they were deleted. This led his girlfriend, Harper Hempel, to ask them to get rid of the clip.
Following a NSFW-leak like that however, fans had a field day on Twitter, sharing their reactions & hilarious memes online which you can see for yourself (below). Check them out.
Jamal Murray’s Dunk Of The Year Ruined By Ridiculous Foul
This official needs to be fined for waving off Jamal Murray's explosive posterizing dunk last night.
Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray was robbed of one of the best dunks of the year on Monday night when an official inexplicably whistled for an offensive foul as he soared over Milwaukee's D.J. Wilson. It was a picture perfect poster dunk - and although it will be remembered as such by the fans - it unfortunately did not count towards Murray's 21-point performance.
Although the dunk was waved off, the explosive moment energized the Nuggets as well as the crowd at the Pepsi Center, as Denver pulled away in the fourth quarter. Following the 109-95 victory over the short-handed Bucks, Nuggets head coach Mike Malone described the controversial play as the most impactful moment of the night.
"It was an impressive dunk. I didn't see the foul [on the play]," Malone said. "It got the building lit; everyone was up...I would agree, Jamal's non-basket, was the most impactful play of the night."
As a result of Monday's win, the Nuggets improved to 43-21 on the season, which has them sitting just a half game back of the Los Angeles Clippers for the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference. Up next for Murray and co. is a quick road trip to Texas for matchups against the Dallas Mavericks (Wednesday) and San Antonio Spurs (Friday).
