Next month, the NBA plans to have its players embark on a journey to Disney World where they will compete in the league's first-ever bubble city. This concept is only necessary due to the Coronavirus and players are already having some very justified concerns. However, things took an interesting turn today as it was revealed that Kyrie Irving has brought nearly 200 players together, who are all feeling uncomfortable with the NBA's ambitious plans. In fact, Kyrie and the players will participate in a Zoom call to see where they stand on the issues.
If there is any team that could benefit the most from the league's return, it would be the Los Angeles Lakers who are title contenders. With this in mind, it's not surprising that players like Kyle Kuzma and Jared Dudley came out on Twitter in support of restarting the season. "Some of us want to hoop and compete don’t get that twisted," Kuzma wrote.
As you can see from the tweet above, Dudley is hoping to take part in this Zoom call and see what the biggest concerns are moving forward. At the end of the day, the players do need to be consulted before finalizing a plan as intricate as a bubble city.
If the NBA can't get the players to agree to it, the league could be in some serious trouble.
Jared Dudley Displays Confidence In NBA Return To Action
Jared Dudley seems to think the season will go on as planned.
One of the leagues hit the hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic is the NBA. Ever since March 11th, the NBA has had to close its doors and there is a healthy debate going on right now about whether or not the league should continue playing games without fans. Some think the season should be outright canceled while others want to see it go on in a safe environment.
Jared Dudley of the Los Angeles Lakers has been outspoken in this regard and today, he noted that he thinks the league will come back this year and that Adam Silver has a solid plan in place. In fact, Dudley says the league will be testing players on a consistent basis and that it will be very safe to return.

“If we don’t hit a spike and we don’t have a second wave of corona come back in the next two, three weeks, I am 100% confident, me personally, that we will figure out a way to have a season,’’ Dudley said Newsday. “Adam Silver has already come out and said he’ll make a decision in two to four weeks, so around that June 8 to 12 type of date, expect a decision. Hopefully the 15th, we go into training camp… I could see by that second week of July us playing games, in a neutral site, bubble.”
This should come as great news to basketball fans as it shows just how interested Adam Silver is in getting things back up and running. Hopefully, Dudley is right and we get basketball back this summer.

Alex Caruso Jokes About How Cheap LeBron James Is
Alex Caruso made sure to get some jokes off about the Los Angeles Lakers' fearless leader, LeBron James.
LeBron James has made a whole lot of money throughout his NBA career and for good reason. He is easily the best player of his generation and his deal with Nike has set him up for multi-generational wealth. Of all the players in the league, he is easily the highest earner when you combine all of his various endorsement deals and assets. However, just because you have a lot of money, doesn't necessarily mean you are spending a lot of it.
During an Instagram live between Lakers players Alex Caruso and Jared Dudley, the former spoke on LeBron's frugal lifestyle and how he is actually quite "cheap" with his money. Caruso ultimately admitted that it makes sense for LeBron to be so tight with his money because ultimately, that's how you keep your wealth in check.
“He is cheap, bro,” Caruso said. “That’s one thing people don’t realize. Rich people, bro…they want to keep their money.” Dudley had a good laugh at LeBron's expense over Caruso's comments although it isn't the first time LeBron has been called out for being cheap. Dwyane Wade made similar comments a few years ago and, of course, LeBron denied it all.
Moving forward, LeBron should just keep doing what he's been doing because it's clearly working for him.
Jared Dudley Reveals When NBA Season Could Potentially End
The NBA seems extremely determined to make sure we get a conclusion to this season.
Sports fans have had it rough over the last few months thanks to the Coronavirus. Essentially, sporting events aren't allowed to happen because they are simply too dangerous. If even one player gets infected, many others can get sick and potentially even die. It's a sad reality that we are all trying to cope with, even though it hasn't been very easy.
Over the last few weeks, the NBA has been coming up with scenarios for a return to action and now, some of the players are divulging what they've heard. Yesterday, NBA commissioner Adam Silver spoke to players about potential solutions and according to Lakers player Jared Dudley, the league is prepared to continue the current season well into October.
This commitment to closing out the season should be great news for basketball fans around the world. Many have been worried about what could happen moving forward and there have been fears that the league will outright cancel the season. This would be a huge detriment to teams like the Clippers, Lakers, and Bucks who are at the top of their respective conferences standings.
This is an always-developing story so stay tuned for all of the latest updates.
Jared Dudley Trashes Knicks For Not Signing KD & Kyrie Irving
Jared Dudley had a lot to say about the Knicks organization and their incompetence.
Jared Dudley is seen as one of those veteran players that you love to have in the locker room. He has played for numerous teams over the span of his career and he knows what he’s talking about in regards to basketball operations. Last season, Dudley was playing for the Brooklyn Nets and saw the team go on an interesting run that ended in the first round of the playoffs. Since leaving Brooklyn, the team has signed the likes of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
In a recent interview with The Athletic, Dudley was asked about the Nets’ signings and how both of those players were supposed to go to the New York Knicks. Dudley was quite harsh on the Knicks and essentially blamed their incompetent management for not being able to secure the two biggest free agents of last summer.

“And let’s be honest, if the Knicks are run right, the Knicks get them easily. It’s not even close,” Dudley said. “If the Knicks are run halfway decent, they get KD and Kyrie. Like, literally had to do everything right and got them.”
Considering Dudley used to play for the Knicks’ biggest rival, his comments shouldn’t be all that surprising. After all, James Dolan continues to clowned for the decisions he has made over the years. Dudley’s words are just salt in the wound.

Jared Dudley Counters Report That NBA Might Cancel The Season
The NBA is reportedly considering shutting down the season although Jared Dudley doesn't think that is happening anytime soon.
With the Coronavirus making its way throughout the United States, in unprecedented numbers, every single sports league in the country has been shut down. The NBA is one of the biggest leagues to be affected by the shut down as they were nearing the end of their regular season. There have been reports about what the league intends to do if and when they come back although the latest news is concerning. Brian Windhorst of ESPN reported that the league is angling themselves to cancel the season.
Jared Dudley of the Los Angeles Lakers was one of the first players to speak out on Windhorst's report. In the tweet below, Dudley notes that there is too much money at stake and that the NBA won't be making a real decision on this until after June 1st. Essentially, Dudley seems to be skeptical that the league would make any sort of impulsive decision.
Later today, all of the major sports league commissioners, including Adam Silver, will be hopping on a phone call with United States President Donald Trump where they will discuss the bility of starting some of the leagues back up again.
This meeting can go either two ways. Sports fans come away with hope, or we are left heartbroken. Hopefully, for all of us, it's the former.
Lakers Fan Breaks Motor Laws To Spew Hatred For Kawhi Leonard
Jared Dudley was pleasantly surprised by the outburst.
Jared Dudley has been one of the best locker room guys in the NBA over the last few seasons. While he doesn’t exactly get a ton of playing time or score a lot of points, you can always count on Dudley to bring his team together and get them ready for any challenge that may come their way. His experience has been worth a lot on the Los Angeles Lakers this season and it’s clear that the team loves him.
After yesterday’s big win against the Los Angeles Clippers, Dudley was walking around Los Angeles where he was met by a TMZ cameraman. During the exchange, Dudley spoke about the coronavirus and what the Lakers are doing to combat it. In the middle of the interview, a man in a car drove the wrong way on a one-way street just so he could yell “Fuck Kawhi.”
Of course, Kawhi Leonard is the Lakers’ biggest obstacle right now in terms of going to the NBA Finals. It remains to be seen whether or not the Lakers can dismantle the Clippers come playoff time although we can’t wait to find out. As for the fan, Dudley seemed impressed by his determination although didn’t exactly recommend the breaking of Los Angeles motor laws.
Moving forward, who do you have going farther in the postseason: the Lakers or Clippers?
Lakers’ Jared Dudley Roasts Sammy Adams After Beating Celtics
Lakers' veteran Jared Dudley effortlessly claps back at rapper Sammy Adams following victory over the Boston Celtics.
Los Angeles Lakers veteran Jared Dudley is no stranger to the trolling ways of #NBATwitter, and he has become quite adept at countering those snarky remarks with ease. Following the Lakers' 114-112 victory over the Boston Celtics at Staples Center on Sunday afternoon, Dudley once again found himself engaging with a hater on twitter. This time around, it was rapper Sammy Adams who lit a fuse under the 34-year old forward.

After the hard fought win, Dudley tweeted, "Wow!!! What a game!!! Nothing like winning vs your Rival!!!!! We have to dig deep for that one! Glad we could pull this one out for LakerNation.”
Sammy Adams, a noted Celtics fan, quickly responded by posting a video of Dudley's lackluster stat line (DNP - Coach's Decision) along with the following message, "Might as well have been at home on your couch – you fuckin bum.” Shortly thereafter, Dudley issued his response: “I think the same thing when I hear your Bum ass songs!!! Don’t let the rap game think you tough.. Ill smack the … nevermind it’s Sunday.”
Dudley did not see the floor on Sunday but that has never prevented him from celebrating his team's victory. As a result of Sunday's W over the rival Celtics, the Lakers improved to 43-12, five games up on the second seed Denver Nuggets. Up next for the Lake Show is a Tuesday night home game against Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans, which will air on TNT at 10:30pm ET.
LeBron James Gives Dwight Howard & Alex Caruso The King’s Co-Sign
The Lakers role players have been killing it.
Heading into this NBA season, there were some doubts around the league whether or not the Los Angeles Lakers had enough depth to go far. As of right now, the team is ranked first in the Western Conference with a record of 41-12. It's the second-best record in the entire NBA and for now, the Lakers are looking like a team who could go all the way and win the NBA Championship. Last night, the Lakers came through with a huge victory over the Denver Nuggets and their depth was a key factor as to why.
After the game, Jared Dudley took to Twitter where he praised Dwight Howard and Alex Caruso for providing the team with a much-needed spark in the second quarter. Howard and Caruso combined for 24 points while providing rebounds and defense. LeBron echoed Dudley's sentiments on Twitter by saying "Facts!! Them boys were amazing!!"
If you're a Lakers fan, last night's win should be very encouraging moving forward. The Lakers have been criticized for their perceived inability to win games against some of the league's best teams. Last night proved the team can beat anyone, especially when LeBron and Anthony Davis are at their best.
With the win, the Lakers are now on break for All-Star weekend. The next time they'll be in action is next Friday when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies in Los Angeles.
